Saltburn (2023)
"Saltburn: A Poor Attempt at Echoing Parasite's Brilliance"
As I watched "Saltburn," I couldn't shake off the feeling of déjà vu, not because it was reminiscent of a masterpiece, but because it shamelessly tried to emulate the brilliance of "Parasite." While "Parasite" effortlessly weaved socio-economic commentary with dark humor and gripping suspense, "Saltburn" stumbled clumsily, trying too hard to replicate its success.
The characters in "Saltburn" lacked depth, merely serving as caricatures of social classes without any real substance or development. Unlike the intricate web of relationships in "Parasite," the dynamics between the characters in "Saltburn" felt forced and contrived.
Furthermore, the plot of "Saltburn" failed to engage me. It meandered aimlessly, lacking the sharp wit and clever twists that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout "Parasite." Instead of building tension organically, "Saltburn" relied on predictable clichés and shallow drama.
Despite attempting to tackle similar themes of class divide and societal inequality, "Saltburn" lacked the nuance and finesse of "Parasite." Where "Parasite" masterfully blurred the lines between right and wrong, "Saltburn" delivered its message with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer, leaving little room for interpretation or introspection.
In conclusion, while "Saltburn" may have hoped to ride the coattails of "Parasite's" success, it ultimately falls short, serving as a forgettable imitation rather than a worthy contender. Save your time and watch "Parasite" again instead.
Bravo team what a mess.
Dune: Part Two (2024)
Disappointing Sequel: Dune Part Two
As someone who wasn't particularly enamored with the first Dune installment, I had hoped that Part Two would offer a more coherent and engaging experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, as the sequel proved to be just as convoluted and inaccessible as its predecessor.
One of the biggest issues with Dune Part Two is its overwhelming reliance on complex lore and exposition. While I understand that the Dune universe is rich with detail, the film bombards viewers with so much information that it becomes difficult to follow the plot or connect with the characters on any meaningful level.
The pacing of the film is also a major stumbling block. Scenes drag on for what feels like an eternity, only to be followed by abrupt shifts in tone and narrative focus. This lack of cohesion makes it challenging to stay engaged with the story, leading to frequent moments of boredom and frustration.
Furthermore, the performances from the cast, while commendable in their effort, fail to elevate the material. It's clear that the actors are doing their best with the material they've been given, but ultimately, their talents are wasted on characters who lack depth or development.
Visually, Dune Part Two is a mixed bag. While some of the special effects are impressive, others feel cheap and unconvincing. The overall aesthetic of the film is bleak and unappealing, making it difficult to find anything visually stimulating or memorable.
In conclusion, Dune Part Two is a disappointing sequel that fails to improve upon the shortcomings of its predecessor. Unless you're a die-hard fan of the franchise, I believe this is Completely overrated and very boring on its way.
First time ever in my life before even finishing my family left audience for this one...
Neighbour (2021)
Russia Is Occupier, Georgian situation explained ironically.
An awesome idea expressed with outstanding performance and satire by actors.
This is Live documentary how Russia is behaving with Georgia , Ukraine and etc...
Their aggressive behaviour leads like uninvited neighbours as shown in this film.
The 2008 Russian - Georgian War was a war between Georgia, on one side, and Russia and the Russian-backed self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, on the other. The war took place in August following a period of worsening relations between Russia and Georgia, both formerly constituent republics of the Soviet Union.
Currently 20% of Georgia's internationally recognized territory is under Russian military occupation. Russia does not allow the EUMM monitors to enter South Ossetia and Abkhazia in violation of the Six Point Ceasefire Agreement.
Thanks everyone who participated in this movie.
Brighton 4th (2021)
Georgian culture shown in USA
This movie is absolutely need to watch. Brilliant acting, There are many problems which transform s and guides you to whole scenario. Gambling addiction problems, bad habit lifestyle, somehow teaches you that there are many things above than wasting your time.
Views from Georgia leads to NY views , simply shows very atmospheric experience, which you obviously need to catch. Kakhi Kavsadze ( plays his last role ) pure class, Soundtrack's playing quite dramatic role entering each part of the movie.
Fatherly love, support and nothing usual than just giving you the feel to understand the feelin in specific cultural way.
Bravo team, Well done.
