Avenue 5 (2020)
Awful
Truly awful. Considering the cast it's surprising they managed to make it so bad. Hugh Laurie must have been desperate to take part in this...
El Camino (2019)
Meeeeeh don't bother
So I won't overdo this. Nothing much happens, bunch of slow paced flashbacks etc. It's like a very slow episode of Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul stretched out in to a 2-hour 'movie'. They should have made it a 'special' and tagged it on to the end of Breaking Bad as a holiday special type of thing rather than calling it a movie which sets expectations differently.
To be honest I was never a fan of Pinkman, such a weak and boring character. I loved Breaking Bad and Saul is good too, but I wouldn't have bothered watching this if my wife hadn't insisted that we had to watch it 'before someone at work spoils it' for her.
Yawn.
Fortitude (2015)
All thriller and no filler
Characters are varied and interesting, casting and acting is on the whole very good. The story developed well with each episode I didn't feel there were any that were 'fillers' where nothing really happened.
I'm not sure why some people here didn't like it, perhaps it's not brainless enough. I've watched some awful movies and TV that have had quite high IMDb ratings - Travelers, seriously 8.1?!?
I would put Fortitude in the 'Thriller' genre rather than 'Horror'.
Looking forward to the next season.
Not sure why this has to be a minimum of 10 lines - what a pain. I'm not trying to be a professional critic just leave a bit of feedback for others. Now this is 'filler'...
Legends (2014)
Worth watching
I'm not going to over analyse this. It's a decent show, second season is a very different format to the first but just as enjoyable perhaps more so as it's a bit less 'American'. It follows through on the backstory of Martin Odum.
Worth watching, it's not Breaking Bad but much better than some of the rubbish being produced these days.
Now I'm just having to add more words for the review to be accepted. What more do I need to say - isn't this a ridiculous policy. I'm not a wannabe TV critic I just wanted to let people know that this show is worth watching. Ten lines of text - seriously? Almost there now not much more to type...
