Men (2022)

Horror Brilliance at its finest. Top 5 movies ive ever seen.

I had average expectations sitting down to watch this, an average rating of 6.4 didnt' spell a masterpiece but then i knew some people just don't understand good horror so I gave it a go. Amazing, breathtaking even as a true horror aficionado, terrifying as a harderned adult. A chilling atmosphere with well defined and acted characters that builds up ever more disturbingly to an explosion of true horror genius both in conception and excecution. In an age when so many, most, horror movies fall so terribly short, this was so very refreshing and gives me knew faith to stay with the genre. Thank you so much for making this masterpiece.

Darling (II) (2015)

Decent amateur horror movie

Not quite hereditary or midsummer in terms of a horror of the year but, decent. Darling delivers effective chilling cinematography but its acting seems tinted with 'amateurness' and the scrip often was simply not up to par, that first scene seemed so unnatural I almost turned It off, not wise to have the worse scene first either.

Clever twist!

I watched this movie after having seen a few 'mediocre' horrors in a row so my expectations were for 6/10 at best. The movie explores the evils of womanizing with an excellent twist, and I've said too much already, if you like thrillers and horrors and like me you do a fair bit of online dating, then you must watch this movie.

When I heard the imdb summary I was put off, I only ended up watching the movie because I had nothing better to do that evening ... but as the movie unravels, the mindless gore turns into the most astoundingly dark, disturbing masterpieces of horror that will promise to give goosebumps to even veterans of the horror genre such as myself. A very good horror movie I recommend to any horror fan. Especially the last third of the movie is just utterly brilliant combination of unraveling and unforeseen twists with dark and disturbing excellently executed content. If you like horror, you must watch this one. As scary as the original French martyrs.

Alps (2011)

A decent idea for a movie, but nevertheless a terrible movie.

I enjoy alternative movies, I actively seek them out in fact as I find mainstream Hollywood rather dull and repetitive most of the time... and this IS an alternative move... unfortunately for the director it is however perhaps the worst I have ever seen. The main, principal story line of this movie had potential, but the way the director has actually created the movie is very boring and stupid. I advise that despite if like me you found the description interesting, you don't waste your time watching it, because I want my evening back. My partner also likes alternative movies and she also found the movie a waste of time. If this leaves you lacking a movie for tonight and you enjoy alternative cinema, go for a good David Lynch movie.
