Gossip Girl (2007)
Guilty Pleasure Galore.
Where do I start with Gossip Girl, it's such a big guilty pleasure. It has a great story-line, with a full circle story, with great character development, where viewers can empathize with the characters. The pressures of the future and colleges for a teen. A all to real love battle, between Blair and Chuck. A clash in the two best friends, which adds to the depth of the story. Also great eye candy, in Chace Crawford & Ed Westwick, to girls interested, as well as the fashion, the guest stars, and amazingly extravagant parties. Great ideas to use in your real life, like the white party, etc... I strongly suggest you go on netflix, and binge watch the series, you won't be disappointed.
The Task (2011)
Rip off...
So I went into watching this film, thinking it'll be a great original horror film. I was wrong. It's not an original concept, it's like a saw/fear rip off. It did have a few scares in and was original in the sense of the flesh eating vampire/cannibals. It was well written to an extent. The cast's acting complimented each other, and the characters fit together like a glove. The location looked great with the film, I's love to visit there myself! All in all, you should watch it yourself, to get your own opinion, you might like it. I think it's the kind of film, which would only be watched the once, not several times. @RebeccaKLxo
The Collector (2009)
Everyone has an individual opinion...
I have probably seen this film about 3/4 times now. I personally didn't think it was that bad. Though upon first glance, it seems like a Saw franchise rip off, some of the torture methods were quite original, and the film had plenty of suspense, once it got into it. It was well written, to keep the suspense, torture and thrills in line. And the end was brilliantly built up in the right way for a sequel unlike some films.
I think it's one of those films, where you'd have to watch it for yourself, so you can have your own opinion about the film. I'd say watch it, if your a fan of Saw, or general torture horror films, as this will set a new bar for those kind of films.
Grave Encounters (2011)
Surprising...
I'm not usually a fan of ghost horror films, but this one surprised me. Anything with haunted hospitals, mental or not, I'm intrigued about. So I found this film.
I've seen this, in total like 8 times now, and still love it! The scares still scare me, it's written well, and you can not tell that it's made on a budget. The film always keeps me on edge, which is what an exciting horror film is meant to do.
Although the woman was a little annoying, and the beginning of the film is a little slow. There rest of the film is great, in a great location.
I do recommend watching this one. But DO NOT watch the second film.
Grave Encounters 2 (2012)
Shouldn't of made a sequel...
So I saw the first Grave Encounters, and loved it! Thought the second one would be great...
Boy, I was wrong. Don't waste your time with the second one. The beginning was unrelated to the story, and a waste of like thirty minutes. The acting was terrible, they should of just got a few teenagers to do it, they probably could act better. There wasn't any scares. However I would love to visit the hospital building! I wouldn't bother watching this one. JUST watch the first one!The second film was a waste of money and resources!

Sons of Anarchy (2008)
Yes, Yes, Yes,
Where to begin? I started watching this, after getting together with my partner, as he had previously been into it. And since that moment from watching the first season, we've seen the whole series, several times online.
The writing behind the show, is so good. It's around a pretty cool subject, of Harley Davidsons! And has paired it with great actors. And Tommy Flanagan's Scottish accent is to die for as Chibs.
It does have a lot of violence in!, but that coupled with character development, is a to die for combination.

Paranormal Asylum (2013)
Meh - Don't Bother...
Firstly, I will applaud that this film does have a great idea behind it, being based on a fact, but it wasn't executed in the best way. Other then the no scares at all, it was a very timid horror/ghost film, I've ever seen, which I did not expect from the title: Paranormal Asylum.
The film's quite obviously made on a budget, with obviously poorly done graphics, and special effects which makes the film scream fake. The storyline had so many holes in it, and was not fluent.
All in all, if I could I would not rate this film anything, surprised it's been given like 2 stars. It's not worth watching or taking the time out of your day to watch.
However if you do decide to watch the film, you have been warned! @RebeccaKLxo
The Walking Dead (2010)
I love it, You should try it.
Firstly, this is just my opinion. But after being ill, and watching the 3rd season, I became hooked, then watched season 1-2, and then 4, and now season 5!...
I've seen a few zombie related TV shows, but none have really stuck, as much as The Walking Dead has. AMC, has done a great job with it. The writing is unbelievable, with the right amount of all components, including violence/death/love etc... Each character development arch, is phenomenally done as well.
The special effects, and make up especially on each zombie looks so realistic too. Plus who doesn't love a hot, redneck bad-ass, with a crossbow?! :L
My point being, It's worth the watching.
