El derecho de Jesús - The Right of Jesús (2008)
Total trash
My friend bought this movie because the premise seem good, I wouldn't bought it simple because of the terrible cover (WTF? who the hell made it, it's so bad! ha ha), anyway, so we watched at her house. Now I'm wishing I could get back the two hours of my life that I wasted watching this trash. I'll make this as brief as I can so not to waste more precious time.
No, actually, I rather say how awful this film was. I mean, this movie was SO bad I actually felt ripped off. Even though I had seen it for free. I feel bad for my friend who bought this piece of crap film. I was furious at the waste of my time. The storyline COULD have been good, but it's not. The premise of the plot is dumb, useless, the presentation awful, the acting is awful and is an unfortunate failure in many ways, everything. The worst of them all, I think, are the painfully boring dialogs that Jesus, the main character, deliver in a lot of scenes.
In conclusion, I refuse to even comment further. I hope Jesus Galindo redeem himself by doing a less crappy film. This one should be burned, buried and forgotten. I'm miserable. I'm less of a person for seeing this. What was I thinking?
Tortillas Again? (2006)
This must be the most horrid piece of crap ever to see the light of day.
I can't exactly remember how or why I ended up seeing this movie, but here I am, alive, after watching the worst film ever made. 'Tortillas Again?' is that bad, I promise you. The main plot is so very full of holes, clichés, and stupid plot devices that it is difficult to be involved by it. For a "family" comedy, the plot doesn't need to be perfect, but it needs to be good enough so that it doesn't take away from the film, in 'Tortillas Again?' it is so weak that it damages the film at it's core. The characters themselves are poor, actors are obviously amateur and possibly improvised. Editing is atrocious, did the editor used the pre-installed Windows Movie Maker from his computer to put together this film? Paul Ramirez has to be the lest talented director in the industry; did he did everything by himself? Did he filmed the movie using an old camcorder? I've seen homemade quinceañeras videos with better production and higher image quality than this pathetic film...
Only a truly cynical and egocentric person might think that making reference to independent directors during the film is a good self-promotion idea as if they where remotely closed to their level.
Enough said... This film is so awful!
