Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2024)

So much hate, just for the sake of hating!

I am Trekkie, always was and always will be. Voyager and DS9 were the shows closest to my heart. Needless to say I was excited that a new Startrek series was coming, Excited and also skeptical.... Because how can one make Startrek even better? Right! That is very hard!

What I find the absolute most disappointing about this series is all the people hating just to hate! First they whine that we don;t get a new series, then we DO get one and they do nothing but hate.... Then wonder WHY we never get new good shows... because of people like you, that is why!

We live in a new era, we moved on, these are new times, if you want the Startrek from the 60ties, go watch that! But don;t go expecting Startrek to stay stuck in those, they are trying to get a new generation for Trekkies, which is perfect! More Trekkies is always better!

The show itself looks great, sounds great and the acting is on par. So stop all the whining and the hating and just try to enjoy the show for what it is, and do not try to protect the purity of Startrek. Loosen up, and most importantly, lighten up! If you don;t like it, don;t watch it, just don;t try and ruin it for all the people that ARE happy we have a new Startrek!

Incredible movie creating awareness!

When I looked up this movie at first I was skeptical, due to the reviews on this website..... Boy were they wrong ! This is a hell of a movie, the acting is superb. During this movie I got so angry at the doctors, because this is how that world really works. Not only is it based on actual events, it highlights all that is wrong in the medical world today. The movie is enlightening to say the least. Watch this movie and make up your own mind! Don't always look at reviews, as clearly they can be dead wrong!
