Resident Evil (2022)
Would love to meet the people that greenlit this abomination
Worst screen adaptation I've ever seen for anything let alone a video game. Horrible. Nothing makes sense, has barely anything to do with Resident Evil. The acting by everyone involved is wooden and atrocious. The special effects and monsters look ok but the action scenes gave me a headache and were all over the place. Badly choreographed. Avoid at all costs don't even bother with it, especially if you are a fan of the Resident Evil video games.
The producers involved in this, wow, if you asked the general population of resident evil fans how to make a bad resident evil tv show, 99% would come out ideas like this. What were they thinking??!!
A Boy Called Christmas (2021)
Ok movie but NOT for kids
Very dark, angry, and scary, unlikable characters being mean for the first 3 quarters of the movie. I have a 5 year old girl and I'll be lucky she doesn't have nightmares for a month after watching this. Great CGI and effects, beautiful scenery, but the whole thing is one mean spirited scene after another with nothing happy or fun for most of the movie. It's basically an origin story of Santa and Elves, but for adults.
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
Most let down I've ever been for a movie in 30 years
Sopranos is my favourite TV show of all time. I do not write reviews often however I am a massive movie / tv show watcher. I was totally let down by this film. The editing, plot pacing, are totally off. It feels like they filmed 30 hours of Material, slapped 2 hours of it together and tried to see what would stick. Tony Soprano is hardly in it. The film is billed as titled "A Sopranos story". This couldn't be farther from the truth. Other gangs and random people have much more screen time than any Soprano in this movie. I'm not going to even go into the "woke" parts of the movie because frankly it's not even needed. It's a obvious fact that this isn't a Sopranos movie.
Young Mr Gandolfini should be ashamed to be in this mess. He should have agreed on a tight script before signing the dotted line and ruining his fathers legacy.
The Search for Santa Paws (2010)
I don't usually write reviews but this was abysmally horrible
Worst movie ever.
Advertised by Disney as a story about cute dogs and Santa for kids, in the first 20 minutes Santa's friend dies, and a child's toy teddy bear gets burned in an incinerator on purpose by a mean lady running an orphanage. The dogs are nowhere to be seen. My 4 year old was crying holding her teddy bear watching this movie. I turned it off. Shame on whoever made this and shame on Disney. They should take it off the Disney Channel so more kids don't cry. Horrible horrible movie as others have said. Santa also gets hit by a car and almost dies in a hospital with tubes hooked up to him. And his makeup is all weird. In the bottom 5 movies I've ever seen and I've seen thousands.
Killer Sofa (2019)
Only have time to see one killer sofa movie? See this one.
This movie is better than it has any right to be.
Great fun and lots of laughs.
Rambo: Last Blood (2019)
Whole Theatre was Cheering Rambo!!!
Just as good as the last Rambo movie. Awesome action sequences. Wish the movie was longer it went by quickly. Stallone still has it at his age. Hope he continues making more movies and has another Rambo movie in him. The whole movie theatre was cheering for Rambo it was a great fun popcorn movie. Most people know what they're getting into when watching a Rambo movie!
