Shi Guang Dai Li Ren (2021)
Need to learn how to wait
Honestly I loved it. Both the first and second seasons were phenomenally good. It's one of my favorite animated shows ever (at least until now). The reason why I have it a 9 is because I hate to wait; especially after that season 2 finale. I usually never begin unfinished series but everyone loved this one so curiosity got the best of me.
I think this is one of those shows that even people who don't like/watch animated movies can enjoy. So do yourself a favor: just watch it. It has great writing, great characters and great soundtrack. There is no reason for you not to dive into this magical world.
Tokyo Ghoul (2014)
It could have been a masterpiece
I started watching the anime, and shortly after, a friend of mine told me that I should have read the manga instead. So I made it a point to read the manga after finishing the anime and here I am now.
The main problem seems to be the omission of certain scenes leading to a nonsense season 3.
The first season is great; it is similar to the manga, although it seems like a lot of important information has been lost, if you animate such a popular manga I don't get why you don't do it properly and maybe give it a couple more episodes and more time to refine it.
Personally, I really enjoyed the second season; it lacked structure, but I preferred the anime to the manga, at least in the beginning. It made more sense to me, and I could relate more to the decisions made following what occurred to Kaneki at the end of Season 1, then again they didn't get anywhere with the deviation and just returned to the manga storyline. The issue is the ending; The fact that they chose to deviate from the manga to then return to it as if nothing changed was so infuriating. They avoided many critical storyline elements at the end of the season in order to continue the story in the third season, assuming that everyone is aware of those elements. As I watched it I still hadn't read the manga and I remember being extremely confused.
It's all downhill from there. To be honest, I didn't like Re manga (as much as Tokyo ghoul) , but the anime is unwatchable. It's as if they've given up making sense of the plot.
Finally the fourth season was similar to the manga.
Overall, I'm not sure if I would recommend watching it; it's up to you, I guess. Think about an awesome plot but poorly executed. The manga would provide you with greater enjoyment, but for me there are some parts of the anime that I prefer. If you don't want to read the manga but you really want to watch it then don't expect too much after the first season.

The loss of innocence and the reality of injustice
First of all Kim Soo Hyun has done an outstanding job. I could not praise him enough for his acting skills in this role, he makes you feel everything that is happening to him and soon enough you find yourself invested in wanting to see him free.
To everyone who is disappointed in the finale, I'm sorry but the series intent is not centered on his actual innocence rather more on the will of people to believe that he is guilty. There is no justice and for me that ending was the perfect representation of that.
We get to follow his days in prison and all the suffering and abuse from the police and others, which only helps to build up expectations for the result of the trial.
At the end the trial's result is completely negative, his friend who helped him cope with prison died. The real murderer has been captured but the justice system has already failed him. It is anticlimactic because it is the realistic reaction of a person who has been through all of that. It doesn't give you the opportunity to see people apologizing to him because no one does that in reality, he is just expected to go on with his life and those who imprisoned him in the first place exploit the opportunity for their own benefit.
In my opinion the ending is perfect, I wouldn't have changed anything.
The last scene with the main character leaves you wonder whether he decided to go on with his life or not, and this was the best ending for his character, I wouldn't have liked it if they showed him killing himself but neither if he would have just forgotten everything as if nothing happened (that would have made everything in the series meaningless).
Just overall one of the best kdramas I've ever seen.

Almost there
I really liked this series. It kept me entertained throughout the development of the plot and intrigued in all the plot twists.
However there are some problems that need to be addressed. First of all, the whole plot has several holes that didn't get to be explained just because of a major plot twist that makes you completely forget about them. That is until you finish the episode and you think about the storyline. I get it, it is cool to see Changho outsmart everyone else, and it was fun for me as well but some attention should be given to the storyline as well otherwise the plot becomes far-fetched and almost sci-fi.
Furthermore I know lee Jong-suk is very popular and to be honest he did an outstanding job in this series but in a tv drama the main actor should not be everything you like, try not to give your review only based on him. That said, his acting was really good and he deserves the appreciation.
SPOILER: now the ending... I personally didn't mind minho dying but I was disappointed by the way the last episode was directed.
The death of Minho prompted Changho to use the power that comes with being big mouse and I found it entertaining but it lasted maximum 10 minutes.
The last 5 minutes are ridiculous. I mean what was the point of the whole plot? Just to see Minho and Doha die? The montage at the end felt like a joke. I would have preferred if they had added another episode to let us see how Changho lived without her and being big mouse to its full potential. The disappointment of the last episode made me want to lower my rating even more, the first and last episodes are always the ones you remember best. Nevertheless I have to be honest in giving my rating as well and since I really liked the rest of the series, 8 seemed the right rating.
All of this to say that yes, it is a really enjoyable series and most of it is well done but one must admit its weaknesses as well.

I really wanted to give it a 10
I really liked it and definitely recommend it to everyone but I had some doubts here and there:
I was somewhat let down by Detective Cha's quick assumption that Hyun Su was the murderer in Episode 14. He was completely justified in being angry with her. She was certainly telling the truth when she claimed that she only believes what she sees, but we've just seen them sobbing and getting close in the last three episodes. They have already had this conversation: Hyun Su has already realized that he genuinely cared about Ji Won and ji won has already realized that he was a good person at heart. I mean this man's father was a serial killer, he was abused by him, abused by his neighbors who tried exorcism on him, he was convinced that he was possessed by the ghost of his father, the only person who has always believed in him, let him take the fault for her crime and he trusted a family to give him a life again and this family turned out to be the antagonists, is it that hard to understand that he just needs someone to believe him? How can Cha not believe him? I hoped in character development, it's not just him that needed it. If a guy who went through all of that managed to still be a good guy and had the will to care for others, I would give him my complete trust.
After being shot, why does he not see the hallucinations of his father anymore? I hope I missed the scene where they explain it because it played a major role. According to the storyline he began to see his father after the latter's death, which means that according to his memory (he remembers everything until the car accident), he should still be able to see him.
The finale was a bit too much, I would have preferred a last episode with the leads being happy without having to go through yet another problem which we know by the end of the episode it will be solved (we have already tackled many times that he was able to love), this makes it useless in the first place. I feel like the writers obsessed on showing that Hyun Su was able to love, but in doing so, in my opinion, they disregarded the ptsd (and its symptoms) that such a traumatic experience forced him to live with, I feel like they used those symptoms only to explain dramatic scenes but never gave the main character the chance to "cure" them.
However, Lee Jeon-gi is one of my favorite Korean actors, so I might be biased toward this drama because of him, I think this is some of his best acting I've seen so far. Although the drama's storyline was b really entertaining, what really sets it apart from other dramas is the way it makes you feel. The rollercoaster of emotions is assured.

This series deserves much more recognition
It's a great series. Despite the fact that the main plot twists are quite predictable, the writers keep including new ones to keep the story intriguing.
Although the brain transplant narrative was not my favorite, the conclusion was satisfying and the rest of the story was still engaging.
The actors, especially the lead, are fantastic. I felt even sorry for him at times.
I'm going to recommend this series to everyone, it's very entertaining.
Episode 5 was the best of the series. It encompassed everything: emotions, suspense, incredible acting, continuous plot twists and a shocking finale. That episode alone was worth a 10.
Sijipeuseu: The Myth (2021)
Interesting plot but badly executed
The storyline of time travel is always appealing and interesting enough to keep the watchers entertained, however it feels somewhat stupid at times, the way they escape, the script etc. Apart from multiple silly errors in the script, the finale in my opinion didn't make any sense.
SPOILERS: As I interpreted it, the timeline of the future didn't happen at all since Tae Sul was able to avoid the war by killing himself, at the same time he found a way to exist in a "time pocket" with the version of Seo Hae that he loves even if in reality they both died (we know this is possible because of what was explained in episode 11).
In the end everyone in the present timeframe is actually alive except for Tae Sul: Seo Hae is still a kid and her family is alive and well, mr Park didn't kill anyone and even sigma is alive and well.
What I didn't get is why they showed the ending scene with sigma. Did they want to leave people questioning whether he really went away? But him being the bad guy would not make sense anymore. Apart from the fact that Tae Sul is dead in his present time, why would he still have the journal when everything from the future timeline disappeared? How would he know about timelines and time travel in general when his knowledge and power derived from things that didn't happen yet but now will never happen?
This is where I am confused, for this reason while I was going to give this series a 7 it dropped to a 6.
Nevertheless I think it is still worth watching as it was at least entertaining.

Good series
Honestly I would have rated it more if it wasn't for the last episode.. it doesn't have a happy ending, that's fine but if they wanted to make it more impactful they should have begun the romance a lot earlier... it felt a bit rushed and from there everything else became predictable. It doesn't make sense to hint at a romance (though it was barely even a friendship) in the last episode and soon after to make him die. Either you let me get attached to them as a couple and let him die after or don't let him die at all. Anyway apart from that the first 6 episodes were actually really great and I enjoyed them a lot!
