From past few years I had lost hope in Indian cinema that they would make anything really this good, this is infact the best.
Basically they've shown the story without making Harshad good or bad. They've shown what wrong did he did, what loss did people suffer due to him, how he was caught, how he was unfairly hounded by the agencies, how many who enjoyed during his good times created his situation worse, and how the bad luck got worse.
They've shown that time is the most powerful b*tch.

Superb acting by Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan, powerful and important story, excellent cinematography and strong music made this movie a masterpiece.
I watched this movie in 3D and it was an experience. I never expected that bollywood could make such advanced special effects and that too in 3D.
The looks of the actors was also awesome whether be Luke Kenny in the role of Aurangzeb or Sharad Kelkar in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Specially the looks of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Sharad Kelkar was awesome.
The movie gets a bit boring when the plot was building up in the first half and soon picks the pace and in the second when real the action and fight scene begins the movie deeply engages with the heart and mind.
More such stories needs to be told. A must watch.

Sensitive subject, poor movie

Just making a movie on a sensitive subject doesn't makes or a good movie. Rather one should be even more sensitive while making such stories.
Acting-Even if the plot is weak good acting boosts it up. I think anyone could have acted better than Deepika. Deepika failed miserably.
Direction- Meghna Gulzar is a good director. But I don't know what happened to her while directing this movie. A slow paced boring movie isn't the one which does justice to your pocket. Acid attack victims do not rise everytime like Malti did in the movie instead they end up getting worse. This is their real plight. Movie should have shown this in better way.
Overall I'm giving 2 stars out of 10 because it is a sensitive subject and a movie on such a subject was due.

one of the best AJ's real superb acting

I saw this movie before watching PRIMAL FEAR and I am writing this review after watching both the films.There should be no doubt Primal fear is better than Deewangee but only in terms of direction and not action. AJAY DEVGAN HAS REALLY DONE COMPLETE JUSTICE TO HIS JOB and this is one of his best performance which really brings real thriller while watching this movie. In one of the scene AJAY DEVGAN beats up a girl and verbally abuses her(don't think he sexually exploit her, that is for some other reason) this type of scene is very rarely shown in bollywood movies where a girl is beaten plus verbally abused and the reason is not female sexual exploitation. In that scene both the actor and actress have done a tremendous job.There is lot more. You should definitely watch this movie.
