So many films that are hard to decide on watching,or not....

Im not saying this film is a terrible one,& should avoid.Being I enjoy Film Genres(&sub-Genres that are made,too)such as Horror,Sci- Fi,Thrillers,&even have become also a fan of FFF/Found Footage Films,etc.Although TBH/To Be Honest,it is a movie that I would honestly say is more or less,predictable-like many movies are.But I would at least recommend watching it if your in the mood to,or are merely hoping to pass the time w/a movie that isn't half-bad.Ona Sidenote-I do have to say that I've become rather frustrated that there has become a point that there are So MANY films made by various&likely"self thought"of,maybe even"self taught"as well,when it comes to"Film- Makers"w/the films released or being made.&are worse than the traditional yet tolerably watchable B-/B-Minus type of movies!Yet Altogether this is a decent film,that is decently enjoyable for its length,quality,even though it has actors I've never seen before-but IMHO+TBH,it makes for being more of the traditional B- Movie!! :)

Cabin Fear (2015)

IMO,1of Many under-rated.Majoritively,curiously,aren't Most films this new Quality.....

I think that the film is truly a good movie,as Id said thats IMO.I admittedly rated 10/10 because of this,though its limited&hard to rate films on IMDbs'(along with even Amazons',too,as I have been trying to include in my reviews...)1-10/10 Star Rating system,when I feel it would be nice if I could rated it roughly 7.5/10 Stars.

But,when you think about the new releases of movies over these recent years,much like this one for example,they ironically seem to be of similar quality?Yet at the same time,are also Not the worst movies made & released as well.Something we all can relate to.So also IMHO,its almost like they're like the new "Good and Enjoyable" movies in the various Film Genres,like from films in the last couple decades that maybe had been in theaters w/"Big-Hit Blockbusters"like:The Bone Collector,Murder By Numbers,Red Planet,The Lake House,Sphere,etc..yet Not bein the"Big-Hit Blockbusters" like: Twilight,Arrival,Star Wars,Interstellar,Avatar&so forth.But aren't the "B-/B-MINUS" flicks like:Starship Troopers,Tremors,"After-School Specials",Species,etc are per-say...All watched,well-known typa similar films from different genres,some that were sarcastically laughable&cant believe were made or money had been spent to make.But the films similar to this film when it comes to people rating and expectations were voiced as not great,a waste.I just think our expectations w//the resources avail.,are set high,but don't consider if these are BOTH: between like the known "Good and Enjoyable" films and the "Big-Hit Blockbusters".Plus along with that the different genre films,they maybe have a good summary,movie trailer,and overall decent good movie "story-line",just not possibly enough movie budgets to allow room for doin it justice,or was even as itd made its way from movie producers&companies,wasn't done by or w/the right overall circumstances.Bottom line is that it was definitely Not the worst I've seen,&do believe that some reason the films are in a sense the "new" expectation for "Good and Enjoyable" films,some are better done,along with way worse...

Just sayin'!So,I do recommend giving future films,like this as well,a chance.Everyones Perceptions,AND Opinions are different!!

Arrival (II) (2016)

I thought that this film as a great movie!It is a movie both enjoyed and one that I was glad to see,let alone to of heard about being the fact is that I don't have cable,so hearing about what new expected films coming to theaters or to DVD,etc.I just knew that this Sci-Fi seemed very good from seeing trailers on the internet.Once watching it,the past films along the lines that bring to mind questions:"Are we truly alone?...Is there life on other planets?On &/or In other systems?"&so forth.Granted this is a Sci-Fi film,that had great actors who played the laid out story-line of their characters,and as humans.The hint of uncertainty of what the new "Arrivals" want,are they friend or foe,what do they want...

I'm guessing some of the influences in making this movie came from other similar ones,only making it "from a new perspective".Also,IMHO,maybe using even history,such as evidence unearthed left by human-kinds various ancestors "records" dated centuries ago,found All over the world showing drawings,depictions,&so forth.Having the help of Geologists,Scientists,Ancestors still alive.It seemed to have a common translation of sorts shown that we believe as Aliens and ships,majoratively"similar".Point is that I think that if the film- makers and the other similar films also did their research.Looking @our combined wanting to explore,learn more.

It succeeded and then some for when it comes to my taste in books,TV shows,as well as films,making this a memorable,enjoyable one I hope to watch again,much like how I also enjoy the film"Lucy",&its technology Sci-Fi sub-genre style!I am glad to say openly i think it is also one I recommend to others to enjoy!

***On a separate subject apart from my review of"Arrival".When it comes to rating movies that are more than say just a single numbered rating system I find is a bit limited,&a bit frustrating admittedly.Given its rather hard to use IMDb's(along w/Amazon's too)rating system,its always been to where I wish there were ways to rate films altogether in having the 1 through 10 scale w/the ability to have @the very least,"half-star"ratings available,as in,".5 through 10/10" Star Rating.Just saying!***

Mythica: The Necromancer (2015)

To start off,I know its not worthy of a 10 Star,but did think its more of a 7or8.When you really think about how it seems the majority of movies we are,IMO,seeing made Are"B-"/"B-MINUS" films we are stuck watching!!Though there are many reasons for the viewers rating and opinions,mostly having to do as a start,is if they have good or bad backing,when it comes to either having Low, or High "Movie Budgets".Granted there have bee those "Big Budget,Highly Advertised Blockbuster Films",that endup flopping!!Now it seems films such as this,and its sequels,that Overall Films made anymore are almost intentionally in the "B-/B-MINUS" movies in a world who seems to always want big hit movies.I've found some rather lower-rated/under- rated,IMO,movies that Id found were not bad at all,and concentrated more on the movies story-line vs who the actors were,etc.So on & so forth....

The Amityville Terror (2016)

Admittedly,it had its fair share of having cliché scenes&moments,compared to even the re-makes,yet a somewhat "Homage"to the movies made through the years,Id think.But truthfully yet unfortunately too,it wasn't quit up to par,which Im REALLY guessing that they didn't have much for a"Movie Budget"that made the difference,&isn't on the same level-as in how well the Director did&how well w/knowing whats needed from the Actors,which as I go on further(Or if you watch this yourself),I think the Actors each played their characters great,&worked w/what they had avail. to 'em,which is why,&what made this more of a decent&watchable film!! (If You REALLY wanna see a badly done film thats also of the well- known Horror flicks&re-makes of"The Exorcist",the bad&really tacky couldn't bring myself to finish watching film made this year is"Accidental Exorcist"!Definitely this is a"B--/B-Minus Minus"film!!)

If theyd had more $$ to work with,the Effects,even movie scenes&sets overall wouldn't likely have it come together and be as I put it,your typical"B-/B-Minus"movie instead of being either the term"Blockbuster Hit Movie",or the worse version of a "B-"Movie is ones I call a "B--/B-Minus Minus"movie thats just SO BAD,or FLAT OUT Terrible that I cant bring myself to finish watching it type of thing!!

I just think that w/watching this it was along the general same known story&plot more so than less,yet is just a different "Low Movie Budget"version I guess is an easier way to put it,along w/some added twist to the rules w/the movie,like in the summary on here,the townspeople are per say,secretive...

The Remains (I) (2016)

I know its not a"10".More of a 7,IMHO,the film IS Worth Watching...

As I said,I know this films NOT worth rating it a 10,IMHO its more of a 7,yet definitely IS worth more than its current 3.8 average rating!I agree w/the review written by flitz35-638-627650 .I also think yes,this was likely a"Low Movie-Budget"type of film made.But it was used rather well to where if they had more to work with,would've made it possible to do more with it.Although even with BOTH the Actors & the Directing was done rather well and worked with what they had to use.Its kinda great to see good films,like this.that are as I would call a"B-/B-Minus"film where it didn't have a"Big-Budget,&Large Amounts of Advertising",yet was made using a decent story line in the amount of"run time"they were given to work with,that didn't come across as badly done w/it's quality too!

I feel that there have been WAY Worse films made.You know the kind,where the actors hired were terrible,the video equipment used was obviously like it'd been either cheap,or inexperienced in using to where the shots used After editing,were still poor quality in many ways,that even"Made for TV"movies are done better!!We all know what it's like where you either are shutting the movie off after 10mins or so,OR,you're still watching & thinking"Maybe it'll get better soon?....Maybe now,it'll get better soon?!!....",but it never did as the credits start to roll....Just sayin,I think this is film worth trying to watch!

Paranormal Lockdown (2016– )

Im Not the only 1 I hope Lookin Forward 2a 2nd Season,yet Also Wish@the Same Time Nick would Still Do SOME G.A. TV Episodes,Too?!?!?

When Id found out that Nick was doing this new TV Show,I was Excited!Being Im a Big Fan of the Ghost Adventures TV Show!!I looked forward to seeing Nick Groff's new show,&watch all of the 1st Season!Except Id of coarse Greedily Wished there was More than Just the 6 Episodes,though.As Im sure a lot of fans of Ghost Adventures would agree(&of other varieties,&similar-type shows based on Sci-Fi Investigations&Paranormal-type genres)!!For what I've watched so far,this TV shows a Truly Worthy 1 Just 2Be Watching!Especially being its the 1st season,even if you've never watched GA seasons w/Nick in the series,or never seen GA@all!

Being Im obviously a Ghost Adventures TV Show Fan,I've watched every episode,&most of 'em,more than once,too(ALONG w/Zaks shows on the side in between GA Seasons he did&does,like GA:Aftershocks,Deadly Possessions,GA:Showdown,etc.).Yet when Nick left the show,I was shocked,itd felt,&still feels like the teams not as"whole",kind of thing.Simply put,I miss having Nick on the GA TV Shows,&was surprised when Id seen he no longer was on the show(especially w/being I still don't know why he had left?!?:/),though Like Id said,I really Hoped&Wished that@the Same Time,Nick would still be on Some Of the Episodes throughout the seasons since his leaving GA!

All-in-all,I am glad that Nick is doing this show.its a unique&new strategy w/his Paranormal Investigations that maybe give other private Paranormal Investigation teams/people a new way that might be a new idea they might incorporate@times to try,honestly!

Exeter (2015)

I'll be honest in saying I'd thought the movie had its share of cheesy scenes or lines.Although at the same time it managed to have a good filming quality w/Video Equipment.The actors played their roles great(&for being ones Im not familiar with),to where they did their parts well plus interacted in believable ways.Rather than tacky over rehearsed feeling to when they say their lines,Also following through w/their acting role needs seemingly well,that'd also been done good by the director in telling the actors what they were wanting for the scenes!The "special effects"used weren't bad either,&that'd fit the films story line&plot.It held my attention from the beginning to the end!!Which is a plus in my book as well!I read on IMDb,that there's an Additional scene at the end of the credits.{But on an added note also:alota horror films came out in the 70s,to like early 90s-ish,&used various plots/story lines,&summaries,making them also"All-Time Favorites!",to both Myself+Many Other People/ppl!!On that note,Not to Defend ALL of the Horror films released,it IMO doesn't exactly give much to work with without being somehow familiar,like deja-vu &/or reminds them of a film made already(unless its a re-make).But otherwise its why I give films a chance,not go by ratings &/or reviews,because I might like it,opinion wise everyones is different.I don't regret watching this one as itd definitely wasn't like the way BAD "B-Minus MINUS!"flicks that we have All Seen!}

The East (2013)

I found this to be a real worth while film.I highly recommend you watch it as it'll get your mind thinking,as it did for me...

I really don't have much of any complaints when it comes to the overall films story.Simply put,I was intrigued from the films beginning,throughout the film,to what I thought to be a good ending.I must say though however,that I was expecting more from the Male Leader,played by Alexander Skarsgard.It felt like there should have been more depth to his character & his leadership role-it felt,weak in some way to me.He did do a decent acting job in the film,although,it felt like he was overshadowed either intentionally or unintentionally,by the characters played by Both Ellen Page & Brit Marling. Without giving away spoilers,the movie had me thinking Both:that what they were doing,was an agreeably,&understandable Fight!Yet,at the same time,morality-wise kicks in too,to where your inner turmoil is thinking its the wrong way to go about it.But,yes,as you watch the film,the reasons and plots thicken as you continue into the film.Making it a worthy watch IMO!

Another Kind (2013)

I thought it was rather well made,altho shorter-lengthened film,merely just roughly like 75-80mins long.But,itd really altogether left me wanting to see more!!...

Id honestly really enjoyed this film,&watched it tonight again on Hulu(&honestly also re-watching next on Hulu a Based on True Events/B.O.T.E. film called"Dark Mountain",also a shorter length film,that Id rate the same as well w/6,though wish a more of a 6.5 were possible to choose,though).

Itd been awhile since last watching the films.But,this film left me wishing that they really had a higher"Movie Budget",than just the roughly $120K,Because then they maybe could've had the chance to keep going past the ending,which even in itself,was also good!Even though it was a low budget movie,it doesn't seem like it is by having that tacky video look&quality to it.

They did a well chosen movie concept to do,along w/having some pretty good Actors,who played their character parts well,too!Its definitely like they ALL made the best of it w/what they had to work with!IMHO,they pull it off w/taking advantage of using what they can,&w/the various elements to let your mind also contribute,w/your imagination working w/the movie,per say.Rather than trying to use up the budget$$ to try"amping it up"in some way.Which Im guessing like other low budgets,whod ended up butchering their flick to where the quality pays the price making literally a"B-Minus Movie",&a badly executed movie!

Which is altogether why I also wish there were also a way I could've rated up abit w/choosing more like 6.5 Stars and wish there were more to the movie in the ending,but it was still a good ending &movie for what it is altogether...Although this is my personal opinion,&know everyones is different :)

The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007)

Definitely was individually good w/being Horror,Thriller,&Mystery genres each in this movie...

I really liked how its a totally different form&approach-more like a"Mock-umentary/Documentary"style,where the actors/characters are literally doing great,directed well w/what their parts directions go,adding great in combination w/the movies unveils!I love my various forms of Sci-Fi's,&of course Horror-type movies,they're my Top Favs(although I've seen my fair share of HUGE Movie Flops,even ones w/bigger Movie Budgets)!!

I felt its all around,really great w/the overall movies story line concept.Most horror flicks have the usual things they're known for,like killing,blood guts&gore(not to forget the musics used for added dramatic effect in building up to an event during the movies beginning to end),&so on.Although,@the same time,they can also end up being pretty much another carbon-copy type of thing,or to where its even just flat out predictable,etc.

But this one(without saying any Spoilers),as Id said before,uses a different angle,that to me feels like it also kind of uses the movies characters lines,&also how theyd been directed.Its what made me feel as though it was intentionally done this way,so each viewer interprets the movie using more of there minds thought process.To where I"filled in the blanks",w/the director uses more of the acting,so I come up w/my Own Interpretations&the feelings I get as I watched on,such as horrific pictures in my mind,my heart thumping thrill feeling, shared w/the dramatic,&/or mysteries from things said,described(or in some various parts that are shown,rather than having the "fed to me" of dramatic feelings(rather than through music effects&other traditionally used methods fed pretty much on a plate...Bottom line is everyone has their own opinions,and if you're every in the mood to try,I hope others give this movie a shot w/watching though!!

The Girl Next Door (2007)

Sadly a"Based On True Events"film!WOW!!It really think that all of the actors did do a decent,good job in filming of this example of real-life"Horror"...

To begin with,In My Humble Opinion(IMHO)that being this is a"Based On True Events"(BOTE)movie,I think that as an addition to when it comes to Movie Genres,they should respectfully come up w/it as a Genre type as well,versus only at the closest/best form of saying such,is using Drama,when listing the movies genre types(like all other movies list).Although,Im not sure if Im alone in this idea,or thought??...

Otherwise,this"BOTE"film had actors w/difficult roles to play as characters.I thought theyd all did great work playing their character parts throughout the film,beginning to the end,rather well!I will say even for liking horror flicks as 1 of my Top Favorite genre's,although it was definitely different in watching a movie this horrifying,knowing itd really happened,made it more of a"Horror"to watch because of the reality of it,&can only wonder if that fact also made it"feel"different as a character role to the actors.It Both,captivates you to watch from the beginning,&yet its hard also to keep watching,but you do,as it tears at your heart as well-it did for me!To see this films story told,&yet is just one example of some of the horrible things people have done to others!Especially when it comes to kids,teenagers,even young adults!!Bottom line its a good film made that got the altogether story line across to viewers...

(On a side note,After this movie was made,there was also another film made thats a comedy,w/the same movie title,that I feel like is a faux pas,if not inconsiderate to this movie,IMHO...)

Mine Games (2012)

After reading the movies summary,I thought it had a potentially good chance at being a good flick.Even considering it wasn't a title I'd heard of before,I did consider this to be(& I still do,After watching it),more of the "B- Movie",but noticed it had a decent amount for the budget,which I figured given the genres(Horror,Sci- Fi,Thriller)might make for a decently made movie even w/havin actors I'd really not heard of.

When it came to after watching the actual movie,is another story.It wasn't necessarily bad,I would rate it more between 6to7 Stars,to be fair yet alil generous.I say this because at times,even when I watch a movie,depending on my mood(kinda like taste buds/cravings)it can influence how well I liked it,&what I did or didn't like about it,overall.I know that there's only so much that's already expected when you do movies that are horror in some way,that most people can expect the movie will have happen.Not to give spoilers away,but I will say that ya,like in the summary,strange if not creep you out &/or scary things happened.Some of it is"repetitive"I guess is the closest word that I can think of,but does lead you to more of what happens,all through the film to the ending.I will say that given the roughly $1.5M budget,I feel like it was money they could've done more to have made the movie better with all of the resources they might've taken advantage of.That is IMHO,anyways.

Otherwise w/all that said,I hope you give this movie a try(I know as of current,&noticed for awhile too,this is also avail. on Netflix if ya have it...),everyone's opinions and tastes are different!!

The Congress (2013)

!st,to me,this Films Title,&Cover Pic is misleading in what to expect....

I seen that it was a Sci-Fi film,which is a genre that I enjoy(along with it's many combined sub-genres like Dystopian,Post- Apocalypse,Future,Colonization,etc.),that's often combined w/mystery,thriller,or even fantasy for a brief examples.I read the few sentence movie summary on Amazon,&thought I'd see what I thought of it,being there really seems like I'm finding few films of the kinds I also like to read in ebooks,too.I did watch the flick the whole way through,even though roughly once it had hit the Animation part roughly half way through.It made the movie less and less interesting,more like a drug induced look to the form of animation in it.Which it both made me think that it stole from the movies actual potential for being better,IMHO.Along with the fact that I kept me saying to myself the times we too have sat there thinking in a almost Mantra-like thought(&wish...),"This has to be getting better soon!!This has to be getting better soon!!" Yet by the time this film to me,just,ended.All I could think was,no,it didn't get better,And regretted even the rental fee it'd cost me!Sad but true,LOL!

Granted,if Id have also looked on IMDb,&seen they have this listed also as Animation,&Drama w/this movies genres.It wouldn't have deterred me from trying it,because the summary I read seemed like it would be a decent movie.But,with my likes,&opinions being different from others,which also means w/out giving up spoilers,unless you watch it,you either agree or disagree w/me.My overall thoughts of this movie was that it had potential to be better in the right hands,being the story had some good ideas there and in a lot of places I would have strongly done changes,to have the mix of some animation flow,intermix more-so,to interact better...Just my thoughts,anyhow!!...

The Other Side of the Door (2016)

I was entertained from the start,&on into the ending honestly;).Granted being w/this growing popularly seen mix of genres(ie-Drama,Thriller,&Horror),I was drawn to it in honesty due to enjoying my horror&sci-fi type of flicks.I have seen as mentioned before,better,&worse-if not terribly done flicks,LOL!But this wasn't bad,although I will say that once you've watched it,you may agree in my saying that I wished the film was more in depth w/some points,along w/that I thought it would Also add length that I wished it had,&did have the potential to,to also make it better all around,¬ quite rushed together,IMHO-In My Humble Opinion!

Its of course started w/a couple who decides to stay abroad,&raise their newly beginning family,along w/his business gives him that freedom to.Hence where the story line of the movie,develops from w/this decision.As the movie progresses you see the locals abroad,&the family carry on,until disaster strikes them.Rendering the mother as expected,withdrawn more&more,even from her family who is there still.

So.Without giving away spoilers.As we all in fact have come to learn from studies,different yet find factual,& taught even in currently to keep in the know,& that even just about every country,along w/different locations throughout.

The mother learns of a legend,not far from where they live.Despite the situations,she doesn't want to pass the opportunity up,no matter what,Plus even knowing that if done wrong,the consequences are evil&dangerous.That said,Even in our own smaller townships,locals tend to know of,&even pass down the local stories,superstitions,or legends and so forth.Some vary from Evil &/or Bad,to Good or Fantasy-likenesses.But most are either hard to accomplish,have rules to follow&stick to,otherwise dire believes of consequences &/or even punishments will happen.

In the film there is so many parts they could have done more when it comes to history that's brought them to the present w/their local "Legend" that's still cautiously used,etc.In the movie,it leads you to where the mother pursues this legend.But,it goes awry as well.I admit that some things at this point of the flick Id expected,but it does continue on.Admittedly in the end it leads off to where you can maybe see the potential for a sequel maybe leaving off or looking also,into the legend...It wasn't a bad movie to me as I said,and think that its worth watching to see if you enjoyed its overall story line too!!!

Man Vs. (2015)

IMHO:This film altogether was done good,&to where I urge others watch it!

I was overall,thoroughly impressed with the acting done in this film!Of course,especially done by it's main male character "the survivalist",along with the other characters.I was drawn into the movie from the very beginning & throughout.It definitely held my attention to where even though it's a "footage/found footage" type of movie,I was finding myself not disappointed,aside for wishing it was longer,LOL!I never seem to tire of any of the genres I tend to enjoy,more often than others-but that's just my personal taste;)

Although,without giving away any spoilers,the films main Survivalist character has you there w/him,doing the "One-Manned" type TV Survival Show.Through his troubles and triumphs,incorporating his techniques in this Man vs. Wild "supposed" scenario that starts to change to Man vs. Wild vs. Mysteriously Unknown,that comes into play.Hence why I wish there could've been more added to this movie,And in SO Many ways:),and is also why I would recommend this movie!

Even though its not a highly advertised film,nor is it I'm guessing,a "High Budgeted movie" w/making.Like it,SO Many that are Now being made,TBH,yet also well known,it gets the stigma also,as being a B- sadly like other good flicks also therefore get the "STIGMA" of being not good or worth watching!!

Am I wrong??When a movies made,and lacking:the publicity,well- known/popular actors,Big Budgets,High Theater Releasing-if not a decent # of,etc.The films tend to get referred to as "B-",awful,&to where it just goes from there!(Yet,on the opposite of all that,how many Big Budget,w/Big Named Acting,etc.,flopped?)I bring this up firstly due to the fact I wish there were a better rating system than Blockbusters,the dime a dozen B- movies,and have just a general"3 or 10 Star"rating system,that leaves no differentiating system between the generalized 2 Types of films made & released...

When I'd decided to watch this film,it was hard for me to simply rate it 7 Stars,to be honest,LOL!Plus,like many others I've watched,liked or didn't't,not being based on the site ratings,&even w/the fact that I'd never heard of it either!It turned out to have a good story line,the acting was also great!Especially since I have seen other films I'd stumbled across on this site,but had even lower Star ratings accounted for,but the movies,summed up,were actually not bad as I was expecting based on both ratings&members who'd left reviews.Yet others w,similar ratings accounted for&reviews,were in fact IMO like others,the move was rather bad or just couldn't finish,because even the story lines were terrible!!

Midnight Special (2016)

Don't let the title through you off,because it is rather really a good movie!

I was kinda thrown-off a bit by the films title,to be honest,which is why I openly say that in my summary.I will say that the film does have me wonder if its based off of a book,if so,I would love to see the differences or changes in the overall storyline told and seen in the film!!I also would say that there is almost a whole possibility of maybe at least a second film done that explores this in so many ways,especially from the ending part of the movie.I think either way,this movie held my attention beginning to end,overall pretty well.I know that there's some scenes that seemed like they could have "summed them up' to less scenes since watching the movie and looking back,you get the gist of the scenario,to where when I look back,seems drawn out typa thing in the movies first half or so.Not to give any spoilers away,it doesn't steal away or anything from the entirety of the film.I will say that it would be kinda interesting to have a sequel done,though :)

For starters it was hard for me to rate this movie fairly,and was stuck between 5.5-6/10...But IMHO(In My Humble Opinion),of course!!I felt really like this film was drawn out,with All the scenes&just the movie itself!

I was confused to see it's Genres:Horror,&Thriller 0_o!It seemed to be more Drama,&maybe something like Mystery"?",IDK...I know of course with Horrors&Thrillers you think of course:blood,guts,killing, gore,etc.I love the genres,along w/Sci-Fi,I do find this flick to be another"B- Movie",per say.

So,if you are looking to kill a couple hrs on a rental,this isn't a totally bad flick to watch!The acting isn't bad @all,&the general movie story-line isn't a bad one either!

Open Grave (2013)

Definitely a new twist to enjoy watching.....

I was thoroughly grateful for this new twist for its genre!! To not add it to the generalized "time & time again" type of film genre that's been made yet again.It's of course common of all the genre's(&their accompanied sub-genre's)of films being,&have been made,although in my opinion it's especially more commonly seen when it comes to the Horror-Mystery Thriller movies(even if you include Sci-Fi into the mix w/havin the same mentioned sub-genre's),&even when it comes to also the movies generalized,like this one,as a"B- Minus"film.I was intrigued when I'd read the movies summary,&hadn't ever heard of it either until I happened to stumble upon it here(like I do w/Many other movies as well),so I gave it a chance,&am really glad I did!!

Not only am I Grateful the director,producer,writer,&so forth,had come up with a different overall direction on the movies concept,&in a good way!Plus the actors may be ones I've at least never heard of before,but they All did their parts awesome,to where that all involved had pulled together an excellent movie to watch!!

I admit that I was expecting to possibly chalk it up as either: yet another "B-Minus Movie" where *Yawn*I'm bored,or 5 minutes into a film & you can already tell its a Big Flop,or even is somewhat decent yet is maybe even predictable...We have all been there,& have seen these types of movies to where even you find yourself watching a flick thinking over & over "Maybe it'll get better soon...maybe it'll get better soon...",but didn't because next thing ya know it over,or it's just that bad you don't even bother to finish the movie.I've definitely had my fill of badly executed(literally)films where if in the right hands &maybe budget also was higher,it'd have a better overall rating w/reviews too,because the summary and story line of the film is a good one,buts sadly made.

All that being said,I hope my reviews of some help without giving away any spoilers,&that others give it a try!!!

The Curse of Downers Grove (2015)

I did really enjoy this film altogether...But,yet summed up,I'm not quite sure it fits general "criteria" for calling it a part of the Horror Genre type of a flick

Firstly,I do my best to Not give any spoilers away yet not label it as possibly havin any "Spoilers",so I stick to not saying much more than the film description.I ALSO used the terms "summed up",to kind of indirectly give others the general gist(in my opinion)of just a portion said by Steve Pulaski,in the review,that was a rather long one.But he made a valid point of whether or not this film is to be "labeled" as a Horror movie,rather than just a Mystery Thriller Drama.It was really the only thing I either missed,or that in my opinion it didn't meet the Horror.I will say that we all have our opinions also of what Horror film "guidelines"they should at least meet,&also at least a minimal that makes'em Horror flicks-good or bad when it comes down to movie making&how well the horror parts were as well.

Although,Throughout this whole movie it definitely was not bad,And the actors did rather good as well,too!When I'd read the description & thought it potentially seemed to be a good movie.I wasn't entirely disappointed in thinking while watching the film had a good story line,it was well done movie,not all over the place but flowed rather well.I did really find it to be entertaining to watch!

That all being said without giving anything away,I do hope other give this a try,as everyone's opinion is different.You may agree with me,or not,but I hope you watch and enjoy it at least alittle too!!

In reading your review,you say both that you rather enjoyed the film,as well as mentioning to others that it was also made on a low budget- but I liked that you in no way held that against the films overall story line! I believe that it's often misleading to people,that if the films are made without any well-known movie companies & were also done on a low budget,that they must not be good in comparison to big company&budget backing.I find this untrue w/a lot of movies,where the various genres of films that were in fact low budget,etc.

But their story lines were in fact very good ones.Even when the overall rating for the films,were also rated low.Along w/user reviews saying the movie was not worth making,due to the quality either isn't done 1st class or that possibly the acting wasn't good.I don't usually go by the reviews,as everyone has a different opinion,of course.I'll admit that some films I've seen,have in fact not been done the greatest,though felt that if the movie was executed a bit better it'd help immensely,because I felt the general movie "idea" being told had been great.

Admittedly,I do even at times wish that some movies could've been better,if they did have the bigger backing.I know there has been movies that have had the double digit million dollar backing,yet only make back a fraction of that,half if they're lucky.But whether the films are made with low or on million dollar budgets,they equally can end up being great,or flops...

I have been hoping to find Any Way or ANYONE who can PLEEASE possibly help me be able to also watch this film too??Let alone I have also come acrossed Many various films that I can't in any way find and am hopeful that there's some way that maybe somebody can help me also be able to find these films that are listed here on IMDb's site,yet have no listing of where to try as a choice of available website options they'll "list options",for people to watch the films too.Though,they also have these films listed,yet have both:no "list options" of websites to watch these films,so I add them to my "Watch List" in order to also keep track of films I'd like to see&will periodically check if later there's available websites they list,OR the other thing that'd happen when i try adding them to my Watch List yet it'll say its not available/no longer available so I can add to my list.Yet IMDb will keep these various films And their descriptions listed...So,I know it is a site for listings of films,etc,listed & optional sites that you can choose from to watch.But when I come acrossed movies With recent posted reviews of the movie,but then there is no listing of a way to watch them as the recent posted reviews by members who'd watched the movie,some how or somewhere....:/ I appologize for writing so much,but am just merely a member thats hopeful that someone may have knowledge of how I can maybe find these various films like this one,&have a chance to also hopefully enjoy seeing the films too.I would appreciate any form of help &/or ways to find the mysteriously movies unavailable to find and watch.
