Hawkeye (2021)
Finally a Marvel Series not just for Marvel Fans
Disney+ have finally done it. They've finally made a Marvel series that I watched to the end.
Wandavision was too weird. The Winter Soldier was just plain terrible, Loki was okay (I just couldn't get into it, will probably try again) but Hawkeye was practically perfect in every way.
It kept enough Marvel references to keep the fans happy, but balanced it with new characters, an engaging story an enough action to keep me engaged and entertained.
Attack of the Hollywood Clichés! (2021)
Not for movie buffs
If you're a hardcore fan of films you probably already know all these clichés exist. Sure, I learned a bit of history, but I lost interest after about half an hour.
A lot of the talking heads also were irritating as they try to convince the audience that all of the problems in society, from racism to gay rights to women's fight for equality is all the fault of the film industry.
WandaVision (2021)
Absolute mess
I cannot fathom all the good reviews for this series. Sure the production and acting is great; that's where it ends.
It starts out as a comedy, then turns into a Superhero geek fest and then ends as pointlessly as it began.
John Mellencamp: Plain Spoken Live from The Chicago Theatre (2018)
Less Rock, more talk
Irritating editing leads to a film that is part rock show with someone speaking over the songs, and part interview with music disrupting the conversation.
Final Score (2018)
Not a beautiful game
Far fetched, poorly written, terrible acting, has more plot holes than Upton Park has pot holes. If I wasn't a West Ham fan this would have scored a 1.
Alias Grace (2017)
May cause boredom
The greatest mystery of Alias Grace is whether you can endure the boredom in order to make it to the end.
Although, there is a sense of a fantastic series buried in the cracks, I found myself at times wishing they would just get to the punch.
