Likes: Splitting hairs, being intolerant, berating idiots, hypocrites, racists, fascist and most of the ists (apart from cynicists...I have a sneaking admiration for them.) And smartarses. Gotta love those guys and their clever sphincters!
Defying expectation, smashing taboos. And comfy slippers.
Dislikes: intolerance in others, bigotry, ignorance, Paris Hilton, horror movies with no nudity, hypocrisy (except in myself where it's endearingly ambiguous), Glenn Close's mouth (scary), Kevin Costner's hair (it has no purpose), Kevin Spacey's girlfriend (ditto), Keira Knightley's bra (ditto), Welsh TV, Welsh TV scheduling, Welsh TV adverts, Welsh TV presenters. And Noel Edmond's shirts.
Rant over. Feel better now.

Comedy Gift that Keeps on Giving!
Possibly as perfect a sitcom half hour as British TV has experienced since the halcyon days of Blackadder and Fawlty Towers.
With Andy's sitcom becoming more pitiful so the plaudits start to come in; in this case, a BAFTA nomination. Beginning with a beautifully played pastiche of the Pretty Woman boutique scene as Maggie attempts to buy a red carpet dress, the day degenerates as Andy's attempts at credibility and dignity - with agent and Maggie in tow - are inevitably doomed to failure.
The denouement with Ronnie Corbett in a toilet cubical sets the postmodern seal on a landmark TV comedy series. This episode features too many priceless moments to mention, but the sight of Moira Stewart being frisked and Chris Martin wanting to rush home for Gwyneth's drumsticks are truly priceless!
