Niall Matter ruins show
16 February 2023
Could not concentrate on this film because of Niall Matter's black beard and long greasy hair. Does he really think he looks good this way? He is not a handsome leading man to begin with, but this "new" look makes him look like a joke. I have avoided subsequent Niall Matter films because I can't stand to look at him.

I also think this plot is ridiculous. A bad way to end this usually enjoyable Aurora Teagarden series. To me, the two daughters were the only entertaining characters in the entire show.

Finally, why are we required to write such long reviews on this site? To fill space, I repeat how awful Niall Matter looks.

Celeste Holm
4 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The best part of this episode is Celeste Holm, who should have been given a MUCH bigger role. She is by far the best actor in the story compared to all the others, especially whoever played Diana's husband. Wish we had seen much more of Celeste Holm.

The beginning held my attention because I didn't know for sure if Diana was getting married or not. I thought not, but didn't know until later in the episode. Also interesting to hear Henry Darrow speaking without an accent.

Wish IMBD did not require so many words in these reviews because I've said all that is necessary but must keep adding words to get my review accepted.

Ending is Not Believable.
24 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Gunfight at very end is unrealistic. Car in which Danny and Pride are hiding is peppered by gunfire, full of bullet holes. Yet not one bullet hits Danny or Pride? Unreal and way too much overacting.

Selfish Kids

Foolish episode portraying selfishness of Bud and Kathy when a baby stays overnight, and they don't get all the attention. Bud is especially overbearing and self-centered.

Good Episode
21 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This and the very first episode are among my favorites. The earlier black & white shows are quite well-done and better than later ones that seem to be aimed at children.

My only question is why Clark Kent, without his eyeglasses, was not immediately recognized as Superman?

Surprise Ending!
20 August 2022
This is one of my favorite episodes.

Mildred Natwick, David Birney and Richard Deacon are very good. I'm glad Sally is not seen much as she is my least favorite character in this series.

Ending caught me by surprise!

Annoying Teenage Star
5 August 2022
This was an interesting episode except for the obnoxious teenager who played Dobie. Did Gunsmoke producers purposely choose the homeliest young actors to be in these programs? Dobie's character was not believable and poorly acted.

Too much of a whining Dobie and not enough of Matt Dillon in this episode.

Unrealistic
27 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Interesting story but almost laughable. No way Tommy Sands could survive the blizzard without even a hat or John McIntire, wounded and almost dead, could drag himself down the snow covered mountain. Not believable!

Peter Falk had a difficult choice. Cannot blame him for whatever decision he made.

Stupid
26 July 2022
Since when did "Gunsmoke" become a so-called comedy? This episode is dreadful, even worse than "Bonanza" supposed comedies. Terrible acting and story. Hard to believe this is from the "Gunsmoke" series. I suggest you don't waste your time on this.

What about the dog?
25 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't know this is the first Cheyenne episode when I watched it. I thought it very good, and it held my interest. But what happened to the dog when his master is killed? I expected James Garner and his fiancee to take the dog, but nothing was shown in the episode.

Homely Kid
25 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't realize Eddie Hodges plays Billy in this episode. I wondered why such a homely kid was cast in the role. As others have commented, he was too old. Looked like a short adult playing a little boy. Not believable, and he lost the cuteness of his youth. Story is OK except final scene. Don't know why Billy was so cheerful about going back to boarding school.

Holds My Interest
22 July 2022
I watched this program for the first time tonight. Had never even heard of the series before. I enjoyed it and am sorry to learn 2022 is its last season. The show caught my interest although Bull seems totally unrealistic in his easy ability to accomplish things, especially winning at blackjack. To me, the show is a comedy in some ways, but this is the only episode I've ever seen. Am going to try to watch remaining reruns this season.

Interesting Guest Stars

Fun to see so many former TV police officers together. Only Martin Milner looks the worse for wear. Several former "good guys" are the "bad guys" in this one.

James Arness Did Not Age Well

Matt Dillon is too old and ugly to be in this film. Only his name is the same. Nothing else about the Matt Dillon character seems remotely the same as the original Dillon.

Stupid!
24 May 2022
This is the worst "Diagnosis Murder" episode I've ever seen. In my opinion it was just stupid. Terrible acting. Were the two policewomen trying to be funny or what? A bad version of "Cagney & Lacey." I am glad this was never picked up as a spin-off series.

Very Funny
4 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I never watched "Frasier" when it was first run but discovered reruns a few years ago. Laugh out loud in every episode.

Acting is very good although some characters are overbearing - especially Bebe the talent agent and Daphne's brother Simon. I also don't know what Daphne sees in effeminate, pipsqueak Niles. She treats ex-fiancé Donny very shabbily. Also don't know what Ronee sees in grungy old Martin.

Eddie the dog is my favorite character. Bebe is my least favorite. A very funny program.

New to Me
4 February 2022
I recently discovered reruns on Hallmark Channel. Never heard of the program before now. Am enjoying watching episodes for the first time but not so much a second time.

Favorite character is Barbra Jean - heart of gold. Least favorite is Van - stupid and selfish.

My Favorite
22 January 2022
This is my favorite Quincy episode. Don't agree with negative reviews. Wish this had become a series of its own.

I like Dr. Hiro better than Dr. Quincy. Hiro reminds me of Charlie Chan!

Hiro spends most of his time doing his job at the hospital whereas Quincy is always running around town, neglecting his job. Hiro only left hospital once and that was to search a house for poisonous substances.

Actor who portrayed Dr. Hiro was very good. Did not miss Dr. Quincy although I generally like him.
