The Pantry Ghost Documentary (2013)
Bad script Good effects
Speaking for myself I know for a fact spirits of some kind exist from tons of experiences and I have The most clear ,detailed picture proof of it as well.
That said...
I just can't believe this since the script just has too many flaws, I don't even have to name them, if you've seen it you'll know. Amazing effects though, that actually scared me pretty good. So I'll give it an A for effort and a 5 for a somewhat decent horror movie.
Take Me (2017)
Surprisingly good
That nice surprise that comes along once in awhile with movies, when you really have no expectations.
I enjoyed this from start to finish, it was a fun and different topic, great acting and it really shows how simplicity can be just as good...or better, than full blown multi million dollar action.
Got major Alicia Silverstone vibes from Taylor btw (or I'm getting Taylor Schilling vibes from Alicia) and I really like it!
Highly recommend this little gem.
Wounds (2019)
I give this movie one out of infinite cockroaches
If you're a huge CGI cockroach fan, well this movie is for you. If you're not it makes just as little sense to watch it as the whole movie did it self...
Si no t'hagués conegut (2018)
Just Epic!
I found myself procrastinate watching the final episode because I just didn't want this epic story to end. But then again, in another universe I've just started watching it...
That Love is Life and Life is Love was something I already knew, but my tears fell in that final scene as a beautiful reminder. Don't miss out on this rare gem!
Cidade Invisível (2021)
I'm in Awe!
So happily surprised and I absolutely Love this show! It got everything I want and then some more. Great acting (beautiful man in the lead), mysterious and exciting storyline and just the intro is so mesmerizing that I never skip it. A definite binge watch!
The Girl on the Train (2016)
Two words: The Acting!
I'm almost out of words, taken by the outstanding acting by Emily Blunt. Being a Swede I'm always proud of Rebecca Ferguson. Haley Bennett is worth her weight in gold too. So big creds for the casting!
It's a really good drama thriller, don't get the comments at all about it being poorly written.
But then again it was the acting that totally floored me (in the best way!)
Sick Note (2017)
Third season where are you?!?
Can't get enough of Rupert and Nick, what a team. I don't often laugh out loud, but found myself doing so numerous times.
But Hey, what's with the abrupt ending with so much more to find out???
That's the only disappointment, so my 10 became a 9. Please and Pretty Please another season ASAP!!!
Dark (2017)
A light in the dark!
The casting to this show should be written in the history books of the future...and the past... Absolutely outstanding in every way. And what a story on top of that, so well executed, thought through and thrilling. Just when you think it can't get more mind blowing it puts in yet another gear. The atmosphere has had a grip on me from start to finish (or finish to start, who knows?) This was a true light in the winters dark!
Hillbilly Elegy (2020)
Underrated!
Outstanding acting and such a touching, good story. Really can't see why anybody would give this below a seven. This movie just made a totally perfect Sunday evening.
Call Me by Your Name (2017)
Molto buono
Summer as I remember it... lazy sunny days, going swimming, lay in the cool grass reading, a bikeride with the wind in the hair, air laden of flower aroma... And then suddenly; that forbidden love which made everything so incredibly exciting, although through many hot sleepless nights, as it took life to this whole new level... Besides my nostalgia the acting was absolutely superb, in gorgeous surroundings and genuine atmosphere. I really enjoyed it!
I Am Mother (2019)
I Am Surprised...
Didn't expect the depth of this movie. Some interesting twists to ponder, with it's sort of biblical parables. And pay attention to the beginning to fully appreciate the ending...
