Enjoyed This Movie Very Much

Yeah, it was totally predictable and schmaltzy. I asked if it was a Lifetime movie more than once. Unfortunately they did not do enough research. The reality shows that showcase songwriters take complete ownership of any and all songs submitted. Sleazy deal? "Send us a demo of your best songs and if we like them we'll screw you out of them". But delusional musicians go for it to get their 5 minutes of exposure. I looked at one of the contracts and said "No Freakin' Way!"

Good story, good music. What more do you want?

3022 and they're using 1980s circuit boards?

Not a bad movie but I got a laugh when they showed the captain examining a huge circuit board that had discreet components, transistors, resistors, and a transformer?!?!

Electronic boards we use today are 1/10 the size with most discrete parts smaller than a grain of rice. At least the board didn't have vacuum tubes.

Not a happy time flick.

OK, there are reviews of this movie here calling it the worst movie ever. I disagree. It actually wasn't bad. Not Bruce's best work but still entertaining. The inconsistencies were not glaring and if you even notice them you're looking for something to complain about.

Teaching a child to handle a gun: this is the part I had a problem with. A few minutes and saying "safety-safety-safety" doesn't do the job.
