The Rifleman: The Vision (1960)
Weird and not so good episode
Just a strange episope, its like they were trying to make it suck. Well the accomplished that and then some. Probably the worst episode made.
The Silence (2019)
Ha ha ha ha, don't waste your time.
What the heck os this garbage? I'm trying to watch through the recycled polystyrene actors cardboard cutout bullcrap when a guy going 20 mph rolls his rig down a little hill like he was going 80 and the hill was a mountain. This ain't Tiger Woods Genesis accident. Utter garbage. Made for tv movie because no one watches tv anymore.
In a Valley of Violence (2016)
Humorous and a little bloody.
I think many of the low rated reviews fail to take into account that this is not a serious movie, get over yourselves. You are not going to get a job reviewing movies for any of the Main Stream Fake Media outlets, especially if you take this movie literally. If you cannot see that, it is right in your face, then you cannot see anything requiring an actual critic to create a dialog with the subtle artistic values that movies contain.
Sealab 2021: Waking Quinn (2001)
Trippy
I have watched up until this episode and was about to give up when this episode came up and man, I'm blown away by how trippy it is. Disclaimer: currently microdosing psilocybin at this time!
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Great mix of subtle humor and zombies.
Wonderful cast of stars and a simple and funny way to pass the time. The humor is subtle and you have to have a good sense of humor to enjoy it. It is obvious that the low ratings are without a doubt liberals because if anything, they have shown their complete lack of understanding simple humor or sarcasm these past four years. Trump 2020 you morons!
What Keeps You Alive (2018)
Ha, ha ,ha. Great comedy.
Comedy you ask, why yes because the film is a complete joke! Row out in the lake with no life jackets, shooting a rifle with no ear pro, then butch jams the muzzle in the dirt and twists it around, gives it to the hot broad who takes it and obviously never shot a firearm in her life by the ridiculous way she was holding it. Lucky they weren't shooting bullets or the rifle would have exploded. The best part though was when the hottie pushed butch of the cliff!
The Room (2019)
Don't trust the bad reviews!
All's I'm going to say is watch it and enjoy it. It really is a good movie and doesn't deserve the low reviews from wannabe movie critics.
Outer Banks (2020)
Ubsurd
Poor little white kids in their twenties drinking and driving, pointing a handgun at everyone, living in a house on the water (which costs a lot of money), no money, threatened with foster care, 1 keg of beer for a hundred kids, hits the sunken boat, which is then somehow in very deep water, which is in the marsh where there is no deep water. What a bunch of bull!
Should have been a comedy because it's a damn joke!
The Witcher (2019)
Absolute Rubbish
How this garbage is rated higher than a 3 at most, is beyond me. It is as if they planned to make it this bad.
Higher Power (2018)
Whaaaa whaaa
Why am I herrreee, why are you doing this to meee,I don't wanna do thissss, whaaa, whaaa, and so on and so forth. Three thumbs down.
The Survivalist (2015)
Ignorance is bliss?
+1
SPOILER ALERT (not really an alert as there is nothing to "spoil", but hey...)
This film can be most positively described as torpid, cinematic drivel. There is no plot (none worth noting) and no real acting, but there are many well filmed shot of the woods, so it gets two stars for cinematography. The costuming and scene sets are laughable. I want Fingleton's brand of laundry detergent, such white pillowcases... lovely.
The main character is an uninteresting, incompetent bungler who has been lucky enough to last seven years alone in a post-apocalyptic woods without being killed. He isn't a "survivalist" at all and has no defensive skills, rather he blunders about without much of a plan tending to a child's garden which could never support him (designed by people who don't know what a subsistence garden looks like), regularly leaves himself completely undefended (2 shells are nothing), never attempts to find or construct new weaponry or build any sort of defences apart from cans on a string (7 years and he can't make a single spear or trap). He's only alive because he hides.
There's hardly any dialogue, which is probably a mercy as there is no real plot; it's all about maudy looks and Fingleton has just one expression, the face of a frightened weasel. (Credit where due, Goth has mentally challenged and bored down pat, what range.) No one is attractive, but they all have good bodies. Perhaps that is realistic in an apocalyptic world, but it's so a la mode to "fix" actors with unattractive faces by sending them to the gym, that it grates. I realise that apparently faces are irrelevant these days because audiences find any actor with a well muscled bodies attractive, but they should be able to actually act; of course without lines or a plot, what can one do? When the other "bad guys" finally catch the "survived for a bit by hidingist" for dinner it's a great relief; at least he finally has a purpose. Its a pity they missed Goth and the script writer...
Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party (2016)
You can't handle the truth!
Hillary's America shows the history of the Democrat party which is pretty much the opposite of how they wish themselves to be seen today. The constant bombardment of lies for the past few decades has caused a reversal of the facts, especially in the minds of the younger generations that did not have the benefit of living though the periods of civil unrest or have been taught history in democrat controlled schools with liberal administration and extremely biased educational material. It seems as if the truth has been skewed or right out removed from the history books, and/or liberal run websites. All of you democrat's have to do the research for yourselves and stop blindly following these sick, demented, twisted people who wish to control every aspect of your lives!
"You want the truth, you can't handle the truth!"
The Night Of (2016)
I did not care for it.
Let me just post what others have said as I barely made it through episode 1 with out changing my mind to watch clouds pass by instead.
Louis
I turned this ridiculous show off after 5 minutes. It has about as much to do with NYC characters as the man in the moon. Take me to the beach? Give me a break. Richard Price was once capable of writing gritty naturalistic tales. Now he writes a cock-and-bull story that has mesmerized the critics. The emperor has no clothes.
Ed
Louis, you know how I feel about not giving films/shows a chance before railing against them. That said, I've already seen the first two episodes of the miniseries and I can't say that I disagree. But if something feels "off" about its portrait of not just NYC characters, but NYC life in general, it's because there's a sense that the story, so blatantly capitalizing on this true-crime fad that's sweeping pop culture, has been rigged from top to bottom to score very easy points against a roll-call of capital-I issues, mainly the corrupt legal system. I'm going to stay with it to the end, and hope it redeems itself. Digging Riz Ahmed's performance, though.
Jeff
After two episodes, I'm not inclined to keep going. Slow, clichéd, on-the-nose. The HBO brand means Oscar-caliber direction and cinematography. But the script from Richard Price is a plodding disappointment.
Pay the Ghost (2015)
Keep moving. Nothing to see here.
I can't believe I watched the whole movie. What's wrong with me? But seriously folks, this is one lame flick.
OK, I understand that this is a ghost story or kinda horror film and that when paranormal or otherworldly creatures are involved, you can not really expect a movie that is close to truth and reality... But some scenes which are or should be realistic are just laughable! I did get a couple starts toward the end, but it was a complete waste of time. Thankfully i've nothing better to do.
Regards,
Ricardo
A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014)
Hilarious!!
This was a very good deadpan downright hilarious movie and if you watch it you will see this is not childish humor as some suggest, it is just a little over their heads. I found myself laughing at several point in this movie and as they say,"Laughter is the best medicine," and I felt great after watching this. You will know fairly quickly if this isn't your cup of tea. If you have ever seen HBO's Eastbound & Down, that is what I consider very poor taste with stupid childish humor and unwatchable, not this little gem. Along with some good shots of the landscape, the movie itself rolls along fairly quickly and did not have a dull moment. So give it a try you just may be surprised!
The 100 (2014)
Unbelievable ( No, Really! )
The premise for the movie is fairly good, but the sheer number of ludicrous actions and fallacies involving anything from fighting and hugging people while tripping on nuts, to grabbing a tiny 556mm round and stabbing a guy in the neck with it, etc... There are so many things wrong with every part of each episode that it just cannot hold up to any form of logic whatsoever. The people giving this show good ratings must have never read a book(non-fiction), read a newspaper, or went to school. They can have no understanding or even the slightest concept of what common sense is or means. I cannot believe this made into actual production. This is obviously aimed at the "New Society" created by Hollywood and the political left, i.e. a bunch of poverty stricken, dumber than a box of rocks, illiterate but somehow registered democrat voters. It is not even the slightest bit realistic! How is this happening?
Hammer of the Gods (2013)
Well worth the watch!
I have know idea why there are so many negative reviews of this movie. I found it to be very entertaining. I was not looking for a history lesson, and things did not need to be historically accurate. The movie was suspenseful and had a horror flick feel to it. If you want historically correct films of vikings then watch public broadcasting or go to the library. Anyone who gives this movie a bad rating because it is not "Correct," should have not been able to submit a review, because of their anal-retentiveness! If you read my, and others reviews, who have given this movie a good rating then watch it for its entertainment value and not to nit-pick it for perfect historically correctness!
Killing Season (2013)
You have got to be kidding me
I quit watching at 8 minutes and 39 seconds because when I started watching this movie then saw the goofy looking Travota, who just makes my skin crawl, then out comes De Niro walking in the woods, finds some Elk hair bunched up in a tree branch, just like someone crammed it in there, not an elk. He then makes an elaborate blind from branches and pine boughs in a matter of minutes right out in the open. No sooner than he crawls inside two majestic Elk top the ridge in front of him as he gets his camera out. The Elk start to spar until De Niro winces in pain from a, more than likely, war wound sending the Elk running off. I had it, no more of this fake everything. Travolta can't act to save his life and De Niro has given up even trying to act. Put that together with the over the top obvious fake everything and I guess someone had money to just trow away, because that's what happened here with the train wreck at the beginning of the movie. Wow!!!!
