Aquamarine (2006)
I saw it for my birthday!
:) I loved this movie. I especially wanted to see it because my favorite color IS aquamarine. I didn't expect it to be as funny, though. That was a good surprise. Like my sister said though, who'd have ever guessed so many KIDS would be there? It seemed as if this one girl had her own birthday party with all ten-twenty of her friends. But I highly recommend it to any who still have a little bit of imagination left. All I can say now is: *Disney would be proud.* Come to think of it, it seems like a plot they would consider in the long run. Anyway, I loved how clean and blue their water looked. Not at all how it looks here in Louisiana, but still... It was an excellent movie, and I give it 10/10!
Prison of Secrets (1997)
This happens to be one of my favorite movies.
This movie was based on a true story, so it was supposed to be rather accurate. However, I realize that some details were probably jazzed up a little bit. This movie revealed some of the terrible things that can and DO happen in places that are supposedly secure and trustworthy. It just goes to show that some people are less honest and sometimes dangerous. I thought the female guard, Sheila, had a lot of charisma. She really risked a lot to help Lynn, but in the end she helped to stop one of the worst criminal circumstances in our nation. I liked how Lynn took it upon herself to help others inside the female prison, or at least tried to help. It shows that she really cared about the safety of these women and that is saying something for her.
