I've also also written a historical novel which's been published November 2019, named "Conduct Code: Valdemar".
My goal is to successfully become a screenwriter and is currently building his body of work as both a director and a writer.

Hold Me Tight (2021)
Originality and boldness
Probably the most original portrayal of sexual pleasure I've ever seen in an animation. Everything is in concert with the film's two lovers. The world is pleasure and they are the world. To be fair, this is not a subject that gets explored very often in the medium, so hats off to Mélanie and her entire team.
Pedro e Inês (2018)
More of this!! Enough with the cheap comedy style.
The legend of Pedro and Inês de Castro, known by all of the Portuguese is brought to the big screen in a lattice of three different realities that involve past, present and future.
Adapted from the novel "A trança de Inês", passed in three alternate realities, particularly in the middle ages where the original story happened, then it occurs on our present, in which Pedro (Diogo Amaral) and Inês (Joana de Verona) are prestigious architects and also in a future where people have abandoned the city and adopted a life in the forest in order to survive.
The narration of Pedro and your story during the entire movie sounds like a prose poem, because it has a reflection of events without having to explain its details. The audience does accompany in a conventional footage, almost theatrical, but stylized in a magnificent way by António Ferreira (Director of the movie), immortalized, by his art and photography. These details are important because all the three scenarios are clean, dust-free, as if all three were happening in fact as Pedro imagine, not with the separation of centuries, but in parallel.
All 3, Diogo Amaral, Joana de Verona and Vera Kolodzig do a wonderful job in this movie! I think we need to see more of this dedication on our Portuguese cinema.
The music of Luís Pedro Madeira contributes significantly to the quality of the movie, as well as the remaining technical details of photography, scenery and wardrobe.
The cast also includes names like Miguel Borges, João Lagarto, Custódia Gallego, Cristóvão Campos (who also does a great job, being in my opinion the best side character of the movie) & Nuno Nolasco.
Overall "Pedro e Inês" is an exciting movie that raises the quality of the national Portuguese cinema, aimed at history fans or tragic novels lovers.
It is extremely important that Portugal do more of this, enough with the cheap same old comedy typical Portuguese movie!
It's this kinda of movies, just like "Soldado Milhões" for example, which also premiered this year, that give me hope on having quality cinema in our theaters from now on!
A cat's consciousness (2016)
We need more of this!
I had the opportunity to see this beautiful movie at FEST in Espinho, the new directors film festival!
It was without any doubt in my opinion the best animated movie of the competition "Lince de Prata" and fully deserves to take the trophy!
The narrative exceeds every other movie of this animation competition, the style is absolutely wonderful and really outside of the box, which is a thing that the young filmmaker should really focus, innovate. I had never seen a movie with this kind of animation and I'm happy I did it yesterday!
Andrea really proves Poland has some great potential and i can't wait to see her next project! Also, I advise every lover of cats to watch this little awesome movie! It really pays off!
Soldado Milhões (2018)
Not even a single cringe scene on the whole movie! Keep it going Portugal!
Aníbal Augusto Milhais (João Arrais) is one of the many soldiers sent to Flanders during World War I. At the battle of La Lys, contrary to orders from the major, Milhões decides to face successive German offensives alone to ensure the withdrawal of the companions.
In the year marking the centenary of the 1st world war, we follow the path of the soldier Milhais, worth millions, through the memories of the war!
Based on actual events, Aníbal Milhais's story is built, where it denotes the good work of the team, especially at the moments inside the war.
At the same time, the filmmakers showed the life of the protagonist elder, with his family, especially the relationship with his daughter Adelaide.
The war sequences are pretty cool, even more taking in consideration the limited resources that the Portuguese cinema has. We do not see large crowds, but we see the nervousness, anxiety, the fear that lurks on the other side of the trenches, while the Fellowship plays a very important role.
I need to congratulate the team who made this movie for the courage to bring the Portuguese history to the big screen, in a tribute to a national hero, in commemoration of the 100 years of the end of World War I. As your commander said: "Tu és Milhais, mas vales Milhões" and Portugal can finally understand why in a movie theater.
For the record, there's not a single cringe scene in the entire movie, and that's already worth a star!
American Pie 2 (2001)
I don't care about your SJW crap, this franchise is amazing!
I love revisiting movies I haven't seen in years, as it's like a whole new experience. I have forgotten so much about this movie, but remembered enough to have an old friend feeling when watching. Picks up the summer after their first year of college and they guys, along with Stifler, get a lake house to have one big huge Summer end party. All sorts of hijinks, raunchy sexcapades, and fantastic heartfelt humor fill this sequel. Great movie, full of laughs, and an absolute must for anyone who likes the first, or just like to laugh in general.
This movie is almost true to life as the expectation of high school friends after the first year of college.
The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017)
Amazingly funny w/ a not so good plot.
I was super excited to see this movie! The comedy is, for the most part on point! But if you don't like lots of cursing, this is not the movie for you!
But, in the other hand if you remember all of Sam Jackson's best moments this movie has some of the best!
The plot is easy to follow, but it felt more as an excuse to tell great jokes, you can just enjoy this movie as a roadtrip-comedy between the two actors, but the plot is trying way too hard in the background!
But it's a very funny movie! Watch it!
Mother! (2017)
Absolutely horrible, worst movie of 2017.
It sucks, it really sucks! Some critics are going to defend this movie, saying it is a piece of art! Art my ass!
Quoting a friend "If you are an envolved person, and not your everyday unconscious zombie, you will avoid it"!
This is an absolute senseless movie going from nowhere to nowhere 2 freaking hours later! I can't really put into words how much i hated this crap movie! But i need to congratulate the effort by Jennifer Lawrence, she really did her best with the crap she was given!
There's nothing entertaining about the story or characters, it's a 2 hours movie of frustation waiting for it to end!
And Darren Aronofsky next time you write a movie please don't read the bible prior to that. Thanks.
Annabelle: Creation (2017)
James Wan is a horror master.
The first Annabelle gave the doll some basis and established her deadly legacy, but it lacked any true backstory of her creation! The prequel, as so titled, helped fill in the creation story and establish the origin, something that the first movie couldn't do!
The scare factor in my humble opinion is at his best in this movie, continuing the Conjuring's legacy!
Annabelle is creppy by herself, a creppy creppy doll, it's deceiving smile still gives me chills!
Moving to the second-rate part, the protagonists of the film held a lot of potential to develop as characters, but unfortunately they didn't; Scares are getting easier to predict in this day and age and Annabelle: Creation almost escapes this trend, while there are some moments that were pretty good ties, the tatics got a little repetitive for a few times!
Overall, Annabelle: Creation is one of the best horror movies of the year so far and perhaps it will indeed be the best of 2017 ( I think Saw 8 which has also been created by the master of horror James Wan will have a word on this topic), it is dark, creppy and keeps you invested in the movie for the two hour run time!
And its never too much to remember everyone that James Wan is an absolute genius and a freaking horror master! And we still have 3 more movies incoming from this amazing brain, Conjuring 3, The Nun and Saw 8!
One thing is for sure, every horror fan needs to be thankful to James Wan for such good movies!
It (2017)
The more comedy than horror remake that worked
This movie is based on Stephen King's book which was written back in 1986! As such it follows the trend of those amazing times - good storyline, interesting characters, amazing chemistry between them, surprisingly good acting and a remarkable build up of the scary scenes instead of sudden movements!
The humor worked so well, indeed it is a horror movie but you're going to end up laughing your ass off with this movie, it's a very funny movie where all the jokes landed!
Now addressing the second-rate part, there is not really a psychological horror, the special effects are not bad but there are points in this film where a should-be terrifying movie moment was kinda laughable!
Overall Andy Muschietti did an pretty amazing job with this film as well as Bill Skarsgard, who gave life to the terrifying Pennywise!
Beta House (2007)
10+ years in the making and still hangs up
This one had a good first act, but has a little bit of an advantage, because most of the characters were already developed! This movie also has a better third friend, in Bobby! Ryan wasn't bad, and I actually really liked him, but there was no comic relief, and all the characters were very similar! He was also way too similar to Dwight! Bobby is funny, kind of different from the rest, and not to be rude or "fat shame", but he doesn't look tall and fit, or just skinny, like the rest, which is nice to not just see a bunch of jocks hanging out together!
This movie was a lot of fun and it was a cool look into Hollywoods poor portrayal of Greek Life, but it was very flawed. The quality of the American Pie movies goes down every time it seems, but they always guarantee laughter and entertainment.
(Eugene Levy) Noah Levenstein kills it again!
Expect a lot of breasts and horny college students, and booze. Pretty much have the stereotype set up.
Big fan overall!
