Was expecting a Documentary about the folklore and History of the Mermaid as indicated by the story line. Instead, we sit through people going over their OWN life and gender transformation trauma. There is a brief discussion of the Weeki Wachee and mermaids which was a nice Documentary type history but so brief. Even if they spent more time on the Mermaid Meet-Up would have helped. Seek elsewhere if you want to learn "anything" about the Mermaids origins, history or even see what goes into being a mermaid.

Missed Opportunity, Instead We get Unrealistic Tantrum Story Line

The first 30 minutes wasn't bad. However it made no sense that everyone including the guys boss was way to concerned to what he does on his lunch break. There is no explanation why this 26 year old guy throws these fits like a 12 year old girl and then the girl puts up with it. This happens over and over. Just so much unrealistic drama. Best part of the movie is where BOTH girls out of no where express their discuss of the other girls name as soon as they learn of it. Starting to think this was written by a 12 year old girl. Would never recommend this to anyone.
