The Squad: Prison Police (2010)
"Official" terminology
I LOVE the use of the phrase "attempted escape" for successful escapees who, of course, as will always happen, get caught. Hello... That's a successful escape followed by a successful capture. But, an attempted escape would be one in which the incarcerated individual is caught before leaving the confines of the prison boundaries. (Exactly the same as a "near miss" in the FAA and DOT terminology. It should be a near hit. If they nearly missed, they hit. If they nearly hit, they missed. How things are worded, just like punctuation, can completely change the meaning of what's attempting to be portrayed whilst actually portraying the opposite. When I hear "attempted escape," I'm not worried as I assume they never made it out. Tell me the truth so I'm prepared. When I hear "near miss," I'm instantly worried. Especially if someone I know is on the plane or train or car or whatever. I assume it was hit. Correct terminology people... It's important.)
Kids Who Kill (2017)
Shocking!
I find many of the points of view/opinions extremely shocking! I've watched only the first two so far and, I'm sorry, but I wouldn't want either one as a neighbor. If you can do that as a kid, what are you capable of now? Especially with years of juvie, jail, and/or prison. In the case of Eric Smith, one of the last questions asked is, "How long is long enough?" I don't know. Ask the parents of the dead Derrick? How long IS long enough? When you finally see your son again? Oh. I thought so. Wow! I grew up in a terribly abusive household. I NEVER wanted to harm another person. I never have. I never will. I have, however, attempted to take my own life an unknown number of times and then lived a life that should've killed me at some point an unknown number of other times through my choices. I have technically died many times. But, never have I hurt another. Why on earth would I do to someone what I hated done to me? That would just make me relive it, over and over, only worse, and only to end up in an even worse place, mentally and physically. No thank you!
Ancient Alien Origins (2015)
Refreshing!
In my humble opinion, this is absolutely wonderful! I'm definitely plan to watch all of the 'Ancient Aliens' series/shows now. Certainly, I 100% admit that I don't absolutely, with certainty, know all the answers to... well, anything and everything, including about my own self. So, I have never bought into anyone's interpretation of anything. They're all biased. Every one. However, this makes some sense of the unsensible. It's as easy, if not easier, to believe than some giant man in the sky waiting billions of years to finally create us in His image, blah, blah, and a bunch of other nonsensical stuff. I don't think this series is meant to claim scientific irrefutable evidence of aliens, or change peoples' beliefs' systems, or teach that God=Aliens (or vice versa). It reminds those of us who do believe but do have questions that the entire story isn't contained in one 2-part book. And, it's the most I've EVER seen regarding "the nephillum that came to earth and (slept) with our women" that I've been asking about since I learned how to read.
