How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)
Film definitely makes you want to fall in love
Matthew McConaughey is so sexy in this film. Kate Hudson is so cute and confident. Every scene makes you fall in love with the couple. Characters are quite funny. Kate Hudson looks beautiful in that yellow ball gown. I don't anyone should get to critical of the film. It's a feel good film and one of the ultimate chick flick films. Matthew McConaughey's body is just wow. Also he's voice and accent makes you fall in love with him more.
Overall, I find this film an excellent watch for nights in with ice cream! I would most definitely recommend it to a friend. You have to watch it at least once!
Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
Feel Good Film with Happy Ending
I absolutely love Jennifer Lawrence but I felt something lacking in her acting in this film. I just felt Bradley Cooper was more convincing.
The dance show element of this film was a little typical. So many films have this dance show plot line. The only thing that was different was that their dance was definitely not typical. It was actually quite cute.
Jennifer Lawrence has a lot of potential and will most definitely go far in her career. She's do a wide range of characters and doesn't want everyone to remember her just as Katniss (which is quite avoidable).
Overall, feel good film. Nice chick flick for the girls. After all, it has Bradley Cooper in it.
Kai po che! (2013)
Best film in 2013 so far
Book has been beautifully filmed by Abhishek Kapoor. Casting has been done superbly. Each actor played their role with full conviction. Sushant Singh Rajput did not look like a newcomer at all. He also made a convincing cricket expert. Music was good.
The Gujrat earthquake was presented really well. The scenes were portrayed with real emotion. The sadness related to natural disasters are not explored as much in Indian cinema.
All of the actors were amazing. They really made me laugh, cry and smile. Looking forward to more films with Sushant Singh Rajput! Hope he delivers more excellent films such as Kai Po Che!
Indian movies have really evolved. No more singing and dancing around trees. Real stories with actual facts about society.
