Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab (2022)
amazing episode
This episode is absolutely incredible I loved the nods to eighties classic horror like poltergeist - the rope to the other dimension, the swimming pool with bodies, the table and chairs in Nancy's. Also nightmare on elm st- 'you've found me Nancy', nancys striped jumper, Steve trying to wake Nancy up. Aw it was just great honestly couldn't get enough of this whole season (was disappointed in season 3). Acting is superb particularly love Dustin & Erica - pure comedic gold. Can't wait to see volume 2.....
Happy Valley (2014)
Amazing acting
Oh my god the acting in this show is bloody brilliant. It's like watching real life happen in front of your eyes. Sarah lancashire is incredible.
Stories are gritty, edge of your chair drama that you can't stop watching. I'm completely hooked. More please!
Holmes & Watson (2018)
Urgh
Total, utter pants.
Glad I had wine to drink otherwise it would've been a complete washout.
Mrs Wilson (2018)
Fantastic
Ruth Wilson does an incredible job here portraying her own grandmother. The love, betrayal, loyalty, sadness and hope that Alison Wilson felt was clearly evident throughout. A story so bizarre and shocking it had to be true. A fabulous ending demonstrating that good can come from lies- with all the family meeting. He may have been a serial bigamist but without him, none of these people would exist today. Thorughougly enjoyed this series and the performances by Ruth Wilson and Ian Glen (who seems to be playing deceitful dead husbands a lot these days lol)
