13 Eerie (2013)
A Hidden Jem
I was really surprised by how good this movie is. You can tell that it is low budget because the special effects aren't up to par with big budget zombie movies, but it is still really entertaining.
The one thing that I really liked about this movie is that the zombies aren't the easy-to-kill type found in most zombie movies. These zombies are vicious, they can run and they are hard to kill; and this makes the movie a lot more intense.
It was also nice to see Brendan Fletcher who was the main actor in Rampage, and Katharine Isabelle who played in American Mary - another great horror flick.
Rampage (2009)
Most People don't get this movie!
I watched this movie and I immediately understood what Uwe Boll was doing. This isn't a movie about a psychopath who goes on a rampage. It's not very realistic and it is a bit illogical. What this movie represents is the fantasies that some of us have such going on a rampage because people make us upset.
After a bad day and dealing with people who make us angry, we all feel like going on a rampage (well we don't seriously think about it, but the thought might pop into our heads). This movie represents this fantasy.
The other thing is that the violence is not too realistic. Brendan Fletcher shoots up a bunch of people, but it does not look as bad as you would think it should, and you realize that it's just a movie. Overall, I really enjoyed and because I'm a sick person, but because the movie isn't about what most people think it's about.
