Loki (2021)
I like this for Loki
Didn't really care for Loki but gave the series a try. For me it took a minute for it to pick up but please stick with it. It's good. It has a slow start but if you skip it you'll be lost. This show helps Loki grow and I'm actually glad to see him as the hero but also staying true to himself. He has people looking down on him for things he did in his past and he's been showing them that he can do better. He seems to have more purpose than he did in the marvel movies and I like that for him. It's like giving a sidekick their time to shine. And it just goes to show that you don't have to live in someone else's (Thor's) shadow. I hope the series keeps going. The characters are great and the story is unpredictable. A good time travel sci-fi show.
Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation (1986)
Oldie but goodie
I use to love this movie when I was younger and I still do. I showed it to my 2 year old and she loves it as well. She gets action, drama, horror and suspense all in this movie lol. She's a little scared of Dark Heart but once she sees that the Care Bears have it under control she's ok. Didn't realize how dark this movie was since Dark Heart is a demon that's leaving a dark influence on everyone and everything. I actually like that! They don't make 'em like they use to lol.
Rick and Morty: Rickdependence Spray (2021)
They could have did without this episode
Disgusting and pointless episode. Was hoping it was going in one direction but went into a completely random one.
Aladdin (2019)
Will Smith carried this movie!
Would have gotten a lower rating without him. Poor casting with Jafar in my opinion and the film started off with a weak beginning.
John Dies at the End (2012)
Not complaining that it's not like the book, but it still fell short.
I really want to love this movie since I'd loved the book. I understand that you can't squeeze a book into a screenplay so my score isn't based on that. I was curious how it would play out as a movie since the book was a collection of short stories. The way they set it up was OK but I can see the movie being very confusing for people who hadn't read the book. For example most of the movie was events that happened when they first tried the soy sauce and the beginning of the movie and towards the end of the movie are separate stories that took place when they've become more adjusted to the soy sauce. Overall I wanted that eerie vibe you got from the book, and I am bummed that some things were left out. I think I would have still enjoyed the movie if they had better cast David Wong's character. I mean he's the lead character and they cast him with someone with very poor acting skills.
