American Horror Story: Valerie Solanas Died for Your Sins: Scumbag (2017)
Poinless, preachy, gender-baiting crap
The characters and their motivations were already spotty this season but this takes this crap to a whole new level. The preachy dialogue, oh god I can't even describe the dialogue in this episode.
This episode devolves into a forced new character telling a boring and completely unconvincing story that in the end is completely pointless and irrelevant to the story. The whole episode is like a radical feminist's wet dream basically repeating the most ridiculous stereotypes about men while separating men and women into factions. Even the gay guy suddenly becomes sexist Trump supporter #3543.
Well, I for one, am glad we have Hollywood to teach us about how we should treat women.
Infinity Chamber (2016)
Travis Milloy, I hope you're reading this, I love you man
I know your movies have a low budget, both this and Pandorum needed a bigger budgets but your imagination and the scifi worlds you create both with this movie and Pandorum fascinate me. Both movies for some reason completely immersed me into that dark scifi reality, the feeling reminds me of a Dark Mirror episode.
The movie keeps you hooked up from start to finish, fun fact I watched superhero movie #343456 called Spiderman Homecoming today and I had to pause and do something more interesting at least 5 times. With this one I didn't even blink.
The movie has a couple of small mistakes (----SPOILER---- The escape route is the same both in the "dream" state and in reality, which doesn't make sense but could be due to budget issues and thankfully the outside environment changed ----END OF SPOILER----) but damn that was one tightly written script. The actors did a pretty great job too with their characters although dubbing was kind of weird sometimes.
Thank you for this movie, I'll be stalking you from now on for any new movies, you deserve bigger budgets. Please keep on making scifi films. Greetings from Greece.
An American Carol (2008)
The only comedy right-wingers can produce is the unintentional one...
...but these guys actually tried to make it funny and that's why they failed. They should have tried to make a neocon documentary about leftism instead that would be funny as hell. Insulting to other races "jokes", senile humor, extremely divisive world-view and the stalking of a fairly good documentarist (yeah I said Michael Moore is a good documentarist, go cry in your corners now). So pretty much all the ignorance and stupidity you'd expect from redneck neocons. Only surprise was that the movie wasn't produced in Alabama. The only joke I laughed at was the Taliban training video and I felt like an idiot after that.
