Roberts and Clooney Have the Chemistry But were Cheated with Bad Writing

There is no denying the chemistry between these two, but even that can fizzle when handed a script with poorly written jokes. Two talented, great looking, charismatic actors were cheated out of the opportunity to shine because of the writing. The bickering between the two in the beginning of the film was exhausting, the best friend of the daughter was meant to bring the comic relief, but honestly never made one funny statement (No fault of her own again, I'm sure). Finally, midway through, when memories lead to sparks between the couple again, the film finally came to life. Who wrote Notting Hill? Now, there's an example of great wring. They both deserve a better film written by someone who understands great romantic comedy.

Beautiful Family Film

A beautiful movie that had the perfect combination of drama and comedic elements. Add an amazing cast of characters and we have a winner. I'm loving the new Waltons movies and like to think of them as a reimagination of the original Waltons as opposed to a remake. I love the storyline and how they brought Ben back, as well as anything related to The Baldwin Sisters. Where did they find these funny talented ladies? They are perfect in their roles. Bellamy Young is also perfect as Olivia and really carries the show- She and the new father had great chemistry together. Another role that was perfectly cast was John Boy. I really love Logan Shroyer's version. I'm really hoping that The CW makes more movies or a series soon- Great job CW!

Loved it!!!! Everything from the cast, acting, writing, set design, music, wardrobe was stunning. This is not supposed to be an exact remake of the original, so the complaints from some of the fans of the original make no sense. They were not trying to make an exact copy of the original. If the original is all that you want, fine. This movie is not for you. "It is a story of human kindness, and compassion, and love"....could not have been said better. We need more content like this on television! Hoping for a series.

Poor casting

We need to be invested in the lead characters and Washington does not deliver. Robert Pattinson deserved to star alongside someone on his acting level or higher.
