The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 7: In the Name of Honor (2022)
Great cinematic Star Wars episode with disappointing Disneyesque outcomes.
A stunning visual episodes with memorable fights and a great Droideka and Rancor plottwist. However, this episode needed Cad Bane to kill Boba Fett in order to please me and many Star Wars fans. It's concerning to see how Dave Filoni decided to choose the path of dialog and character placement similar to what disney offered in the sequels.
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger (2022)
Love it or misplace it
Let me summarize what happened in this episode:
SPOILERS
- Ahsoka, Mando, Grogu, R2D2, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett and Cad Bane appeared within one episode.
- There was an Order 66 flashback with live action clones.
- A parallel Yoda training with Grogu.
- Yoda's lightsaber returned
- Ahsoka and Luke talked about Anakin.
- Cad Bane first appearance in live action.
- Ahsoka and RD2C met for the first time since Clone Was.
- The first convincing virtual appearance of Luke Skywalker.
It was all delivered in one fandom mashup of 47 minutes. Either you appreciate the path Filoni creates and answer with a 10, or dislike the episode due to the misplacement within Boba Fett's story and still rate it 7.
Cobra Kai (2018)
Why Cobra Kai is excellent for non-Karate Kid fans; Star Wars!
SPOILERS SEASON 1-3
I've never watched The Karate Kid when I was young, but since the pilot episode of Cobra Kai i've been hooked to it's story and timeline nostalgia. After the season 3 finale Its even more obvious, Cobra Kai is highly similar to Star Wars.
Looking at the final 10 minutes of this episode; Kreese is basically Palpatine, who just turned Robbie (Anakin) to his dojo/dark side. While Johnny (Obi Wan) and Daniel (Yoda) try to warn Anakin about the evil empire (Cobra Kai). This leads to an epic karate/light saber battle with relevant John Williams-esque classic music. If you like to expand this universe, think about Hawk as Darth Maul and look at all the characters who where presumed death or turned up 30 years after they where last seen. Remember the scene where Daniel trained Robbie in the forest? High Yoda/Luke on
Degobah Vibes.
For a Cobra Kai fan, the prequels (Karate Kid 1 - 3 are kinda hard to watch) but still this series performs excellent for me by using the perfect balance of wisdom and battles. Excellent show
writing, huge fan.

A Christmas Carol (2009)
Great and accurate adaption, perhaps not the version to learn the story
Interesting adaption to view after being familiar with the story. However, in order to embrace Dickens story as a child, the Muppets Christmas Carol is more suitable. Not only in terms of relief, also in order to experience the true atmosphere of 19th century London.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Television masterpiece with one piece of complaint;
Marks the first time I've shed a tear of happiness regarding a Star Wars piece, and I urge everyone to upgrade their rating on the Seriespage instead of just the episodes. One piece of feedback; be more subtle in the 'previously on the mandalorian' recap, as it gives away some spoilers of what's there to come in the specific episode.
The Mandalorian (2019)
Carrying the franchise, making sure future directors will need to complete a certain fanboy assesment.
Not only does The Mandalorian provide scenes and references the original trilogy fans embrace. John Favreau also brings the animated series to life, respects all decisions from the prequels and even does their best to provide context to J.J. Abraham's catastrophic sequels. Due to the 'behind the Mandalorian' content it seems certain that future Star Wars directors will be selected on their love for Star Wars instead of mere science fiction.
Memento Mori (2018)
See above
The 'Blood and Sand' review is obviously written by a featured actor or maybe director. This movie is not worth your time.
The Purge (2013)
If you (like me) like the idea on this movie on forehand, don't watch it.
Watching this 7 years after it's release, I was hyped of the idea of burglaries, assassinations of people you hate (like your boss or an annoying neighbor) and bombings. Instead, they've made a cringy story of poorly written characters with incredible dumb actions, all set in one house where non of your imaginations get fulfilled. I gave it a 1 because the movie ruins the ideas you and I made ourself.
13 Reasons Why (2017)
Season 3 is better than 2.
From a 28 year old Male who had never watched a similar series to 13 Reasons Why (no Riverdale, Smallville, etc.). Season 1 felt like a masterpiece, season 2 was rather boring, season 3 is interesting again due to the urge to know what happened. I really liked what they did with the ending (both episodes) and it made me rewatch the whole of season 1. Definitely deserves more credit here.
