The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)
wow...just wow
Just when you think things couldn't get any worse with the world being effected with a real world virus, this steamy pile of dung lands on our doorsteps. First episode I was already hoping for the main to die on a horrible way. Unfortunately, 2 eps in and she's still alive.
Directors / story writers are more concerned with teen rebellion, ticking boxes (waiting for one of them to come out as lgbtqrst).
It's almost like a road trip but with the occasional zombie, and no cars,
The main acts all cool after her run in with a zombie. How did she do it you might ask? A: She attempted to kill it numerous times, only to fall with it down an embankment and proceed to vomit on it then saying 'that's what you get'.
This series is supposed to be about the first generation growing up in the world as it is. Why not focus on someone like Judith Grimes.
You can keep waiting on this show to get better...but it likely wont.
Minuscule: La vallée des fourmis perdues (2013)
check out the tv series too
This movie is akin to the tv show of the same name. No dialogue but highly enjoyable. If you like the movie checkout the show
The Good Doctor (2017)
It's like House...if House was garbage
In a nutshell, ignore the aspect of the show about the guy who has autism and this is pretty much just another medical drama. After the first episode or two the slow emotional music begins to get on your nerves. It's an attempt to pull at the heart strings but misses
Black Panther (2018)
Yawn
In a nutshell... Waited 2 hours or so just to watch the cut scenes.
To elaborate, this movie lacked a decent storyline, instead it was rather dull. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and as such cared little for their success or failure. Much of the hype I believe is due to the dominant African American cast. That's fine, when I watch a movie I don't care what colour people are, but in this case the hyper seems to have heavily depended on that fact and ignored more important aspects of a movie like storyline etc. The lead character was rather bland. Wait for this movie on netflix or something. I gave this movie 3 stars because Andy Serkis was funny
Almost Human (2013)
Short & sweet
Is both this show and my review.
Having already watched it through once before and starting again, and looking at the reviews I'm baffled as to why it was cancelled.
Apparently there was too much information that some of the head honchos thought it likely people wouldn't jump on board.
Wish they'd bring it back
