Skeleton Lake (2012)
Completely Pointless Waste of Time
The movie sucks you in with what looks to be a good story. Later you find out the point is dead people you didn't care about anyway. Had they bothered with a few more shots they could have saved this film.
That's the saddest thing here, with just a little thought this could have been a good film. A few of the characters should have been better developed and provided a back story that made sense.
The New Daughter (2009)
Anti second amendment leftist drivel
Admittedly I only watched 10 minutes of it, all I could take. Just as I tuned in a child maybe 10 or so found a shotgun inside a piano, allegedly left by a previous occupant of their residence. Everyone in the scene freaked out, the children were screaming for their dad as though there was malevolent stranger in the house. The shotgun presented no danger except that the father had never instructed his son in the proper handling of a firearm. The fear of the shotgun was really super duper over the top. This movie is pure leftist trash. I'm really sick of Hollywood being the mouthpiece of the commy culture in this country. What's interesting is that most of them would not be able to do what they do in the culture they advocate because the private capitol pools they depend on can't exist in a communist society.
Last Ounce of Courage (2012)
Great feel good family movie that touches some timely topics
This movie is a fantastic way to start or continue conversations with your kids about what it means to be an American and those things that make us Americans, those things that have made us special among all the nations of the earth. Additionally, It points out what citizenship is, and how community is built and kept. There are leadership lessons and other good life lessons. Anybody remember The Waltons or Little House, and the subtle lessons we learned about life and how to deal with the adversity that will inevitably be part of every life. Today much of what is on TV is a race to the bottom displaying the worst of humanity. In that sea of smut this is something the whole family will enjoy.
Persecuted (2014)
The Well Informed Will Find It Chilling, Ohters Just Won't Get It.
I've read many of the reviews and after watching it, it's obvious that the well informed really like it and the low information folks don't get it. If you are poorly informed but want to prepare to watch this movie google the following:
Recent Administration Actions 1.Falsely portrayed the Benghazi terrorist attack as a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim YouTube video, and then lied about the White House's involvement. 2.Issued signing statements, refusing to enforce parts of congressional- enacted statutes. 3.Killed four Americans overseas in counter terrorism operations without judicial process. 4.Had SWAT teams raid a Gibson guitar factory and seize property, on the purported basis that Gibson had broken India's environmental laws—but no charges were filed. 5.Government agencies are engaging in "Operation Choke Point," where the government asks banks to "choke off" access to financial services for customers engaging in conduct the Administration does not like—such as "ammunition sales." 6. Made illegal "recess" appointments to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the National Labor Relations Board when Congress wasn't in recess. Ignored the rulings of three federal courts of appeals that held those nominations unconstitutional.
For further information read The "Cloward and Piven Strategy" and google whatisagenda21 then ask yourself about the TPP and the Iran Nuclear deal. If you don't understand what's wrong with the Iran Nuke deal look up 12ers.
This is just the off the top of my head stuff but there's much more. In the light of recent events and the structural changes taking place around us this movie is actually reality light, and still it is terrifying.
Still Mine (2012)
Heart warming and hard hitting in it's display of some troubling social dynamics.
It's a wonderful heart warming story that puts on display some of the more troubling dynamics in our society. Everyone should see this movie! This movie could have been written about me. I've lived every aspect of this movie including the attitudes of an entitled younger generation incapable of doing anything without a certification, degree, governmental rubber stamp or some other external approval or authorization. America is giving up it's soul and drowning in the schemes of politicians and over leveraged business cronies and it's all on display here. I've actually had some of the same arguments with the same officials nearly verbatim.

103 minutes of my life I'd like to have back!
It's gonna be tough to write 10 lines about this movie there wasn't 10 lines worth of movie there. I watched this movie with friends. Within minutes there were calls to move on to something else, but one member of our group was unwilling to bail in the first 15 minutes. No vote for her from now on. The movie was painfully slow from the first scene, then got worse. Our group found it difficult to empathize with two urban whiners who couldn't find a Starbucks for lack of a street sign and an I-phone. Twenty minutes in we were making up divergent story lines and describing them to each other over the movie. We all found the premise to be ridicules as basic navigation is taught in grammar and middle school, and the topography in which they were lost provided easy points of reference. Straight up we hated the characters and found ourselves waiting for death or rescue just to end it. As a group we wondered who after reading both pages of dialogue would give someone 3.5m to make this movie. Additionally, we've noted the directors name to avoid suffering the "watching paint dry" style Gus brought to this masterpiece ever again. This 10 line format is really not a good idea because there simply isn't that much to most movies. Especially today, when most movies fall into one of three categories; Type 1 is an hour of loosely connected explosions. Type 2 is whiny people complaining about their ongoing and easily overcome victimization while trying to make a subtle point for social change. Type 3 low brow comedy.
