Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr.: Family: Lost and Found (2023) Season 9, Episode 6

Enjoyed on many levels

Although I normally really enjoy this show, the heavy use of DNA in this episode particularly fascinated me, as a tool to answer so many questions in the lives of both guests.

And the fact that both guests were very easy on the eyes was an added bonus. I'd even say this episode of Finding Your Roots was an especially hot episode, a phrase I never thought I'd utter.

Kudos to Dr Gates, for his first rate team of genealogy investigators. I wish we all had access to such a team, to overcome the obstacles of omissions or mythologies passed onto us by our ancestors.

I hope this fascinating show continues for many episodes to come.

A One-Time Special (2020 TV Special)

Welcome Back in 2020!

I know it was heavily promoting NBC shows, but it was Fantastic to see the Cast back. 1st show I've seen to address the pandemic and I Love they way it was handed: Zoom calls, single shots, Kenneth & his assistant Totally made sense! From the opening mask vs anti-mask issue to the stories involving characters personalities, it was Enjoyable. I would recommend it, especially to fans of the show!!

Almost perfect, except for one shocking death at the end. New characters, Erica, Robin and even a brief Suzie, were smart and engaging. Storyline was exciting with scary villains (Russians) and greedy ones (Mayor). Please resist the urge to kill anyone off for shock value. Too many shows do it. Stop It!
