Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Perfect Follow Up
This movie was amazing it is the perfect follow up to the original trilogy. the writing and acting was perfect along with the special effects. it is great to see old characters return as well as meet brand new characters. this movie is a must for true Star Wars fans.
My Little Pony: The Movie (2017)
Better than expected
To start the animation in the film is a upgrade compared to the TV show. The plot is interesting, the Mane 6 must go on a mission to save Equestria from the Storm king and his minions. The movie has got awesome catchy songs as well as great voice acting. Taye Diggs and Michael Pina provide a comic relief along side funny pony Pinkie Pie. Leiv Schreiber and Uzo Aduba provided solid voice acting and great supporting story lines. Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth and Zoe Saldana all shine in their roles to make this movie better. Princess Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack and Fluttershy all shine perfectly on the big screen making this movie a wonderful adventure for all ages.
Hocus Pocus (1993)
Best Halloween movie Ever!!!!
I love this movie so much I watch it every year. Next year it will be 25 years old and it's still so funny and compelling. It has so much campy and cheesy moments that you typically find in a Disney channel movie but it's so good and worth every minute of watching. Bette Midler brings her A game as Winifred Sanderson the oldest of the Sanderson sisters. The movie starts in 1693 and shows us the Sanderson Sisters doing what they do best sucking the life out of little children so they can have eternal youth. Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker play the other two Sanderson Sisters each bring their own comedy to these three witches. Finally in 1693 they get caught by the townsfolk who of course hang them, however before they die Winifred swears they will be back. The movie fast forwards three hundred years into the future where we follow max a boy and his family who. Moved from LA to Salem. He ends up being the virgin that lights the black flame candle which brings the Sisters back to life. Now max and his crew must battle the witches to save the children of Salem. This film offers plenty of laughs and interesting story lines a film for all ages to enjoy year after year.
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
Not anything to really care about
This movie was so boring until the very ending. The music is forgettable and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) is the worst Disney princess she has nothing going for her in anyway. Her voice isn't too good, her looks don't really stand out and she has no character development I mean she's only in 18 minutes of the film. This was wasted potential she could have been better if they tried. The only thing that saves this movie from being utter trash is Maleficent. Her humor I funny and she is a delight to watch as well as watching the prince go out to save the princess. Trust me all you have to do is watch the first 10 mins and the skip to the last 30 mineutes and you will perfectly fine.
The Little Mermaid (1989)
One of the best
One of Disney's best movie. The story is interesting and compelling the music is wonderful and the characters are lovable. This movie is a true classic that people all all ages enjoy. The music is addictive the songs are well written and Jodi Benson has the voice of an angel. Ariel is such a interesting princess, she wants to be on land with the man she loves and instead of sitting around in pity like previous princesses she goes out and makes it happen by making a deal Ursula the Sea Witch. Then when things still don't go her way she stands up to Ursula to save her father and her lover. Eric may be the one that kills Ursula but Ariel is a spitfire who pulls Ursulas hair to save Eric. Of course in Disney cheesy fashion she gets her happy ending but that is Disney magic.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Still a Disney Masterpiece
80 years later this movie is still highly Enjoyable. The music is a little dated but still really good. The story is still compelling and the characters are still lovable. no matter how many times you watch this film you can't help but fall in love with this film. Not Disney's finest to me but it certainly has its place as one of Disney's most beloved movies. Snow White is not one of the great princesses herself and the princes isn't really memorable but the Evil Queen and the comedy of the dwarfs help make this film the masterpiece it is.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997)
Best Show Ever *Spoilers *
This show is so amazing. the acting is perfect, the directing is perfect. sure there are some things in this show that are cheesy but that's why i love it. some of the best episodes to watch are, once more with feeling- the musical episode its the best TV episode that includes singing. the body easily one of the best hours of TV ever the emotion and acting is powerful. Sarah Michelle Gellar and the cast have amazing talent. in this episode alone they take us through a roller coaster of emotion when Buffy finds out her mom is dead it makes you feel what the character feels not to many shows can do this to the audience. so if your looking for a show where you want comedy, action, awesome fight scenes, romance and drama then this is the show you wanna watch
