The Cleaning Lady (2022– )

Lazy writing. Predictable and annoying

Season 1 was highly predictable but OK. However, around the first half of Season 2, the show got irritatingly lazy and boring with Thony (Elodie Yung) acting like a self-centred spoiled brat always thinking about her needs and wants.

If the show makes it to season 5, I will bet my head that Thony will be US president calling all the shots and controlling all world governments to suit her needs.

She's an illegal immigrant who enjoys the services of a gangster-on-demand (just like the genie of the lamp) who's always willing to please and the FBI who are always ready to bend over backwards to help her while conveniently looking the other way as long as it benefits spoiled brat Thony.

The writing is irritatingly lazy and the acting is below average at best.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation (2021)

He-Man is the WOKE brigade's last victim

Not much to say. This has got nothing to do with the Masters of the Universe of my childhood.

It's just a WOKE brigade production using our beloved characters. The first episode is OK, but it immediately nosedives in rthe last few minutes. The other episodes are cringeworthy.

What a waste of time. I'm livid.

Ray Donovan (2013–2020)

Not for the adrenaline junkies

As an adrenaline junky with a short attention span, I love fast-paced movies and series.

After watching the first 9 episodes, I will be bidding farewell to this show 'cos I find it terribly boring and way too slow for my liking. All the events that have "happened" so far (nothing much, really) could have been condensed in half an episode.

I do appreciate that some people prefer to see how characters develop over the series, and Ray Donovan may be perfect for people who like this kind of shows.

However, anyone who shares my preferences will find the show waaaaay too dragging and slooooooow.
