Conjuring Kesha (2022– )

Sad to give this such a low rating
15 September 2022
I love 'ghostie' shows which is what I call them. I didn't have the highest hopes for this one and I watched it because Cindy Kaza, one of my favorite mediums, had it on her Instagram that she was in an episode but after the first episode I was so disappointed at the dramatization and the lack of any good content captured. I can't seem to find any decent ghost hunter shows anymore that don't have loud overtones of music and very little actual captured content. This was just over the top silly with people who have no business even messing with the supernatural. Sorry Cindy, I tried to like it. Kesha may be interested in this field but it doesn't need to be filmed and aired. The guest stars were also just not great. It's a shows that name drops. :(

Britain's Best Home Cook (2018–2020)

How do compete doing what one loves to do
23 February 2022
This is the absolute best cooking competition in my humble amateur home cook opinion. The cooks, the judges, the host all get on so well. I have watched so many cooking and baking shows over the years and never I have I felt so emotionally invested into each competitor as I have watching this series. The idea of them developing relationships and living together and cooking together and really learning who their competing against makes it all so very metaphorical in the sense that the ingredients we cook with must all go beautifully together to make something wonderful and these lovely people all come together to make something wonderful as well. What a joy of a show. I hope it continues. I have learned loads from this series and taken so many notes.

As We See It (2022)

Parent of a young adult son on the Spectrum
22 January 2022
My husband and I sat down and watched this entries first season in one night. We both have always thought my 51 year old husband is undiagnosed on the spectrum due to certain things he struggles with but most would not notice and is a genius is so many mechanical areas. Seeing him watch this series was something spectacular. He got emotional many times and that is a rare thing for him to show. Our 20 year old son is Autistic but is considered low verbal and low functioning in the expectations of society but does just fine at home with us. We've almost done the apartment for him with the roommates but have held off due to the Pandemic. Although our son won't experience several things that Violet, Jack and Harrison are shown to in the series, it is comforting knowing that there are people out there like Mandy who care enough to make sure they do experience all that they can in life. The role of an advocate for people in need is such an under appreciated career and life path. This show is fantastic on so many levels. It is clearly noted for 16+ and for good reason. This show should be viewed by anyone wanting to advocate or have any involvement with a family member that is a young adult or preparing to become one and what struggles may lie ahead for them. The writing, the delivery, and the chemistry are amazing. I really hope it gets another season.

Excellent for theater buffs and Hedwig followers
7 March 2021
After watching Hedwig and the Angry Inch which I had not, I rewatched this episode and now see so much in this episode that I missed. The music is so fitting and it's too bad more people can't appreciate mixing genres.
