Very Entertaining
13 December 2006
As a devote fan to the series, I got very excited when hearing that there was going to be a movie made. Part of me was worried that it wouldn't be made with the same meticulous perfection that the series was created with...I shouldn't have worried.

The movie itself is absolutely awesome. I found it very enjoyable and (unlike a lot of anime movies) find myself able to watch it over and over again.

And to those who complain about the ending. If the end of the movie had been *any* different, it would not have been FMA's style. I thought the end was brilliant. So, check it out!

Beyblade (2001–2005)
Awesome!
19 June 2005
The premise of the show isn't promising. Kids playing with tops hardly sounds like an interesting show, and had me doubting at first. I watched it, though, and fell in love! The show isn't all about the beyblade battles (even though the battles are very well done), a lot of it is the character growth and how the team of the 'Bladebreakers' (main team) get to know and get along with each other.

Good point #1: Bey battles Seriously, if someone told you that you should watch a show about battling tops, you would probably laugh. The makers of Beyblade did a great job of making this questionably stupid sounding sport into a very exciting ordeal. The battles are very fun to watch especially with the addition of bitbeasts (animals trapped inside the beyblades) and the fun dialogue that goes on with each battle.

Good point #2: Music All of the music is extreemly original and fun. 'Nuff said.

Good and Biggest point #3: Characters! The true reason I watch beyblade is for the character interaction. The show fills all of the stereo-typical molds of characters every anime needs almost to a point. Tyson is the loud-mouthed, always hungry, fiery one of the group. Max is the kind, bright and bubbly one of the group. Rei is the calm, cool, and collected guy of the group. And Kai is the regular anti social jack@$$ that every show needs. Despite this, each character has their own personality; these personalities often clash to create wonderful comedy or genuine drama. The most often of fights being between Tyson and Kai, as Tyson often does not think and Kai is balantly hostile sometimes and speaks his harsh mind without conviction.

All in all, I would give this series two thumbs up! If you haven't seen it yet, I must suggest. Watch the first and the third seasons. SKIP THE SECOND ONE. the second series was painful to watch. (I mean horrible!)

If you think that because you are older that you wont like the show, you're wrong! I'm fourteen and still enjoy the show! (Besides, the only reason I REALLY watch it is to see Kai >.< He's so awesome!!!)

Naruto (2002–2007)
Warning: Highly Addictive Show!
19 June 2005
I'm sure by now that you're read plenty of reviews that have exclaimed on its pros and cons, so I will only go into them very lightly.

Cons first. The animation isn't bad, but could be better. Meh...I'm fine with the animation, yet others seem to make a big deal over it. Whatever. Also, it has been mentioned often that Naruto is very like DBZ. That it is. Its main similarity/flaw is how long the fights take. Although its not as bad as DBZ, some fights take up to 3 or 4 episodes which is a bit drawn out. >.< Other than the intros and outros (which are wonderful!) the music is pretty bland. Meh. So those are all of the bad things I could think of. Seriously though, I like the series enough that I don't mind or even notice any of these 'flaws'. People just seem to like to complain about them.

Yay! Pro time! Again, lets touch on Naruto's similarities to DBZ. Naruto is head and shoulders above DBZ on almost every level. Naruto actually has GASP character depth and development! This is one of Naruto's strong points. The reason the series is so addictive is how likable all of the characters are. So even if you don't like the main characters (Naruto-loud, clumsy, strong willed. Sasuke-cold, angsty, strong. Sakura-love struck and smart) there are PLENTY of minor characters to satisfy any of your favorite character cravings. All of my favorite characters are side characters! Also, the villains have depth unlike DBZ. All of the villains actually have a reason (no matter how psychotic) to do what they do. Tragedy seems to be a big part of Naruto and almost every character has suffered including the villains.

OK, I'm done. I say Definitely check this series out, you'll become hooked, I promise! Keep a lookout for my favorite characters: Neji, Itachi and Gaara!! 9/10

Wolf's Rain (2003–2004)
A very good show!
15 July 2004
I first saw the previews for Wolfs Rain on CN, Adult Swim and was surprised. It's ot often that you see such an interesting plot that grabs you right from the get-go. I of course watched it and fell in love. The animation is amazing and fluid thanx to the people who also animated Cowboy Bebop. The characters are deep and interesting, and their personalities contradict each other making it a lot of fun to watch.

The music is average in my opinion but still it is above normal anime standards for good. The one bad thing is the flashback episodes 15-18. They are a waste of time and get you to forget the story. Other than that it is a spectacular series, right up there with Bebop in my opinion. I would give Wolfs Rain a 9 1/2 out of ten and a jar of cookies. I highly recommend this series to anyone who doesn't mind a little swearing and blood. ^^

Pokémon (1997–2023)
Pokemon=yuck
15 July 2004
Pokemon is a pathetic show that only the smallest of kids could even remotely enjoy. When it first came out I enjoyed it because I was young...and stupid...

Very very soon however, I became sick and tired of 'team rocket' trying to steal pikachu EVERY episode! I also got sick of Broks flirtyness, Ash ALWAYS winning, Misty in general and how their names reflected what they did. (Ash KETCHUM?)

All in all i'd give a two thumbs down. (is that an option?)It is a horrible show and a complete diss to all things animated. I really really discourage any one to even give it a chance.
