Thought The Title Was A Parody
10 November 2020
It was a shock to me after watching this to find out it wasn't meant to showcase how terrible of a human being Donald Trump is. When I went to the film's website and read the director's Q&A and realized he actually meant this to show Trump in a positive light, it was eye-opening (and disappointing)! I am a former staunch Republican supporter, who in the past few years - after leaving a (different) cult, has come to realize just how terrible Trump and the Republican party really is. It's amazing to me that people can watch this and still think Trump was a good thing to happen to America. I understand how people can fall for his shenanigans, having fallen for it myself at one point, but to still be someone who supports him after all he's done, that's just sad. As far as the quality of this documentary, the music and visual effects feel like Trump (or a child) put them together... they're so bad (like Four Seasons Total Landscaping bad). It makes more sense after realizing a Trump supported was behind it though! I would still recommend this to people who are able to critically think, so they can see a nice compilation of the worst of Trump. There was one part where I laughed, and that was when Trump made the "Pardon Me" joke about Hillary (which I doubt he wrote, but still). I dislike Hillary (still), but I dislike Trump even more now. America lost what little respect it had from the rest of the world, and it's sad that Trump supporters would just say "who cares" (or just deny it) in response. A bunch of children. So glad Biden (who I'm also not a fan of) won 2020. Trump and his supporters really showcased the worst of America for the past four years and it was painful to watch, just like this documentary.

Nathan for You (2013–2017)

People Will Look Back To This Show For Generations
5 March 2018
This show is sure to go down in TV History as one of the best comedies of all time (the best, in my opinion). I don't know how it has flown (relatively) under the radar for so long.

When I meet new people, I find myself struggling to hold off talking about it as to not seem weird. For example, "New Person: 'Hi, my name is New Person', Me: 'Hi, I'm Me. HAVE YOU SEEN NATHAN FOR YOU?!'. It's a real challenge to know when the appropriate time to bring it up is.

Nathan is literally a comedic genius. I know a lot of hyperbole is thrown around these days, but that is the absolute truth. If you haven't see the show and are reading this, you have to watch it! Or at least watch the episodes that are rated 8/10 or higher ;)

The Web Entangles You With Thrills
11 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
A "no-frills, lots-of-thrills" film. WEB might as well stand for "Well Executed Biography". Tells the story of Johnny Depp, the hacker, saving world from an asteroid set on a path for earth due to a critical error made by Bill Gates.

The kissing scene was breathtaking. Unfortunately, it didn't win an official award, but it officially awarded my heart with some lovely emotions.
