Leave the World Behind (2023)

Not good at all!

I was excited to watch this,wife made me a delicious pizza,chill my yuenglings,and sat down.

Started off okay,not sure why Julia Roberts forgot how to act,Ethan Hawke is still hanging on to his look from the 90's,except now he looks like a homeless person,and Kevin Bacon looks like his homeless brother,

One thing weird,among several,was Julia Roberts' hate people attitude,and she acts nasty to the owner of the house,but I blinked and she's suddenly laughing,drinking wine and dancing with him, Ethan Hawke has a similar weird encounter with the mans heavily tatooed daughter!

The deer thing was odd too. And the ending which after I turned it off my wife yelled "hey,that's not the ending", but it was.

Complete waste if time!

The Shift (II) (2023)

Horrible!

Not sure if the folks leaving positive reviews saw the same movie as me but I found it horrible, the reference to the book of Job is far fetched, seems like a cheap sci-fi movie that threw in some bible references so the Christian would flock to see it. As I Christian I found it weird, if you read the book of Job this movie is hardly relatable. Sure he has a slight cough and loses his job and wife but that's about it, I found myself praying that the movie would just end. The movie had about 8 elderly folks in it ,I think some Churches are giving away free tickets....not sure why. I don't think I will see any more of Angel's movies!

Elvis (2022)

Hunka,Hunka burning crap!

Just horrible, dude looks nor sounds anything like Elvis, this story has been told over and over in better ways. Tom Hanks Colonel Parker is just bad, his voice is a cross between the clown on "It" and Yoda. Just weird. The movie is about an hour too long. Oh well 20 dollars down the toilet!

The Bubble (2022)

Just not funny

Made it about 1 hour, kept waiting for it to be funny, never happened, maybe written on the toilet during pandimic, maybe Apatow was really sick....even for free not worth the money. It had potential but man...it is SO bad!

Even for free it's not worth it! I thought it was going to be a dark comedy but not so much, after about 15 mins in I felt a strong urge to turn it off and watch the news but I hung in to see if it got better......it didn't. Quite frankly I'm not sure what the heck they were going for. People comparing this to Hitchcock must have never seen one of his movies. Anyway save your time and watch the first and last 10 mins of the movie....you'll thank me.

Better than The Batman

Saw the new 3 hr long Batman movie last week, this movie was so much better! Very entertaining. Mindless fun adventure, great action, great acting. I have not enjoyed this good of a movie in a long time, I would gladly pay to see it in the theater.

Positive reviewers must be cast members, only 3 folks in the theater on opening day. Plots us all over the place. Should be a free stream movie. 2 hours if my life gone...so sad.

Clint it's past your bed time!

Big Clint Eastwood fan so I was excited to watch this. That being said I was left feeling very uncomfortable afterwards. Clint is just feeble, made me sad. When the hot mexican mom wanted him to have sex I yelled out "NO" and thank god he rejected her and saved himself for yet another hot older mexican gal. Cringe worthy!!!! Then when the henchman attacks Clint fends him off with a punch that had the speed and power of a 3 year old. And spoiler alert!!!the ending??????wth? He sends the boy off with Dwight Yoakum who is worthless, and a realky bad actor. Thank god I have hbo max and it was free!

Old (2021)

Just bad

Went on Saturday the the mega cinema...cost over 50 dollars for 2, tickets and snacks, 8 people in the theater, the movie was just stupid, bad acting, they didn't bother aging most of the actors, the movie made me laugh on several occasions even though it is a drama...wait until it is free.....seriously...any goid reviews must be from M night mahalahand!

Godzilla (2014)

I grew up in the 70's watching Godzilla movies on Saturday mornings this movie was no better than those...sure it had better graphics but the story line was horrible.....Bryan Cranston was only in it long enough for them to put his name on the credits then he got the heck out of there like I should have done. I stayed and waited for the good part but it never came. The battle between the monsters was boring , the lead characters were boring it was just terrible and I paid extra for d-box seats and 3 d ,which the only thing standing out in 3 d was one part with a missile. Save your money and stay home and rent one of the ones from the 60's

I heard a radio review of this movie stating it was really good, also made mention that the hit man made the movie. This is the most horrible movie I have ever seen...and I have seen some bad ones. This was not even a campy movie it just had really bad acting...actually I think I just insulted all actors because you could go to your local walmart and randomly pick a few people and make a better movie with your iphone. This movie was made in Texas I heard...I have lived in Texas all my life and after seeing it I feel I should move to another state. I guess the real joke is on me because I actually bought a copy of it off amazon after hearing the reviews. The good news is I only paid 2 dollars.
