Angie Tribeca (2016)
Quite possibly the worst thing I've ever watched.
I really liked Rashida Jones in Parks and Recreation and while the trailer didn't exactly look amazing, I figured it was worth a shot. This entire show is written by the kind of people who like things "ironically".
The show sets out to make fun of a genre that has become very popular these past few years but does it very, very poorly. Not only is the show poorly written, the jokes are also poorly delivered and they have managed to not have a single scene with good comedic timing.
The worst part is that you can really see what the show is trying to do. The basic idea of the show - a comedy parody of the popular "lone wolf" crime show - is a decent one, but they're just not getting there. It's a shame.

Your heart will break for every character
Kiss Me will tear your heart in pieces.
Films with a lesbian theme are often designed to make you root for the women in love, without any reservations. You are certain of the pair from the beginning. Imagine Me and You, a classic movie of this theme, even has you rooting for a marriage to end and an innocent man's heart to be broken.
Kiss Me doesn't romanticize the struggle these people go through. It shows the love, the passion and, most importantly, the pain. The pain of denying who you are and the pain of being betrayed and losing who you thought you were going to spend your life with. Because Kiss Me doesn't take these things lightly, my heart was breaking for each of the characters. As the story progresses with beauty and grace and without the rushed feeling of many love at first sight type movies, Mia starts to realize that there is only one way. Despite the sacrifices and the pain, there is one thing she has to do - And I bet you will find yourself realizing it with her.
Apart from the story being told with grace, beauty and a passion for every single character, the film is beautifully shot in the amazing scenery of the Scandinavian countries. An instant classic in movies with a lesbian theme, but a must see for everyone with a for romantic movies.
Private Practice: Did You Hear What Happened to Charlotte King? (2010)
As seen in former episode, Doctor Charlotte King is attacked. Episode beautifully describes not only her coping, but her boyfriend and colleagues as well.
Usually Private Practice is a bit of a guilty pleasure kind of thing for me, but after this episode I have newfound respect for the writers of the show, but also - if not even more - for KaDee Strickland. Her portrayal of a woman in this kind of situation was beyond amazing. There's only so much the writers can do when it comes to this kind of topics... It had not worked without her amazing work. Bravo, to both writers and KaDee. Furthermore, we got to see a different but, no doubt, great side of Doctor Cooper, portrayed impressively by Paul Adelstein. Amazing episode. I usually am not very affected by TV in terms of crying and such - but this episode had me in tears. Bravo.
