Saved by the Bell (2020)

A show that doesn't understand the struggles of racism or the art comedy but attempts to make sense of both in one of the most embarrassing failures I have ever seen. Every ethnically diverse character communicates so unnaturally due to dialog clearly written by the most self-loathing white people ever. The storyline about her being afraid to run for student president as a minority feels like it pulled from a different decade. In a generation where Hip Hop and Latin music are chart topping and well-respected acts you have to expect the racism experienced would be more subtle. You know like it is in real life. Apparently not. Show missed the mark big time.
Nerf Socom: Lexar (2009)
Best Nerf Series By Far But Lacks Direction.
I have to say some of the camera work at times has some off beats and the acting in the older episodes is a bit off but as the series progresses you feel a connection to the reoccurring characters. The story is possibly one of the most attention grabbing elements of this project. The story is well written and delivers some quality zingers. The action is at times well-paced and rather exciting. I believe this series doesn't try to take itself too seriously at times and because of that we have really great almost to the level parody moments that takes shots at numerous video games and action movies. The later episodes are by far more superior than the earlier ones. The earlier episodes really include some quality filler and well needed backstory to the plot though. The direction is sloppy in the first three or so episodes though and with that I can't deal this series a perfect score. The direction seemed a bit all over the place and not well put together. The errors in these first few episodes are almost an eyesore to sit through and I could see them being a turnoff for people who are just introduced to the series.
