10/10 is a little hard to justify, but there is a lot special about this film.
Like Florida Project, this is an iconic setting of American culture under poverty/housing stress.
The plot seems to move extremely slow, and you question why every scene is included, but it still kept me awake very late at night following it.
A very compelling love story bumps up the rating.
While the plot feels slow there are extremely well depicted stress points on characters that are more relatable than typical horror villan attacks.
A unique film maker choice is that every lie made by (anti?)hero would be expected to backfire later in plot unveiling. This may not turn out as such a plot formula.
