Dexter: New Blood (2021)
Not good
First off, the acting was horrible. The actress that played Angela needs to take classes, the only good performances were Michael C Hall, Clancy Brown and Jack Alcott. Feels like the rest of the cast were just plucked out of nowhere. A lot of things didn't add up from the original series. One example is when Dexter said that he killed Trinity for what he did to Rita, when in fact he killed Trinity before he found out about Rita. The actress that played Molly was cast horribly and the one that played Angela's daughter was even worse. The ending was dumb, having Harrison shoot Dex and Angela let him skip town with just a couple hundred dollars and a truck he had to ditch. We would've been better off with just thinking Dexter was a lumberjack in Oregon. The only things that I enjoyed were Clancy Brown's performance and some of the story. How the heck did he figure out that Dexter killed Matt? Too many unanswered questions that make no sense.
The Stand: The Circle Closes (2021)
The whole episode is filler.
They could've wrapped up the story in 8 episodes, add an extra 20 minutes to episode 8. How many stories is this nut gonna write about falling in a well? As a whole, the acting in the show wasn't great, Whoopi as Abigale was not a good choice. They should've tried to cast Angela Bassett or Pam Grier. The actor who played Lloyd was pretty awful.
This is what you get with his remakes, Pet Semetary, Firestarter, all 30 Salem's Lot reboots and The Shining, all really terrible.
I will say that I enjoyed that they followed the book more, but with all the money they put into this, it feels like they could've put more into it.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (2023)
Not bad.
It's Walking Dead, exactly what we're expecting. I always said that I'd continue to watch until they killed Daryl off, he is the man. It does seem far fetched that he would be on top of a canoe the whole trip across the Atlantic, and not get eaten by some sort of sea creature. It'll be interesting to see how they explain his trip over. I love the people that complain about the show still going on, yet they take time to watch it and or write a long drawn out comment on why they are right. Nobody cares, if you don't like the show, nobody is forcing you to watch it and we definitely DON'T wabt your opinion on it.
The Night House (2020)
Storyline destroyed by acting
This could have been a decent horror movie if they had done better with the casting. The lead actress was a major letdown, just not good. I don't recall seeing her in anything else, but if this was an indication of her skills, I won't be seeing many more of her films.she just seemed fake and didn't seem to have faith in the part she was playing.
