What If...? (2021)
Different, fresh and awesome
Great show. Fresh and exciting. Something to keep us going until the next big movie!
Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham: Scotland By Land, Air, and Sea (2021)
Awful
They just don't do anything. They show you where their going and then don't show you anything. They talk about places they hardly show on screen. You get to see Sam being an a*** to Graham and some awful banter. It's like a v-log of two mates driving around and deciding to record v-logs after they did anything. Worst episode so far.
The Woman in the Window (2021)
It started so well
The movie begins so well. It almost has the hitchcock feeling about it. Only to be spoiled in the final act with a teen horror movie conclusion. The end had no depth and was weak.
Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham: Culture & Tradition (2021)
As a scot, this is not a good show
It's like they gave two non local Scots a camera and said travel scotland and tell the world what you think. Let's hear from local Scots (with English accents) about stuff that isn't really Scottish. Let's visit Skye for sheep farming and ignore the history behind why sheep herding is a thing in Scotland... highland clearances anyone!? Sam's attempt at banter quite often comes across as rude and disrespectful. He acts like an American tourist with Scottish heritage. They also seem to forget that Scotland has a lot more than the borders. Hopefully the rest of the season is better and the book tells a better story.and.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Refreshing
A different take on the zombie genre, sure some things didn't make sense, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn't be surprised if the bad reviews are some kind of WB retaliation to Snyder for owning them on the JL re-release.
Just switch on and enjoy the right. Only thing I would have changed is allowing more of the subplots to develope.
Coming 2 America (2021)
Ignore the bad reviews
We loved this film, its a happy go lucky nostalgia fest and great family movie. People who hated it I imagine are the same people who dislike Harry and Megan, yep, those kind people. Just enjoy it for what it is and appreciate the work it takes to get this all star cast together.
Daybreak (2019)
Enjoyable
Don't take the show too seriously. Its good fun, different and enjoyable. Shame that its been cancelled, I guess Netflix couldn't see the potential
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Better than the first.
I watched this with my girlfriend. She had never seen the first.
I fondly remember the first movie being revolutionary, it was a world different from the other MCU movies.
After watching this, I went and watched the first again. I have to say I loved the sequel more.
This one was compelling and wonderful and also much darker. I especially liked the post credit scene that showed it's links to the MCU.
Brilliant, fun and exciting
Bates Motel (2013)
Psycho. Twisted, mental, brutal, romantic
Love makes us do crazy things. A retelling of the original, based on the original by Hitchcock.
I watched an usually get bored or find certain episodes boring. Not with this, it leaves your loving, hating and then loving all the characters, who are all victims of the same problem.
It has a class much like Hannibal but leaves you feelings of heartbreak and a cold peacefulness. Norman ultimately gets his wish.
Worth a watch
