REC meets ARACHNOPHOBIA...!!!
24 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The pacing is just right as builds up the tension and close counters vibes, makes u feel there is no space to run, let alone think & Push through the fear and get lost in the moment. Feel every crawling, jumping, panic and desperation to live, one spider at a time...

This was a debute full length film for this director and he pulled it off!!! Fantastic pacing and editing, starring a cast that has a natural chemistry, making them easily relatable...

Despite very good subtitles, If you understand French you get an extra layer of fun, as the dialogue is naturally fluid and chocked full of humour, with vicious slang and witty wordplay The visual effects are well executed and thanks to the lighting and editing, provide some exquisitely well-orchestrated stressful set pieces...

If you have a healthy fear of spiders this movie is going to hit you harder and make you feel more creeped out than any other insect movie & it's from the prestigious SHUDDER productions especially movie buffs are very much aware of this production house...

Overall if you could resist for 20 odd mins this movie could pull you out of somewhere genuinely...

Brothers ought to be brothers...!!!
24 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Loved great endings and movies nowadays endings are so sad While this movie has sacrifice, family and brotherhood all the way... This movie showed what true loyalty is in people...

This movie starts off as boring but as it unfolds while you continue watching it turns out very interesting... They start of as fishermen and end up as drug smugglers when they decide to do it as a once of thing because they don't have other means of income because their boat was compounded after fishing in Canadian waters illegally... it's a drama but over the top drama... It's shot well. It's great to see the local pub, wharf, neighborhood and our fishing fleet on the big screen...

There's times in this movie you forget you're watching a film, they nailed so much of natural life between all the characters and their lives.

Tommy Lee Jones delivers an Oscar worthy final act of the film... While Ben foster strangled with his natural classact... Jenna Ortega is okayish but a drug dealing business ain't convincing... While Toby Wallace who continually pulled me out of the movie with his exaggerated mannerisms...

It's as cool as a Boilmaker that eats your heart out give it a try if your fan of off beat tales & you won't be disappointed... Overall "You live , you die but the in between counts" & That's the beauty of "FINESTKIND"...

Bonding day is tomorrow...!!!
23 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Wes Ball infuses approach with a blend of fresh ideas and high-quality blockbuster appeal while maintaining the essence that has defined the franchise since its reboot does some good moments to cherish also some loop holes too...

The film follows Noa, a young chimpanzee, as he navigates a world reshaped by the actions of his ancestors and the current societal structures that have evolved among the ape communities... Through Noa's journey, the movie explores themes of unity, betrayal, and the quest for identity in a post-human world, providing a new dimension of character development and societal commentary...

Visual and Technical Mastery is one of the standout features of "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is its exceptional use of motion capture technology, which is highlighted as among the finest in the industry. The seamless integration of these performances with the stunningly reclaimed natural environments creates a visually phenomenal experience that pushes the boundaries of cinematic storytelling. The attention to detail in the depiction of both the apes and their surroundings adds a layer of immersion and realism that is critical to the film's impact...

Despite mastering the franchise technically brilliant one couldn't get connected to its core emotion that has been explored since its origin... The sudden appearance of human race & Apes conquering them except MAE is ain't convincing enough... The final act KING getting killed over by eagles is an absolute cheap thrills, whereas the emotional speech of Noa could have boosted the eagle clan to mass murder the King...

Overall though it has some illogical loopholes "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is not just a continuation of a beloved franchise but a thought-provoking exploration of legacy, power, and the quest for a better society...

Only for HARI fans...!!!
23 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Too much Gore, blood and killing in the name of fighting.. No logic behind anything.. Just for adrenaline rush one can watch...

This movie portrays that the police are useless and are paid hitmen for the highest bidder. It reflects really bad on the police.

The storyline could have been much better and the ending was speed forwarded with a lame ending. It's seems like a commercial movie that lost its momentum at its last quarter of its storyline...

Despite being cringe enough what forms a major drawback is that it lacks comedy which one could find good enough earlier films of HARI... Also HARI is too gutsy enough not chose any love track or one wouldn't believe this his first film with no romance or love tracks which is of highly appreciable...

Also HARI & Iyengar family are inseparable which he follows in this film too... Vishal has lost his charisma.....the dialogue delivery is like a drunkard speaking.....his mind is not involved fully towards the movie's momentum...

Overall ONLY FIGHTS CANNOT SAVE A MOVIE.... I THINK HARI HAS ALSO LOST HIS TOUGH..... OVERALL ITS A BELOW AVERAGE MOVIE so do watch it under your own risk...

Shakhahaari (2024)

An immersive thriller that depends upon lead cast to win...!!!
23 May 2024
How some random events turn an innocent into a criminal...Keeping the thread of how he fights for his existence, "Sakhahari" finally comes to a climax giving a logical end to everything... "Shakahaari" takes unexpected turns and keeps the suspense going till the climax. If the narrative and screenplay had been speeded up according to the story of the movie, there was a possibility that "Shakhahari" would have touched the hearts of the audience more quickly and effectively. However, it can be said that the effort of the film team to present a new story to the audience has been successful here...

Now the credit goes to actors Rangayana Raghu and Gopalkrishna Deshpande who carried the entire movie on their roles till the end. Rangayana Raghu as a cook Bhatt and Gopalkrishna Deshpande as a police inspector are heartwarming performances. New talents like Vinay and Nidhi Hegde grabbed attention in their first attempt, while Sujay Shastri brought laughter to the audience every now and then. Other than that, the performances of the other actors are decent...

Technically, the cinematography and background music of the movie attract attention. Those who want to support the efforts of newcomers and those who are different from the usual movies can see "Sakhahari" once...

Overall A crime there was, but it was not at all what I was expecting. In that sense, debutant director Sandeep Sunkad's film came across as a pleasant surprise. The premise that played out was not bad at all, but took its own sweet time to reach the classact...

Four random people to hide one specific target...!!!
22 May 2024
Written for the screen and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, brings a sense of authenticity and grittiness to the film... As well as a compelling mystery narrative that I was surprisingly invested with!!!

Tom Cruise - with his wit and toughness blended together could fit into this role as the story demands effortlessly... The way he fights The way he seen small details The way he hide his self from everything Amazing story line and loved this character name Jack Reacher Played by tom cruise...

Werner Herzog channels his inner James Bond villain and gives a truly chilling performance!

Rosemund pike is gorgeous talented and properly cast but the chemistry & vibe between the leads is unconvincing...

One of the strongest aspects of the film is the action sequences, which are well-executed and intense... However, the film falls short in terms of character development other than tom... Additionally, the film's storyline follows a fairly predictable formula, which may feel stale or uninspired to some viewers. Having said that, the plat was good and inspired a good mystery...

Overall an above average movie to flushout your weekend crave for movies...

The World is flat...!!!
22 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Direction n research was top notch, appreciate vipul shah to have funded such a valiant effort n all performances in the movie were stirring, it was a technically well made film for us indians to know how our tribals r suffering at the hands of organised gang who xploit natural resources under the garb of nonsensical revolution...

it's actually organised drug n arms racket, we need to support such movies through our theatre viewership so that breaking india forces r xposed on celluloid thru such brilliant & continuous efforts so that not only our govt is indicate in their efforts but also our systems that are infested with such rabid & toxic philosophies who holds no bias when it comes to money...

Bollywood in fact has made few movies on naxals like Newton and Chakravyuh that actually celebrates Naxalites.... This movie is tight slap on those creators...

This movie is extremely truthful to the subject depicting violent chapter of Bharat that lasted for more then 5 decades. Very unsettling and disturbing scenes drawing naked portrayal of heart wrenching violence. It also shows how left liberals, pseudo seculars, woks, communists/Maoist have penetrated in almost every sector, be it judicial, academics, literature, journalism and bollywood...

If movies like " ANIMAL " plotted unnecessary violence, vulgarity and nuidity....... Our young generation are accepted with positive feedback... The Amount of violence shown in Baster movie should be very much acceptable to make more realistic feelings of the scenario...

Bizarrely amusing mess of a film...!!!
22 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The fight choreography was fun and inventive, when the camera wasn't shaking around the scene. It became clear that the director was inspired by video games and the HUNGER GAMES, with some JOHN WICK thrown into the mix. The tone is all over the place...

The humour almost never sticks to the story becomes overly complex for what it should be... With a lack of character development and world-building, it never really pulled out untill the end...

If you're expecting a kill fest you got it here & definitely up there with top end fight scenes especially Yayan Ruhian from the RAID movies he goes on the well-tread path of revenge & the last one on one b/w Bill was top notch... Bill Skarsgård is one of the few performers who can own a scene without speaking a word...

This movie is fairly predictable but is fun and worth watching once. This movie pushes the violence out to the edge...While the killing is very graphic, filled with action sequences, and wonderful actors...

Overall watch out if you crave for some good stunts or better skip out...

It's time to retire for JVCD...!!!
21 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Van Damme continues his late career streak of good performances, but unfortunately Darkness of Man suffers with minimal action and one of JCVD's weakest...

Van Damme is older and understandably one should not expect him to be quite as fast or agile but even taking that into account, every fight scene is rinse and repeat with Van Damme either standing in place and firing his pistol or slowly punching out one henchman at a time. This might be the only Van Damme where he doesn't throw a single kick...

The film blends elements of an out-and-out action film and an L. A. noir-themed film. The movie at its core is about a relationship and it stays true to it throughout the film... This film also needs him to do some compassionate scenes and he aces them beautifully too. His acting prowess is underrated but in this film, he shows off a whole range of emotions...

The film has many twists and turns and the final suspense is mind-blowing. The makers of the film have made sure that the storytelling and screenplay never take a backseat in this action-dominant film...

Overall the movie has nothing to offer but perhaps embrace the most iconic star of Hollywood for one last time...

The future hasn't happened yet for "MADAME WEB"...!!!
21 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Madame web must have been written by an ardent teenager who happens to be a fan of MARVELS... The narrative of the story doesn't make sense, the sequence, NONE IF IT WORKS!!!

Just driving around in a stolen cab around town and to the airport, the sudden trip to Peru. And the perfect timing of her return to fend off the bad guy, it's just so so bad. It's really unbelievable how bad the writing really is, and then the cringey acting on top of it all is just so disappointing. Hopefully all the criticism will help those who need the change in Hollywood. Because this movie is TRASH! It will go down as the worst superhero movie of all time. Absolutely disgraceful...

The storyline, if it can be called that, revolves around a man haunted by a dream, leading to a nonsensical chase, a premise that lacks both originality and coherence...

Overall Madame Web is a film that might be worth a watch when it's available at no cost but even then be warned that it's two hours you won't get back...

Sandalwood need more films like "BLINK"...!!!
21 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
It is a matter of happiness that some of the new talents who are entering Sandalwood are not sticking to the stereotypes of the film industry and are open to innovation. The recent 'Blink' is another movie on the same path...

But the number of movies based on time travel concept in Kannada is less. Now 'Blink' is also one such a time traveling movie. Here the protagonist Apoorva (Dixit) gets stuck in time traveling and wanders between past-present-future. He learns many facts about his birth. He struggles to correct past events in his life. How is that Why? Forms the rest of plot...

Director Srinidhi Bangalore has chosen a very sensitive story for the movie 'Blink'. The equipment used for time traveling in different movies has also changed here. There is a touch of theater in the movie as the entire team comes from theater background. 'Oedipus Rex' is a clever use of the Greek play 'Blink'. As the story takes place in different time periods, the color tone of the movie changes accordingly. Special mention goes to the cinematography (Avinash Shastri), editing (Sanjeev) and music composition (Prasannakumar MS)...

The narration of the movie is not smooth and there is confusion. The director gives the audience a lot of mind- bending work to do...So, even if you pay attention while watching the movie, twists and thrills are guaranteed to be missed. In the first 20 minutes of the movie, you don't know what is happening. After that, the race goes on in the same way until the climax...

Actor Dixit Shetty in a unique role grabs everyone's attention...Dedicates himself to another different role of being torn between past-present-future. Also, Vajradhir Jain, Gopal Deshpande, Suresh Anagalli, Soumashree, Kiran Nayak who played the role of Arivu all performed well. Actress Mandara's performance as Apoorva's girlfriend is good. Actress Chaitra Achar in the role of Devaki has given a terrific performance as usual...

Overall a phenomenal attempt by a new team of passionate movie making craftsmen & we do need to encourage the upcoming talents...

It's a typical Park chan-wo(r)k...!!!
21 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The Handmaiden is a visually stunning masterpiece that will leave you breathless. Set in 1930s Korea during Japanese colonial rule, the film is a gripping and suspenseful tale of deception, betrayal, and unexpected love...

The acting in The Handmaiden is top-notch, with Kim Tae-ri and Kim Min-hee delivering captivating performances as Sook-hee and Lady Hideko, respectively. The chemistry between them is electric, and their characters are complex and layered, making for a fascinating watch...

Director Park Chan-wook masterfully weaves together a tale of intrigue and desire, with unexpected twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The Handmaiden is a bold and provocative film that explores themes of power, gender, and sexuality in a way that is both thought-provoking and entertaining...

The creation goes beyond the periphery of societal understanding as well as lies and truth. The genre should be drama and romance as it is a story of love between a noble lady and her handmaiden. The movie is separated in three consecutive chapters and each chapter has its own shocking revelation as well as taste of emotions such as lust, anger, happiness etc...

What truly amazed me was the production Design. For me the mansion plays a greater role in the plot development of the film. It had so many symbolism and whenever each room opens another secret unfolds...

Overall it's strictly only for those who loves the art of Park chan wook...

It's FAFA's show all the way...!!!
20 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
An out and out entertainer by Jithu Madhavan after Romancham... FaFaa's performance was just mind-blowing His swag just ruled the screen with his powerful performance, Especially when he says the cult dialogue " Eda mwone" theatre was full on the blast what a man of style over substance...The last 20 mins is real goosebumps moments to burst out...

Debut casting of Hipzter,Mithun JaiSankar and Roshan Shahnavaz with their impressive performance and timing stands out throughout the movie...While Sajin's performance equally levelled with Fahad's swag and his humour timings and mannerisms was terrific...

Jithu Madhavan got a feather on his cap again and he proved as a Director brand in Mollywood...Sameer Thahir's Frames with Sushin's Background Score was simply fantabulous... Kudos to Anwar Rasheed & Nazriya for bankrolling this powerpacked entertainer...

Though the first half takes time to settle down the screenplay is in fine form getting you crave for more... But the amount of cigars & liquors displayed in first half could have been avoided at a larger scale inspite we know it's gangster subject to be generous it's bit overdose of alcohol & tobacco...

What else it's Mollywood winning streak continues & they are enjoying a large amount of success as their priorities or thirst for good plots is something out of the box...

Srikanth (2024)

Be good & Do good...!!!
20 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Born in small village in Andhra Pradesh to understand poverty parents, who was about to get buried alive by his father because of being born blind, Srikanth is the story of a visually impaired child by birth who with his firm belief in himself and God gifted super intelligence breaks all barriers and hurdles to obtain a degree from MIT, Boston United States and comes back to India and at present runs a private company manufacturing recycled paper worth more than INR 100 crores turnover...

In his journey towards his success he his aided by his teacher Devika (portrayed by Jyotika) and business partner Ravi (portrayed Sharad Kelkar) who are there with him like his pillar of strength and play their role convincingly. In his college days Srikanth comes across, the late Indian President Dr Abdul Kalam Azad who thinks Srikanth has great potential and in front of whom Srikanth proudly says that he wants to be the first visually impaired President of India. Another notable incident in his life comes when he returns his award of 'Business Excellence' because he gets nominated in special category...

On the stage he firmly says that he would not accept the award on the basis of any special category. He would only accept the award if he is nominated with the rest of the nominees in the general category. It is Srikanth's confidence which help him build his business empire called Bollant Industries...

Kudos to the director of the movie, Tushar Hiranandani for making a movie on such a profound subject. The movie is captivating with the mind-blowing performances by the starcast, intense dialogues and screenplay, and the rendition of the very apt song 'Papa kehtay hain bada naam karega' (remixed from the original movie, Aamir Khan's QSQT) which plays in the background most of the times in the first and the second half of the movie...

Rajkumar Rao justifies the role in more than many ways and his dialogue delivery along with his nuances get you to smile through and through. He is just BRILLIANT!!

Sharad Kelkar and Jyothika are perfect in their supporting roles. The rest also value add in their own way in redefining the movie...

People like Srikanth are not only an inspiration to those with special needs but more to us. It's we who need to learn from them and look at them as one of our own. The movie is a wonderfully told tale of grit and determination and successfully goes on to establish one more important point- people with special needs do not need our sympathy. They need a fair chance, that's all that is there.

Overall Srikant 2024" is more than just a movie; it's a cinematic tour de force that leaves a lasting impression on all who experience it. With its compelling story, stellar performances, and technical brilliance, it rightfully earns its place among the greatest films of all time...

A funny but cliches zombie movie...!!!
20 May 2024
If you're looking for something simple and easy to watch though, this film will certainly scratch that itch. Will it go down as one of the best zombie movies out there... Despite setting its plot during the Spanish Civil War and having enough mentions of the war and its effects, the rest of its parts, the ones defining its genre, are quite entertainingly unrealistic...

"Valley of the Dead" does not really do anything new, as Nazis and zombies have been mixed together a number of times in popular culture before... The movie follows the standard Zombie flick formula with one or two twists, Its Spanish civil war setting is not something never seen before. It offers a tie in with Nazi experimentation and creation of zombies, as a biological weapon... But then this is a drama that runs primarily on exposition, shoot zombies, run from zombies, repeat, find out who's behind it all and try to stop them...

Not to mention particular character coz overall casting did some fine natural performance elevating the movie & keeping it's soul at a brisk pace... While the characters are a bit schematic, the dialogue is crispy, amusing, and makes the characters more alive. All in all BG eing a low budgeted as one would expect, not of a high standard - but it manages to be cleverly entertaining...

Commercially Vasantha Balan gets a breathe of fresh air...!!!
19 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Recent Tamil web series "SUZHAL" "VILANGU" & "VADHANDHI" have been released and are surprising the fans. Webseries starring film directors and famous actors are quality and attention-grabbing... Being a web series with a political plot, the portion till the end is very interesting and makes you curious about what will happen next. All the actors are well known and the webseries moves in a thrilling manner without any flaw in anyone's performance...

Adukalam Kishore is intimidating in his performance as the Chief Minister keeps subtle yet powerful as always while Bharath, Darsha Gupta, Ramya Nambeesan's performances are okayish... Shreya Reddy holds the equal space & importance as Kishore & she does it at ease keeping the pace of the screenplay at a brisk...

Jayamohan's dialogues are the strengths of the webseries. Gibran's background score is also a explores the plot with ace...

As usual, this webseries has the same length problem as usual. The story, which was meant to be completed in 6 episodes, may have been stretched to 8 episodes for the sake of length. Also, some confusion at some places hinders the flow of the story. Apart from some flaws, fans can definitely enjoy watching this webseries as a political thriller webseries...

Directed by Vasanthabalan, the series also explored through some pertinent topics, like feudalism versus rebel groups, and uprising of the extremist groups... The script also does not have enough meat to create a gripping narrative, with enough twists and turns & the web series feels overly formulaic...

In a crucial scene, one of the characters says, "Hindi theriyadhu poda-adharku badhilaa, naamum Hindi kathupome" The web series is bankrolled by actor-producer and BJP member Radikaa Sarathkumar. Now, you get the idea. You really do!!!

Overall a decent attempt that travels the true face of modern day politics with usual formulaic cliches...

Life rarely turns out of how you expect...!!!
19 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is a character study that really takes its time developing Pearl, and watching her sanity unravel. Mia Goth gives an Oscar worthy performance here and really helps this movie be something so special...

Rest of the characters who does movie in & out contribute to her unraveling in different ways, though not necessarily through any fault of their own especially Tandi Wright's portrayal of Pearl's mother, a woman who is very oldschool in needing Pearl to appreciate what she has, and not to dream beyond being a hardworker on the farm and taking care of her family. She plays the main antagonist here, and there are some truly great scenes with the two in the power struggle...

Mia Goths performance where we the audience are like How on earth did she deliver that unnerving too good for comfort insanely method performance? Seriously Mia Goths performance has to be seen to be believed! And if like me you relish in top notch astonishing method performances on the big screen where the actor/actress removes their celebrity mask and totally embodies the character, do not miss Mia Goths performance as Pearl in the cinema...

It's a beautiful heart-breaking story with a sprinkle of gothic elements. Every chapter has an epigraph, and it is invariably a cute rhyme... The author has brilliantly portrayed the mental trauma Pearl goes through, throughout her life...

One fantastic scene was a 10 minute long monologue with Mia going through all the emotions one person can possibly have and she does it with absolute perfection. And the following scene is why this movie is like no other movie that blows you away from the cliff if she doesn't get the deserved recognition...

Nothing else to reveal as you have a lot of thrilling intense moments to cherish... Overall "Pearl" - a truly unique, captivating, and impeccable piece of work...

Tennis had never been so sexy...!!!
19 May 2024
Luca Guadagnino unique vision and direction bring this complex character study to life. The script is ambitious in its structure, successfully jumping back and forth in time, culminating in one of the hottest tennis matches ever saw on a silver screen...

The soundtrack is already one of my favorite overall albums of the year...The score pushes the intensity of the flick to the next level & makes you exaggerated in regular intervals...

Zendaya, who co-produced this movie, She's great in this movie by any measure, confidently playing a character who is sexy, defiant and manipulative but never a villain... As usual, it's impossible to keep your eyes off of Zendaya as she commands each scene with her impeccable charisma & her expressions is a stress buster to watch inspite of lengthy runtime... The chemistry between Josh O'Connor and Michael David Faist Is electric...

The casting does a terrific job transmitting the inner intensity of the characters, often without dialog and sometimes through simply playing tennis...For a non-tennis fan the witty delivery of the nail-biting calls during the hot, sweaty climax will take you at the edge of my seat...

Challengers really doesn't have anything profound about the sport itself or the people who play it but It's the equivalent of a three course meal where every course is dessert...

Overall "Challengers" takes Tennis to a whole new level, but not in a good way like Venus and Serena do but keeps you invested for a genuine piece of entertainment...

Sometimes Life turns into something intended...!!!
18 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
A rare movies that don't let you sleep after watching them. You spend hours thinking about the end, what if this happened or what...But you don't stop thinking, you keep digging into it because it was so intriguing that it demands your attention ever after hours have passed...

It is compelling, dark, gripping, greedy, selfish and all other moral traumas that come with the feeling of dissatisfaction and revenge. The movie is filled with a lot of symbolism in the plot that drive the narrative of the drama forward and gives it different perspective and layers of the two main characters...

A morality of HOW DOES IT FEELS WHEN YOU EXPECT SOME PERSON TO BE THERE FOR YOU AND THAT PERSON CHOOSE NOT TO BE THERE is masterfully weaves together multiple narratives, blurring the lines between reality and fiction...

Ford's view of humanity is that we are all animals willing to turn on each other in savage ways. It's so telling that every work of "art" in the movie is hideous... The searing moments of beauty in the work are the works of nature...clouds in the desert, the desert landscape, a tree pinned against a darkening sky...

The mesmerizing performances from Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon make it worth a watch despite it's bleak and depressing story... Especially Aaron Taylor is so creepy in this movie that he genuinely gets under your skin...

The ambiance is dark, aided by the thrilling background score and the depiction of night time in the movie and the horrors that it hides. The movie leaves you terrified for the night for a long time...

Overall "Nocturnal Animals" is a thought-provoking exploration of love, loss, revenge, and the power of art. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, engages you emotionally, and leaves you pondering its themes long after it ends...

Silly yet funny commercial package...!!!
18 May 2024
The action is-well, it's Zack Snyder, so the action is fabulous. There are few filmmakers who can direct action as well as Snyder, or who intuitively understand the way a given character will react and perform during big action beats, and he is all-in on the action spectacle and sharply drawn characterizations for Army of the Dead...

All the performances and characters were great. Zack Snyder did a great job with taking time to explore these characters and making their backstory interesting... Dave Bautista really stands out in this film. His character was extremely interesting in this film. This might be his best performance yet..

Zack Snyder's cinematography was as always beautiful. Every shot was absolutely magnificent. The guy knows how to do excellent camera work... The story was creative and exhilarating. Every action scene was an absolute blast to watch...

Though illogical zombies were extremely interesting and they weren't just a monster that walks around for someone to shoot at. Zack Snyder did a lot of creative things with them. How there were different types and all that kind of stuff. It was really interesting and Zack Snyder did really well with the world building in this movie...

Overall forget about critics negative reviews but watch it for Zack Snyder who never disappoints & with a strong morality of Money is all what the world is filled with is an absolute treat to watchout...

This is a typical family pack...!!!
17 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Direction of Laxman utekar was really great and dialogues are also well written and at climax gives the message " Ghar sirf apne saath logon se banta" watch the movie once you will love it all the way... It leads a very simple but catching story with everything from laughter to drama to emotions this is a family pack proves the life quote of simple movie for simple people showing simplicity of simple/ common people...Kudos to Laxman utekar for bringing out the strength of joint family especially in a modern day where divorces prevail like a mumps in the society...

The chemistry and candid moments between Sara and Vicky is well done and the family support & bonding is on point...Though the storyline was predictable and routine but the movie keeps you entertained with some of comedy scenes...

Music and songs are really amazing and beautiful especially Phir aur kya chaiye hai and Tere vaaste where top notch thanks to lyrics of Amitabh Bhattacharya & golden vocal lend by Varun jain...

Overall a must see movie from Bollywood as It delves into the dynamics of small-town joint families, housing issues, and government schemes, all with a touch of exaggeration...

Warning: Spoilers
Striking surprisingly with a single-location thriller without a dialogue "MONSTER" is an Indonesian thriller that promises to be a spine-chilling roller coaster ride...

The performances, while not outright terrible, also leave much to be desired. Marsha Timothy and the rest of the cast do their best with the material they're given, but ultimately, they're let down by a lackluster script and uninspired direction...

Director Prijanto has certainly made a name for himself in the world of Indonesian cinema...However "Monster" feels like a step backward in terms of innovative script... What carries the movie is the kids presence of mind and the fact that they are bold enough to face the situation...

Occasionally, just occasionally, there are moments of brilliance that catch your eye and leave you momentarily dazzled. The eerie lighting in certain scenes, and the claustrophobic framing as our protagonists navigate their nightmare, are the glimpses of potential that keep you hanging on. But for every striking composition, there are ten others that feel uninspired and flat. It's as if the cinematographer took a nap halfway through shooting and only woke up to capture the good stuff...

Monster" is its failure to deliver on the promise of horror and suspense. Sure, there are a few jump scares here and there, but they feel cheap and uninspired. Where's the tension???

Also the two main antagonist doesn't seems to be vulnerable enough but atlast it's the kids that seems to be anti-monster campaigners...

Overall a typical popcorn movie to timeout ur weekend relaxation...

Ransomed (2023)

A Genuine feel-good movie...!!!
17 May 2024
Ransomed is a captivating film that combines the thrilling true story of a real-life hostage situation with creative imagination. Director Kim Sung Hoon, known for his ability to portray intense struggles in films like" A Hard Day " &" Tunnel", shines once again in this gripping suspense...

One of the great strengths of "Ransomed" is that it doesn't try to do too much and keeps a good balance. It doesn't rely too heavily on humor or push for tears. The movie strikes a perfect balance as it takes us through the hostage rescue process with a delightful mix of lighthearted humor between the characters, thrilling action sequences, and a gentle touch of emotion stemming from the personal growth of the characters...

Ransomed delivers a perfect blend of humor and action that makes it an enjoyable summer flick. Moreover, with thrilling car chases set in 1980s Lebanon, it offers a refreshing and exhilarating time...

Also with few lead characters Director manages the pace seamlessly with effective camera work that holds the soul of the flick & Not to forget the actors did a fantastic job not to say in particular...

Guy Ritchie finds pleasure doin business...!!!
16 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Ritchie presents his first film grounded in harsh real-world politics, "THE COVENANT" and it's the best film he's made in years... While not based on a true story, the film is inspired by the many true, tragic stories of Afghan interpreters who worked with the United States military for more than 20 years, were promised visas and then left to fend for themselves in a hostile country after the U. S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021...

Ritchie and co-writers Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies have crafted a story that fits into his humanity point of view, about the deals made between men and the sacred responsibility to hold up one's end of the bargain... What unfolds is an unbelievable tale of survival, sacrifice and redemption, a male melodrama about bonds and bargains forged in blood...When Ahmed and John find themselves alone in the wilderness, John mortally wounded, hunted by the Taliban, Ahmed drags him back to the base at great risk to his own safety. It's a lifesaving act of love, generosity and sacrifice that delivers John back home and leaves Ahmed on the run with his wife and baby, hunted by the Taliban for killing their soldiers and collaborating with an American... But at the very end there's a definition that illuminates the title and underlines the film's thesis: the word "covenant," defined as a bond, a pledge, a commitment...

John(Jake Gyllenhaal)is racked with guilt, haunted by memory, frustrated at the bureaucracy that fails to deliver the visas they promised, and he takes matters into his own hands, going outside the system at his own expense, knowing that the only way to repay his debt is with the same kind of personal risk and potential sacrifice... While Dar Salim is simply great fits into the role effortlessly as his body mannerism helps out a lot & moreover the striking pace of the film comes to his aide...

Overall a passionate movie to watch out from a passionate movie maker...

Is everything made off beat is so called ART movie...!!!

Warning: Spoilers
A noteworthy thing to mention is that the long shots. Just like a CCTV camera captures real events, the director has captured the performance of the actors by traveling along with them. So the scenes in the film are very realistic without any drama. Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan deserves appreciation for presenting the actors Tovino and Sudev, who have acted more in commercial films, in front of the audience with the perfection that the story demands in this film...

Fight is also unique in that it gives the audience a chance to interpret the story in their own way as opposed to the systematic notion of imposing the director's vision on the audience.

Every person Siddharth meets has a reflection of himself. The director has brought his goodness, cruelty, fear and insecurity to the screen through other characters. A special feature of the film is that it gives the audience a chance to interpret the story in their own way, as opposed to the systematic concept of imposing the director's vision on the audience...

Humans are able to express emotions more effectively than any other creature in the universe. Man's advantage in this regard is that language and more civilized societies have a script. We can say whatever we want and convey it to others. Yet there are misunderstandings among humans that are not evident among any other species.

No matter how close we are, sometimes we cannot understand each other. It would be better not to try to understand...
