As usual, Lance Henriksen was as outstanding as he always is. The description did not give any "spoilers", This film is full of allegory and metaphor. The tension element was basically throughout the film. It was not too obvious about their past that had to be confronted. Lance Henriksen's acting was superb, and the supporting actor (his son) was quite good.
The ending was left up to the viewer as to what was what. I expected the father and son reunion and conversation, but the way it was developed took a dark turn and yet it was beautiful. My husband and I are devoted Lance Henriksen fans and this is, far and away, the best film we've watched so far.
