I thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a film from beginning to end! The actors were all so fun to watch. There were a lot of good funny moments. I thought they were all very good and played off of each other so well! I never found myself getting bored or my mind wonder off (that is a very good sign for me when rating a film). Kudos to writer/director Travis Grenke. He wore a number of hats on this project (he was the editor as well). The pacing of this film was terrific. It moved along super well which is so important and it kept the funny at really nice clip without getting zany or too out there. So for me, this one clearly gets a thumbs up! Bravo folks! Well done!

Terrific Indie Film

This was such a good film! It was a good film for me on multiple levels. I really enjoyed the actors. I thought they were all quite good and compelling. Rebecca Creskoff was outstanding as Nora. I really enjoyed her performance. Rob Benedict was also quite good as Michael. These two were very entertaining throughout the film. The story was written by Seana Kofoed and it is terrific. I think it's a surprisingly solid mix of comedy, blended with some horror, coupled with drama and some thriller thrown in there to round things out. I thought the film moved along at a good pace. My interest was held throughout. I didn't find myself consistently checking messages on my iPhone, lol. So for me, this film most definitely gets a thumbs up!

Wonderful indie film!

A truly wonderful indie film from beginning to end. Absolutely terrific acting. I really enjoyed Baz Black who played Bonehead. In addition he wrote and directed this gem of a film. No easy task but he pulled this feat off masterfully well! Actually I thought all the acting was spot on. Colleen Keogh was exceptional as Lizzy. The story was quite good and it certainly held my interest throughout. I never found my mind wonder off nor did I find any flat spots. The film moved along at a really nice clip. Bravo folks! You all did a really solid job! This little gem clearly gets a thumbs up from me!

Such a fun romp!

This was such a fun, fun, fun movie to watch!! Natasha Hall (played by Cat Black) is so enjoyable and entertaining. Ms. Black really carries the film. I'm not trying to take anything away from the other actors. To the contrary, I thought all of the acting was quite good. There were some very fun characters for sure. However, Ms. Black just really stood out to me. The story I felt was quite good and it moved along at a really nice pace. I didn't find myself drifting off. I think it was thanks to the various encounters and situations Natasha Hall would find herself ending up in. Also, solid camera work. I give high marks to the camera crew. I liked the look and way the movie was shot. This movie gets a thumbs up from me!!

Holy cow! This film is just exceptional! Lets begin with the acting because if that sucks we're all done right??!! The two leads were out of this world incredibly good. Their chemistry was sensational. This is what held me and kept me glued in. Great casting for sure, my hats off to the casting director. This is wonderful storytelling on every level. Bravo to writer/director Hassan Said! I found zero flat spots in this gem of a film. Loved the pacing it moved along at a really nice pace. Clearly this film gets a thumbs up from me. Well done folks! You should all be very proud of yourselves on this very fine film you all have produced!!

Wonder Sci-Fi fun!

This is such a fun film! I thoroughly enjoy indie Sci-Fi and this gem delivers in a huge way! It was such a pleasant surprise. The story captured me out of the gate. Kudos to writer/director David M. Parks. He wrote a well thought out story and couples it with good pacing. The movie clips along at a good pace. I didn't find any dead spots or areas that I felt were dragging. I loved the acting! The actors were all so good. The leads were outstanding. They had wonderful chemistry and were all so believable. I enjoyed this film a lot! I give it a solid thumbs up!! Well done folks, you should all be very proud of yourselves!!

This film is just terrific! I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed the full range of the characters. They were a hoot! Whoever did the casting did a wonderful job. I though all the cast was very well suited for their roles. I very much enjoyed Natasha Hall played by Cat Black. Cat Black was excellent in this role. She was very convincing and was the glue that held everything together in my book. I enjoyed Eric Roberts character too but I've always been an Eric Roberts fan. The pacing was good in this film. This goes to the credit of writer/director Joe Black who also played Bobby Hoffman in the film. The film moved along at a nice clip and never hit any flat spots in my book. This one gets a solid thumbs up from me!

A diet documentary that makes sense

I have tried to eat clean for as long as I can remember. I've done so all on my own. I've Googled various fad or popular diets to see what they're about and have occasionally incorporated some of them into my eating plan. But for me, it's always been by the seat of of pants. What I particularly enjoyed with this documentary is that it did a great job in breaking down the various popular diet plans. I thought I had a good understanding of them but I began to realize I wasn't as well informed as I first thought. I appreciated how I felt I wasn't being led in one direction or another. But rather, here are the pluses and minuses and you can decide what diet plan works best for you. The experts featured were good and entertaining. They held my interest, they were very well informed. I clearly give this documentary a thumbs up!

Terrific indie film

This is how indie films are supposed to be! Original, thought provoking, edgy and out of the box filmmaking. I thoroughly enjoy watching indie films but quite often its a miss. That's not the case with Broken City. This gem of a thriller keeps you dialed in from beginning to end. That's thanks to director Terry Spears and the writing of Jonathan M. Smith. These two gentlemen have woven together a smart, well done movie. The movie has great pacing. I find there's nothing more annoying in a film if it drags. That's a huge turnoff for me and I most likely will bounce. Not so here! Kudos to director Spears. Also, wonderful casting! I found the actors to be believable and right for their roles. I very much enjoyed the actor who played Andy, Ronnie Angel. A thumbs up from me on this one!!

I've always been a sucker for checking out newly released indie Sci-Fi films, Sadly, many disappoint but one has to applaud the gallant effort of all those involved. However, Hemisphere comes through in flying colors. I watched the trailer which captured my curiosity and set the stage nicely for the film. Writer/director Chris Maes does a wonderful job in storytelling and moving the plot along. The pacing of the film is really good. It's no easy trick to write, direct and act in your own film. But Chris Maes pulls it off terrifically well. The two lead actresses were great. There was good chemistry and their acting was on point! For me, it had in a film what I was looking for and I give it a solid thumbs up!!

My hat is off to the entire cast and crew of this thoroughly wonderful and enjoyable indie film. It is no easy task in shooting a period piece and yet these highly talented folks were able to do it masterfully well! The acting, storytelling, costuming and cinematography were all spot on! I have to give it for Lana Antropova who wrote, directed, produced and was the lead actress! Holy cow! How she was able to do all of these tasks at such a superb level is mind blowing. She was amazing as Madame Blavatsky. I thought the whole cast was terrific. They all did a wonderful job in my book. They were believable and fit their characters well. Bravo to all the talented folks that help put together this fine indie film!

This fun ride of a film grabs you out of the gate and doesn't let go. I enjoyed this gem of a film from beginning to end which is not easy to do. This thriller will suck you in and keep you engaged throughout the ride. The acting, the storyline and how the film was shot were all spot on. I thought all the actors were just terrific! I particularly enjoyed the lead actors. I thought they were really good. They all did a splendid job. Hats off to the cinematographer. This film was well shot which isn't alway's the case for indie films. I clearly give this film a big thumbs up! Also, my wife enjoy it which says a lot!!

My hat is off to the talented film production team that put together this little gem of a film. I thought the actors all did a very good job! I enjoyed in particular the two main lead actors. The male lead actor was quite good. But for me, there were no dips in the lineup. All the actors came across as being believable. I enjoyed the story too. I found myself wanting to rush ahead to get to the end to see how it all will play out. I wasn't disappointed. I don't want to spoil it but the ending came as a surprise. A good surprise. So again, my hat is off to this Ramon Swift and his talented group of filmmakers who made this terrific indie film!

My wife and I were in the mood for something fun and this little gem did the trick. This film hit all the key boxes for us... The story was good, the acting was good and the film moved along at a really nice pace. There we were no areas that were dragging to us. Well done folks!

This is such a good film! Writter/Director/Actor Ahcitz Azcona did an incredible job! It's hard enough to direct a film... but to also play a prominent role as an actor is a whole other thing! All the acting in this film is top notch! The film has a wonder look and story too! This film for sure gets a thumbs up from me!

I enjoy indie films and I tend to watch a lot of them. I enjoy them because every once in a while you come upon a little gem. Well for me, that's how I feel about this wonderful indie film. I loved the story and the acting. The acting was spot on and the story very relatable. Great job all. You get a thumb's up from me on this one.
