This was very painful and confusing to watch. It seemed to bounce all over the place, lacking the ability to make a strong point anywhere. The pacing is horrible. It's still on at this moment but I'm so bored, I thought that I'd rant. This piece of work looks like is was made for under $1000. (I'd bet most of that was taken up by the $700 camera and construction lights they used to light the interviews, God knows they saved nothing for post.) Whoever mad this...please choose another career. I'm not being sarcastic...I'm serious. I'm falling asleep trying to stay interested in what I thought was a fascinating subject. -bleh!

Tears of Crap

I just bought the DVD on a whim. I wasted 14 bucks. -The DP was totally uncreative. -The score was unbearably overdone with mellowdramatic strings playing throughout every painful minute.I'm not kidding! -Gee, a Bruce Willis movie where he is the rugged, sensitive, mortally wounded hero fighting all odds. How imaginative. Way to show your diversity Bruce!

-You'd think since he'd produced it, he could for once step down and not take a lead role. I used to like you but you are such a one trick horse. -The chick was lame and unconvincing. The story line even worse. I'm trading it in at the pawnshop for the JAWS special edition DVD.

Congo (1995)
um yeah...

Basically Chrichton gives us a well written account of some incredible events that took place in 1979, in the Congo....an fantastic read as most of his novels are. Years later, Hollywood successfully destroys another fine novel. I remeber specifically asking myself "...did I actually read this book?....what the f* #@ is this?"
