Abraham Lincoln (2022)

I saw this the last 2 days. What an incredible film, this is absolutely For Ages eight through high school and for adults as well It is a look at his life and the 13th Amendment And the Civil War on the end of the Civil War. This is one incredible film. It's not a feature film per se. More like a documentary at feature film length.

I would recommend that you don't show it to children under the age of say eight or nine just because of the intensive history involved here I have to say the filmmakers at me actors in this movie we're nebulous and incredible The one thing I got out of this film was how stressed Abraham Lincoln was towards the end of his first term. His eyes were sunken in he ha pale complexion. The man had more stress upon his shoulders than any human should ever have.

My friends, this is not a movie for children. I wouldn't even say NC17. This is for adults and adults only due to the extreme violent nature of this film and intense subject matter that is not appropriate for children. Extreme foul language

This is about a plot to Assonate the south 🇰🇷 president by the north I can not state it more strongly enough this is NOT a film for Children It will give them horrible nightmare,s 😢 It is emotionally challenging for children to deal with so please use good judgment i would say NC17 It is a great film for adults only . And not for anyone with emotional issues.

Woman in Gold (2015)

Folks I would say that this is not a film for children not because it's violent it's not at all but it's very deep and intense there's a lot of historical context here that children under 13 or 14 are not going to understand I am almost 51 and I had trouble following it to some extent

I believe it was Helen mirren who played the lady in gold the storyline was this woman in Los Angeles who was born in Austria during the war but with the Austrian government to get an a painting that her of her aunt back from the government that was stolen by the Nazis

I want to say more but I cannot to do so would be a spoiler

This is one of those films that's very well done with a very good storyline that is based on actual events this is definitely not for children under the teenage years not for tweens and only for teens in their later years

I would give this movie a rating of NC-17

But definitely well worth the attention of the adults in any house.

Flamin' Hot (2023)

Folks this film is not for anyone under 13 years old there was inappropriate language and subject matter especially those who speak Spanish I suggest you watch who watches this film because there are not so nice words in Spanish in there

Liv and madness is an incredible true story of a man who came up from the bottom and made something of himself absolutely incredible that is what this country is about

Definitely worth your time and attention definitely worth a watch but I would say do it on a weekend when you can have a few flaming Hot Doritos and some savasa For those who don't know what that means that is Spanish for beer.

Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)

This is a stunning piece of film work an absolute beautiful sequel to the original I'm finding myself not being able to wait for next year for the release of the third

What an incredible movie it shows the closeness of Jake's family and the beauty of the world that is Pandora I love how in the end cuarch,s own son walks away from him in favor of his true family now I must say this is not a movie for anyone under 13 because a very strong suggested themes bad language and heavy violence I think they underrated this film I think it should have been rated NC-17 because some of the themes in here are a little hard for a 13 year old to understand Please use extreme judgment when deciding whether to let your 13 and unders watch this movie I personally don't think anyone under 17 should be seeing this because of the suggested themes and the violence

Children have a hard time processing things like this so let's use good judgment and who we let watch this movie please for your 17 and overs they will enjoy this movie thoroughly I did

I would call this a very informative film I look back to Walt Disney's earlier days absolutely incredible definitely a watch for the entire family It's also a look back to the earlier days of film and animation before computer technology when talent was actually required If you want your family to get a history lesson of early American film work this is the film I would definitely recommend it it's an early look into the Walt Disney company before Mickey mouse before Alice in wonderland before any of them this is a look into the life of a great man who shaped American cartoon work American film and family entertainment from the very start and how we had to compete against big companies like MGM.

Black Adam (2022)

Definitely NC13

This movie is an amazing piece of film work it's a continuation of the avengers film series but I would say this is not a film for anybody under 13 there is a lot of violence there is suggested themes it's very dark and could frighten anybody under 13 If you are a fan of the avengers films then this is for you but please do use caution when evaluating which members of the family should watch this film

This this is a fill my definitely would recommend it stars Dwayne Johnson is Black Adam AKA The Rock that star is not enough to pull you into this movie I don't know what is Dwayne Johnson is the action star definitely worth a watch.

Texas Rangers (2001)

This is a very awesomely put together piece of film work detailing the history of the Texas rangers This is not a Walker Texas ranger film this is extremely violent foul language suggested themes inappropriate subject material definitely NC 13 Once you're under 13 kids are in bed I would highly recommend this film I I really can't say anymore without going into spoilers or ruining the film for everyone

Suffice to say that you will enjoy this film immensely if you remember two rules keep your young children away from it otherwise you will have to explain inappropriate subject matter to mind that aren't mature enough to understand.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)

Folks this is definitely a movie to be seen if you saw the first one then you need to see what kind of forever it's a continuation definitely worth your time.

There is definitely a lot of violence in this movie and suggested themes I would say this is a PG-13 definitely use parental guidance where children are concerned with this film Also you need to have seen the first film to understand what's going on here there is a lot going on in this film

I'm at a loss is what else to say here I guess you should just see this film and enjoy it for what it is to each his own

But definitely not a film for anyone under 13.

Critical Thinking (2020)

This is an amazing piece of film work in my many years of watching and reviewing movies I have yet to come across a film as amazingly well done as critical thinking starring John Leguizamo as the chess teacher This film is based on the true story of the 1998 Miami Jackson high School chess team they went on to win Nationals by a very this movie teaches the critical thinking involved in chess play at the national internet international levels when you get into national level play you need to bring your A game and this movie puts that out there chess is not a game for dilettage wannabes or losers

And this movie actually details that it shows how four kids from the streets of Miami were called together to do something beautiful and they did they brought Glory not only to their school but to their classmates and to their families I salute Chess truly is the great equalizer a game that I have no clue how to play I wish to God that I did

I hope this film can find some families that are down on their luck and bring their young geniuses to Great stardom though having said everything that I just said this movie is not for anybody under NC-17 definitely not due to strong language suggested themes drugs and gun violence please use extreme discretion in deciding who can and cannot watch this film I cannot stretch this and stronger enough language but this movie is definitely worth your time.

SAS: Red Notice (2021)

Santos body will this movie is an incredible piece of film work he details what can happen when corruption fest is at the highest levels but in this movie it is extremely violent bloody horrific and full of Gore it is not suited for anyone under NC 16

This movie would definitely give young children an incredible series of nightmares I'm not sure if I'm not going to have nightmares after watching it and I'm in my fifties just saying please use extreme parental discretion when allowing your your under 16 children to see this movie it is full of violence and extremely suggested themes not appropriate for anyone under 16 I cannot stress that in strongest enough terms thank you for listening.

Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771 (1993 TV Movie)

This is a true story starring Scott bakula I bought a pilot who flew out of San Francisco in an AG truck basically a Cessna with very little instruments and a broken ADF who got lost in the Pacific after flying 14 hours out of pango pango

It is a very intensive movie well acted well played and directed for those who are in the flight this is a good movie my other favorite actor is in here Robert loggia Who plays Captain Gordon Vedic who was the senior Captain with Air New Zealand.

If you are in the airplanes like me you will enjoy this film it is definitely worth the time definitely pay attention to the terms being said in here it can be confusing sometimes like the term rat it stands for ram Air turbine Rescue of flight 771 is a true story and for my money it is worth the time attention.

Apollo 13 (I) (1995)

This is the story of the Apollo 13 mission and it's true on their voyage to the formora Highlands on the moon and how they had a main bus B Undervolt Basically the entire land shut down 👇👇👇 This is the story of how NASA had to recover the crew of Apollo 13 and figure out a way to keep them alive in the lunar access module which is what they had to use to return to Earth

This is definitely a family movie but I would use caution again in how old how young a child you let watch this movie basically because they'll get bored with it this is a movie for nc-13 and up it is very well acted extreme all star cast but worse than evening to watch also be aware it's like almost 3 hours long.

The Right Stuff (1983)

This movie is the story of how Colonel Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier in the X1 is not a movie for children under 13 or 14 years old because it is like 3 to 4 hours long most kids will lose patience and get bored very quickly I did when I was 10 years old and I understood what was going on

Sam Shepard Denis Quaid And many other stars in this movie the story of how the sound barrier was broken and how mach flight was made possible I saw this movie when I was 10 years old back in Sacramento California this was back in like the 1980s

I cannot reiterate enough this is not a movie for young children it is Scott Strong language but mostly because it is so long and most of it is very dry stuff so parents please decide if you think this film is appropriate for your kids.

The Hunt for Red October (1990)

Incredible

This is a work of pure fiction but it is absolute mastery by Mr Tom Clancy starring Sean Connery Alec Baldwin an incredible piece of Fill work I would say this is an nc-13 simply because of the history that's going on in this movie most kids under 13 won't understand or quite possibly get bored. This is a story about a Soviet submarine and her command crew that are defecting to the United States it is definitely worth the time I myself I own two copies of this film This is an example of one of Sean Connery's best films I know we're going back about 25 to 30 years here but is definitely a masterful piece of film mastery in the biblical sense of the word.

Rambo: Last Blood (2019)

This is not a movie for children I cannot stress that enough this film is violent and the extreme sense of the word drug use sexual innuendo violence beyond violence foul language suggested themes and not a movie for children this movie is definitely NC-17

But for adults this is a very good film a way of wrapping up the Rambo series but I will also further say that this movie should not be watched by those sensitive to violence or those who might have nightmares because of this those suffering people from PTSD should not watch this film please take extreme caution when watching this movie

It is a masterful piece of film work Sylvester Stallone has proved his mantle as a director as well as an actor but this is an amazing movie but definitely not for squeamish people or people afraid of blood this movie is so violent I can't even coin a phrase to tell you how violent it is please watch this movie cautiously and take it with a grain of salt it is fiction but fiction in the extreme violence sense of the word.

Infidel (2019)

This movie is ranked with violence adult themes strong language and inappropriate subject matter it is not appropriate for anyone under 17 Please be cautious who you let see this movie it will spur nightmares it is extremely violent and filled with swears and inappropriate subject matter it talks about real events.

It is about religion and how certain parts of the world hate American religion it is an extremely thought provoking film It is a movie that I will remember for a very long time.

I guess the end of my review is just this one does not travel to the Middle East and try and shove our religion down there throats this movie is a reminder of that you are best serve your religion and leave the rest of the world unto itself.

Wildhood (2021)

First off this is not a movie for children it is exceedingly inappropriate there are bouts of nudity foul language extreme violence it is not meant for anyone under 17 NC 17 It deals with violent subject matter child abuse both physical and mental it is for NC-17 and adults anyone under 17 would not understand this film

Other than that isn't it is an extremely good film well worth the watch and the time but please if there are children in the house watch it after they go to bed.

It deals with instances of child abuse which in my mind is far too often an occurrence in this world it also deals with native American culture and gay themes it is listed under lgbtq films on Hulu but definitely worth your time.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)

The director was Aaron Sorkin this movie was extremely violent full of foul language inappropriate subject matter drug references references to riots and clashes with the police this is definitely not a movie for anyone under 16 please do not let your under 16 kids watch this movie it will give them nightmares it is extremely potent

But I would have to say for those who are mature enough to understand it it was very very poignant and fact-filled it was about rights and the absolute denial of their rights the judge in this case was inept corrupt and stupid.

The Siege of Jadotville (2016)

The King (I) (2019)

This is a film by Netflix from 2019 it has been in my Netflix watch list for a year I finally got around to watching it and boy am I glad I did what an amazing documentation and display of history in raw form I must also say that this is not I repeat not a film for anyone under the age of 14 being that it has extremely violent there are subjective themes and language and subject matter that are not conducive to children please only those 13 and over should be seeing this film and then even at 13 I suggest parental guidance

Said that it is an amazing film that can and will teach history King Henry v was one of the greatest Kings in British history definitely worth a watch check it out.

7 Days in Entebbe (2018)

This was a very very powerful film extremely violent lots of foul language Let me say right off this is not a movie for anyone under 13 it is violent full of sexual innuendo and nasty language it's full of adult themes and suggestive subject matter it is based on a true story and actual events that took place in 1976 The taking of an Air France flight to Paris.

And how the Israeli government took responsibility and rescued the hostages in a very successful raid definitely worth the time to watch but again I will say do not let anyone under 13 watch this movie it is not appropriate in the extreme.

This is a statement to the reason we should never live in high rises man was not meant to be more then 2 feet off the ground unless in an aircraft I would suggest you watch this with your entire family.

As it document's the truth about the dangers of fire

and will trach kids to have a healthy respect for fire and to never pay with matches or fire of any kind Katherine Bell ( form the Good Witch and JAG is an amazing actress.

Please make you kids watch this it is fiction, but it truly states what fire can do I have seen it myself fire is not a game.

I Am Woman (2019)

On an author's side note I am struggling to become an author of fiction books and this movie has inspired me to continue with my work Helen Reddy was a powerful woman and this film definitely kicks a fire up your backside it's not a movie I would suggest for children under 13 because of suggested language and thieves and drug use throughout but definitely a 10 out of 10 stars in my books.

I would say this is probably one of the most inspiring films I have seen in a very long time definitely worth you taking the time to watch but please folks only with kids 13 and over anyone younger it's not appropriate Satnam JI and peace be with you.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

I found this to be much better than the 2016 release this was right on topic right on cue I thought it was incredible that we got to see Egon spangler's grandchild the confusing part for me was when and where did Egon Spangler get married I know he had a thing for Janine melness.

I thought this was a very good 13 and over movie I would not allow anyone under the age of 13 to see it because of certain violent scenes this film is definitely worth the time it takes to watch it it is over 2 hours long so you better make some time for it

You you can tell that Phoebe looks exactly like Egon did definitely see this movie take it from this IMDb reviewer who has been reviewing movies for more than 20 years on this site this movie is definitely worth the time.
