Duck Season (2004)

Excellent movie!

Well, first of all, this is not an action movie, here you won't see any dead people or car chases, but you will leave the theater very happy because you've just seen an excellent piece of movie making. It's basically the story of two teenagers that are left home alone any given Sunday and they decide to spend all day playing videogames, eating pizza and drinking soda, what else in the world a couple of teens could ask for? but then, something happens that changes their original plans and they have to spend the Sunday doing other things. This is a movie that shows us that underneath the surface there are always beautiful things and that we always have second chances, every day is a good day to start all over again. Wonderful movie, don't miss it if you have the opportunity to see it. 10 out 10

Killing Cabos (2004)

Excellent piece of movie making!

If you liked 'Snatch', 'Pulp Fiction' or 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels', then you're in for a treat! This is such a great movie! It's the story of two guys in the night in serious trouble. They have one body, one car and absolutely no idea of what to do with them. I won't say more, but I can tell you, you have to see this movie, it is a perfectly well done piece of movie making and as a bonus you get to see a De Niro's memorable line acted by a Mexican, what can I say? it's hilarious. It's a different, refreshing and funny way of making movies, specially for a Mexican movie. Don't miss it, you won't regret to see this if you have the opportunity. Superb!!! 9 out 10.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)

Tarantino at his best!

This is perhaps one of the bests movies i've ever seen! Tarantino manages to put together a series of elements in a way no other director could've done it. Rather than been a tribute it seems like Tarantino redefines the genre and creates a whole new thing. Kill Bill is definitely one of the great movies of this new century.

21 Grams (2003)

Naomi Watts for the Oscar!

This is a damn fine piece of movie making. Every element of this movie is great, cinematography, director, edition, and most of all, actors performances, and in this specific topic, the one that is sublime and awesome is Naomi Watts, what a performance!!! i'm still in shock, though it's been almost a month since i saw this movie. Naomi is simply great, and proves that's she's is for real. She really deserves the Oscar in a leading role for this year. Watch out for upcoming movies of this actress.
