40 Excruciating Days and Painful Nights
23 March 2015
Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. I finished the movie out of morbid fascination. Monica Keena was a constant disappointment with her inability to deliver lines without seeming to have to use cue cards. I'm a post-apocalyptic movie fan with the ability to sit through the most horrific plot lines and acting but this was truly painful. It was almost as if the actors were told to improvise throughout. The scenes with the captain and his two cohorts on the deck piloting the ark were possibly the worst scenes of the movie. The captain's face whenever the ark was tossed about was completely hilarious. It brought to mind Captain Kirk and his crew being tossed about on the Enterprise .... The acting on Star Trek was much more believable, however. Moving on to the next b-rated catastrophe.

Touch (2012–2013)
Touch is a "Must See"
28 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Slight spoiler:

I admit, I'm generally skeptical when previews are "too good." However, in this instance, "Touch" did not disappoint, nor did the previews give everything away. Tim Kring has a phenomenal ability to tie together multiple story-lines creating an intricate web that surprised me and left me heavyhearted and delighted by the end of the pilot. I am so used to seeing Kiefer Sutherland in his Jack Baur role that I was sure I wouldn't be able to separate him from that character. I was wrong. His portrayal as Martin Bohm, the father of a young seemingly non-communicative boy was exceptional. Danny Glover added a great "Touch" to the episode and the story left me wanting more.
