In the Dark (2019)
Lazy Writing after Season 2
What a great idea and storyline through seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 and 4 really lead you to believe that the writers got incredibly lazy and we're just trying to cash in a popular series. How small is chicago? Are there only three police officers in the whole city? How could everything on applied be tied together and just seem to always work out? Probably the worst character an actor in the whole show is Josh. Blind IRS agent, gets canned, and all of a sudden as part of the Chicago PD. He has more instinct and insight than anyone who's been a police officer their whole life? He finds a single black button in the middle of a forest while blind? I just got wrapped up too easy like a children's story at the end.
One Shot (2021)
More unbelievable than Batman!!
Just ridiculously unbelievable. Seems like this seals are part of call of duty fighting an endless stream of enemy combatants. Had to be over 5 to 600 enemy fighters on this base. All of which were killed by basically a lone Gunman. Tough to figure out which one since they all seem to be named, Jack. I know very original for a movie about seals.
Unbelievable hand-to-hand combat scenes that we all know, since the onset of MMA, just don't go down that way.
I like the general premise, but the story moves way too quick and gets tied up too neatly at the end.
I can't believe! Ryan Philippe was involved in this. One of the few known actors in the movie.
Survivor (2000)
The show gave in and went woke.
If someone who has watched nearly all 42 seasons, the last few seasons have been getting difficult to watch. The last two seasons have clearly turned the corner towards wilkism and embraced it. And also seems as if the show is producers have set it up to ensure certain types of winners. This is a show, that's run its course for me and I won't be back.
Too Old to Die Young (2019)
Only better than Ishtar!!
My God, this seemed like a step above a second year film students work. Was audio and graphics made by the film students 13-year-old brother on his computer. The audio throughout is horrible where one actor is loud and the other you cannot hear but with incomprehensible movements ..throughout and story lines. It's clear they're trying to make a certain character out of Miles Teller but my God, they could have hired a piece of wood for less to deliver the same character.
CNN Newsroom (1989)
Jimmy Costa has clearly given up
This once respected news anchor has fallen prey and these turbulent and tumultuous times into becoming an opinion pusher. Rather than stick to news and facts with a lien to the left, this guy has gone all in while his rating is continued to plummet like a led Zeppelin on just trying to battle with Fox News. He regularly calls out Fox News anchors and plays clips out of order and out of context and an attempt to try and win a ratings war. He should focus on what got him to where he is if he wants to win a readings war rather than stoop to a low level. I don't think there's time or a chance for this guy to come back. He seems to range and unhinged at this point and I think it's time for him to be put out to pasture at CNBC or get his own podcast.
The ReidOut (2020)
Doesn't Attempt to Fact Check
This hack, can't fact check simple items and goes on the air and irresponsibility, property them as facts.
Her most recent debacle came while interviewing CRT author, Dr. Kindi over comments made by Senator Josh Hawley on the author's comments on racism. Joy, because the quote was SO insane, she just assumed the senator from the other team was wrong. A simple, responsible fact check, or Google search, would have shown the quote was word for word.
If you are that lazy, you do not deserve to be on tv or call yourself a journalist. That's dangerous.
Without Remorse (2021)
Oofa!! That was not good!
They should have used those cardboard cutouts that were used to fill stadiums during COVID-19 rather than the ensemble they put together for this cast!
This is a poor reflection on any Tom Clancy novel!
Grey's Anatomy: No Time for Despair (2020)
They have not only jumped the shark, but killed it was a chainsaw!
The show certainly jumped the shark many many years ago, perhaps with the person turning into a tree!! The show has become almost laughable at this point from where it started 17 seasons ago. Every season cliffhanger has either a serial killer, mass killer, fire, or some other type of natural disaster that puts everybody in the hospital at risk. The past few seasons have really started to pile into delivering political messages. This season, not only weighted into the pool but dove into the deep end. The show is now nothing more than a vehicle for its creator to push a political agenda.
History 101 (2020)
Complete propaganda Vehicle
This series is predictable after the first 2 episodes. I think the ice caps fall in every episode. A documentary that was otherwise interesting all of the sudden deteriotes into a climate change prop piece in cows farting!! Space exploration and The Race for Space again moved to climate change.
The Irishman (2019)
Poor acting, great story
De Niro was positively horrible. He's robotic at best. His mugging face and inability to move smoothly in fighting scenes was difficult to watch. The story is somehow well told through the plodding acting
