The movie is very enjoyable. Sure there are a few cliches that appear in every romantic movie but overall it's a good film. The acting is nice, the atmosphere is right, the chemistry is there.

It's not the best movie of all time but it s not a waste of time either.

Watch it if you're in the mood for a pretty good romantic movie. It's almost up there with "the notebook" so if you're a fan of the latter, give this one a try.

This movie is awful. The acting is terrible. Aaron Paul is an amazing actor, he should pursue better projects and Emily should stick to posing nude on her instagram.

I haven't read the book, but i am a fan of old english romances (all of Jane Austen, Howards End etc..) This one is no different, BBC has done it again.

This movie had potential to be a really funny, enjoyable rom-com..but somehow became a cringe fest. The acting is pretty bad and the editing is also pretty bad, the scenes don't flow as smooth as other movies of this genre, the writing is bad the whole movie doesn t make any sense!

It's bad guys..it's all bad.

It does keep you hooked somehow..i think it's because the actors themselves are well known and very likeable. But do not be fooled, this movie is a waste of time! It will be 2 hours of your life you will never take back.

Just don't watch it! Cause if you start for some reason you won t be able to quit it.

Interstellar (2014)

Sure, i love a lot of movies, from simple : 12 angry men to more complex like Inception, fantasy (Avatar) and a lot of other great movies out there.

But Interstellar..the feeling you get at the end, with the perfect music and the incredible visuals really make you believe this is the best movie of all time.

I don t think there is anywone who didn't watch it at this point but if..IF somehow you missed it, DROP EVERYTHING AND WATCH THIS MOVIE NOW!

The Walking Dead (2010–2022)

Lost me at the end of season 3

Started out as a solid show, i dare say a great show! But lost me half way through season 3. The "governor" storyline was so prolonged tha it got boring. The best part of the show was the surviving against the dead, and forever moving forward to new locations. Even the cast was better in the beginning. When they started puting humans against humans..the show lost it.

Sadly, I will not continue watchting, gives too much soap opera vibes.

It s a 6 for me (season 1,2,3 overal) A 10 for season 1.

Equals (2015)

Not that bad but.. not that good either.

The first part is too slow paced, i feel like this is where a lot of people would give up on the movie.

The second part is a bit more intense, but the ending still felt abruptly cut.

The acting didn t really impress me i don t know why. Kristen (although i really like her) kind of has the same acting in all her movies. Perhaps this role did not leave much room for outstanding acting.

Overall not bad, but at the end i'm sorry to say that the dominand feeling was "i wasted my time".

This movie brings "Gattaca" vibes, and I love that movie. Instead of this one, perhaps check out Gattaca, you won't regret it.

The Woman in the Window (2021)

Sure this movie is no masterpiece. But in my oppinion it s a good friday night watch. It's pretty thrilling and entertaining, it had me glued to the screen. Amy is a delight as always. There are some decent plot twists and the end brings a peacefull closure to the movie.

The Human Stain (2003)

I don't get the bad reviews. I think this is a very touching story, tought provoking and beautifuly shot. Nicole Kidman and Wentworth Miller did a great job, stood out from the rest and carried the movie in my opinion (ofcourse Hopkins is a legend). It's not an action movie, the pace is a bit slower but somehow kept me glued to the screen. The only downfall for me is that at the end the entire movie somehow felt a bit rushed, i think if they added just a few more scenes it would have been perfect. Definitely worth a watch, i do not regret the minutes spent. 8/10 from me

Annihilation (I) (2018)

Believe it or not i chose to watch it a second time.. what was i thinking? I don t know. The movie makes no sense, it's SF but with no logic behind it. You can't learn anything from this movie and you can't relate at all to what's happening. But somehow..it keeps you hooked..

My favourite movie of all time. Simply perfection! Proof that you need nothing more than good plot and good actors to pull out a masterpiece. No special effects, no special costumes or visual wonders..just..dialogue. If you haven't seen this movie DO NOT wait another second, drop everything, go watch it and be amazed.

I ve read all the books in my teenage years, and loved them. How could you not? A romance like that is what every girl in high school dreams of: the bad boy that will be good only for you.

The books in my opinion are pretty well written, easy to read, not boring and surprisingly not that cringey ( for teens ofcourse).

The movies, at least the first 3 movies are BAD. I believe the casting is perfect. Edward and Bella, and all the others look the part. But the acting is terrible, and i m pretty sure it s the script and the directing. The lines are just dull and have no connection to reality. No one, i mean NO ONE, talks like that (the dialogue between Bella and Edward mostly). The books have a much better, coherent and even interesting dialogue between the 2.

There isn t much character development in the books either but at lest the existing personalities are far more real. Book-Bella is sarcastic and funny and even has a little temper. She s brave and smart. Movie-Bella is the most boring human ever. Edward is a bit more book-accurate in terms of personality - except his lines are really bad beacause the dialogue is not in the right order like it is in the books and it just doesn t seem natural at all.

The cringe is almost unbearable in the movies. It s just wrong, all of it. I think they really screwed up these books. It could have been a really beautifull teen romance, a sort of fan fiction that would last for years but it s just a big cringe fest.

The only good thing is the soundtrack and the occasional visuals.

Unknown (I) (2011)

It is really hard to find a good, new, interesting movie these days. On most nights, like tonight for myself, the task is actually impossible. 2 movies I tried watching, both fails..

This movie is not that bad If you haven't seen the Bourne Identity. If you haven't, give it a try. But if you did see Bourne, don't waste your time on this one, it's an almost exact replica. Nothing new to the script..

Roswell, New Mexico (2019–2022)

I don t like it, maybe it's an ok show, but just don't name it Roswell. It has nothing from the original one: the feels, the pace, the realism of the characters and dialogue.. all the good parts all gone. This one is just a chick flick.

Takes me back to teenage years

I love this show, i just love it. ( in truth season 1 is the best, season 2 started great but kind of took a turn and season 3..pretty bad) It's the first show i ever watched, when I was about 13 or 14. I just fell in love with Liz & Max. I will not be reviewing the "quality" of this show because compared to recent tv productions it's ofcourse far inferior in terms of visual efects. There are mistakes in terms of script too, the plot is often times pushed to extreme and unbelievable, sometimes cringy or too dramatic. In short, yes it has flaws.

BUT

I personally feel the good excedes the bad with this one. I may not be the best judge because I am very emotionally invested here. This show really takes me back to teenage years, to first love, to purity of feeling, to real friendships.. I rewatched it a few days ago (i m now 25) and i just love it. I think i saw a whole other side of the show this time and i understood a lot of things differently:

• it painted a very real picture of relationships (ignoring the alien part): the struggles, the problems, the emotional connection, learning to accept the other with flaws and all, growing together - i think the actors did a great job. Liz and Max vs Maria and Michael. A lot could be taken from both. It s really not your usual cliche romance. The characters actually get to know each other, talk, share, lern to trust and not judge. And i really enjoy that they encourage waiting in terms of having intercourse. The girls and the guys are virgins and i think it's a good message for teenagers out there today (when let s be honest everything is sexualized) that the first time (at least) shoud be with someone they care about , that treats them right..

• the child- parent perspective. We have the teenage kids go through different parental issues and it feels very real and relatable. Is not just drama, there are actual real life issues and we are presented with both sides (Parent and teenager)

Also what REALLY surprised me, watching it again, (as a kid i only cared about the romance) was that it touched on : parental abuse, suicide, mindfulness, piece of mind, meditation - budism, and (for a second) on racism too. You just don't expect that from a teenage-alien-romance-drama show. All in all i love this show but i'm really emotionally attached to itso i may be biased. To be objective: it is a good show for teenagers and they can learn beautiful things from it. Xoxo
